San Diego's nightlife was alive as ever on this Saturday night. The streets leading into bars and nightclubs were filled with crowds coming and going, either late arrivals to the various parties or those who had drank their fill. With his black dress shirt and black dress pants, Nero fit in nicely with the majority of those who dressed to impress, so to speak, and while he wasn't typically the type to go out to socialize with people, his agitation at events at the school had given him one thought, overriding his usual behaviour:

I need a drink.

Having lived in San Diego his whole life, Nero had a fairly good idea of where the decent bars were, and upon arriving, calmly eased his way through the crowd at the door to make his way inside. There was far more than he had first expected inside, causing Nero to narrow his eyes in slight annoyance, though he knew there was no way around having to deal with the groups of people. The alternative would be having a drink at home, where his parents would be; definitely out of the question.

Besides, drinking by yourself is just sad.

Rolling his eyes slightly, Nero made his way to the bar, ordering a Rickard's Red. It was rare that he was ever asked for ID, as the son of a senator Nero had been given a certain reputation around town, even despite his rebellious image. Reaching into his pocket, the young man dropped a few bills on the counter, more than enough for the beer and keeping his status in this particular establishment in check, before turning around, leaning his back against the bar. From here, he could at least have something to look at while he enjoyed his drink, his mind mulling over possible ways to strike back at the administration that had wronged him in the past.

It never took too long for Alexis to be acquainted with shady characters. She was new to this place, heck, this damn country, but she'd already established a few friendships, you could say. She knew some dealers, she knew some scammers, thieves, you name it. So you can imagine that it wasn't too surprising that she'd already hooked herself up with a fancy shmancy fake ID. It was a thing of perfection too. Good quality fake that got her into almost any place she wanted. Tonight's target was a bar, and she'd had a grand old time there dancing up a storm. It had been hard to tell if people had dispersed to give her the spotlight or if it was because her dancing was as aggressive as a mosher's. One thing was for sure, the girl had it in her, and she definitely knew how to dance.

However, the night had led to her sitting at the bar, her muscular arms pressed on the counter as she laughed away at something somebody told her. Her head would turn briefly as someone new made their way to the bar, and she took in his appearance. A small smirk came up her lips and she slowly turned her gaze away as he turned to press his back against the bar. He was well dressed, not the type of person she saw much at these types of places. Not unless they were depressed businessmen, or desk-workers who couldn't seem to please their bosses. Even then, three-quarters of those were middle-aged and balding. He couldn't be much older than she.

'Probably just another suit. Betcha he's all smart and stuff. Boooooooring.'

"EH! Gimme a screw-driver, need sommin' sweet!" she'd yell suddenly banging her fist on the bar and grinning like a Cheshire cat. The barman had gotten to know Alexis already, and grinned back at her before giving her her drink. She'd slap down some money (and a nice tip) before downing that drink in a single gulp, then let out a satisfied "ahhhh~".
Among her people, she was a hoot. Social, loud, and easy on the eyes. Others found her obnoxious, but Alexis didn't mind. Those people didn't know how to live, and they could go mutter angry things between each other. She won in the end because at least SHE was still happy and having a good time.

'He is sorta cute though. For a total suit.' she thought then, biting at her lower lip. Always some highs and some lows, but, she always thought twice about a pretty face. Not because she was looking for something, but because Alexis could be pretty shallow when seeking out conversations in large crowds. You had to catch her attention somehow. The fact he was a bit different definitely caught her attention.

If he ended up a bore, she'd just mock him a bit then go back to her new-found drunk buddies off to the side.

"Hey you~!" she'd finally speak up, leaning over toward him in her seat as she stared him down. It was hard to ignore someone so willing to invade your privacy, and he would probably be able to feel her gaze. "Haha! You look like your pants are riding up your crack! Loosen up, hun!"

She'd let him absorb those words a little, her grin never fading as she pushed herself out of his space and slipped off her bench to stand by him. She was a tiny bit surprised. He wasn't THAT much taller than her. While Alexis was used to matching up to certain males, she'd had the impression he was a bit taller than that at least.
"Name's Alexis, Alexis Kage. Don't see much of your kind around. Don't strike me as a partier either, so what brings you here? Lost your job?"

The first sip of his beer wasn't as good as Nero had expected, most of it being bubbles from the carbonation, causing the boy to frown for a moment in annoyance. Still, the alcohol was beginning to work its way through his system at least, starting the arduous task of making him relax. His mind wandered, replaying events from the first day of school, and the one particular staff member who had earned his wrath.

Stupid Fightmaster. I'll pound him into the ground the next chance I get, break his goddamn-

"Hey you~"

The voice cut off Nero's silent raging, coming from off to his side, the same direction that felt as though someone was watching him from. His eyes travelled to the speaker, widening slightly at her comment towards him being uptight. She was probably right, and since he had come to the bar to relax, he made a mental effort to loosen up, his brow unfurrowing as the girl came closer. Having grown up into wealth, Nero had a good idea of social manners, he just usually chose to ignore them. For once, however, he would be civil.

"Still in school, actually, thankfully it's not that lame military one. I figured I'd come here and unwind a bit, maybe run into someone interesting; I think you fit the bill so far. I'm Nero."

The height similarity was unsettling slightly, as it wasn't often that Nero ran into a female who was as tall as him, and from the looks of it, Alexis definitely was one who took care of her body. Anyone with that much dedication earned a measure of respect in Nero's eyes, and it would be this respect that would drive Nero to continue the conversation on his end, though in his typical straightforward and blunt fashion.

"Christ, you're tall. Are you a fitness model or something?"

While the statement hadn't been meant in an offensive manner, people reacted to such observations in all sorts of ways. As such, it would be up to Alexis on how to take such a comment, while Nero took another sip of his beer, waiting patiently for an answer.

The mention of the Military school had her chuckling softly, keeping the fact she'd be going there a secret for now. Sounded like she had something fun to look forward to then, as far as her new school went. She'd missed out on the first day, but, she'd heard it had been quite something. Violence everywhere! She wished she'd been there. It would have been hilarious.

'If military school is lame, sounds like I gotta MAKE it fun!'

She couldn't help but burst out in good-natured laughter as Nero seemed to notice the same thing she did. She supposed she was in the wrong to think that Nero was a bit short, seeing as most women her age are at about 5'6" or so. She knew she was quite the beast of a woman, she just tended to forget that. On the other hand, she was the appropriate model height, and she felt flattered by the "fitness model" label to be used on her.

"Aww, such a sweetheart, aren't'cha? Heheh. I'm not a model. Don't have enough class for that kind of bullshit, and I'd probably punch out my photographer."
The way she said it would make it seem like it had happened before, and with a gal like her, it wouldn't be too surprising. She had no patience for someone telling her how to stand and yell at her when she didn't do that right. They could kiss her ass. "I'm actually one of those lame people at the military school. Gonna have my first day tomorrow 'cause my flight down here got delayed. Sounds like I missed quite the party there. I heard it was a wild start! Damn."

After he'd finish his sip, Alexis would make herself at home and snatch it from his hand and take a gulp. Not a big one, but it was mostly to show her true character. She was in control, all the time, anywhere. She did what she wanted and she welcomed anyone to try and stop her. If Nero let her take it without a word, she knew he could either play at her level, or she'd established dominance. If he did something, depending on how, she'd know he was either insecure with his position, or he was willing to fight for a position as top-dog. That's how it worked in her world. That's how she analyzed things. That's how she knew where she stood.

If he'd simply let Alexis have her way, she'd hand his bottle right back after her sip and flash him another grin. "Thanks, hope you didn't mind!"

Alexis' laughter brought a small smile to Nero's face, as even he wasn't immune to the infectious nature of good cheer. The fact that Alexis took his comment as a compliment was a good sign in the dark haired boy's mind, as he tended to speak his mind without filtering it for being offensive. Nero chuckled softly at the mental image of her punching out a photographer, especially considering the stereotypical image of homosexual men being the ones taking the pictures. Somehow, the thought of a woman beating them up seemed just right.

Nero would finish his sip just as she finished talking, fully intending on replying before he caught sight of her hand whipping towards his drink. His hand clenched tighter around the bottle, and while he had no doubt that Alexis was at least as strong as him, if not moreso, she'd have a hard time snatching his drink away so easily. Still smiling, Nero would look directly into her eyes and carry on as if nothing had happened, a subtle indication that she'd have to try harder than that.

"I was at that 'party', actually. Wound up getting into a fight with a certain Staff Sergeant Fightmaster, who's one of the enforcers at your academy, if I'm not mistaken. I don't think many of your fellow students are very fond of me, since I called the lot of you... 'subpar', I believe it was."

Since she hadn't been at the school yet, Nero doubted Alexis would particularly care that he'd already managed to make an enemy of Henry Knox Academy. However, the fact that she was so excited by the incident that had happened on the first day, she didn't seem to fit in with what Nero typically imagined as a military student, something he felt inclined to mention.

"You're definitely not the military type, I couldn't imagine you listening to those drill instructors over there. Why is it you're enrolled in that school?"

Staring into her eyes, Nero would probably catch the brief rise of her brows. It was an action that meant she wasn't expecting to be met with force, but that unfading grin also let it known that she enjoyed a challenge. While his grip remained on the bottle, Alexis didn't let go either, the words "challenge" echoing through her mind as she remained as casual as he was, acting as though she wasn't being met with resistance. The fire in her eyes said otherwise though, and while she listened to what he had to say, it would be obvious that her most of her attention was on getting that bottle somehow. If she took a sip, she won.

She didn't seem to offended by her "people" being called sub-par. If anything, she'd been called worse before and it's not like he'd directed that at her specifically. She also wasn't at the school that day, so technically, she wasn't part of Knox yet and technically that would excuse her from the insult. If Alexis just thought of it that way, she wouldn't feel the need to get back at Nero for it. It didn't hurt her, but she didn't get disrespected and not return the favour. Maybe you'll lose every battle, but if you were man (or woman) enough to fight back, you didn't lose your honour. Or something like that. She didn't make the rules, it's what she grew up with.

If anything, the sub-par thing had led her to giving Nero an "Is that so?" look, but with her lips twisted upward at each end, you knew she was still very much amused. It was what he'd go on to say next that would make that smile disappear briefly and her eyes shoot toward her feet as if she'd dropped something. She'd look back up, her puckered lips twisting to the left in an almost thoughtful way. To buy herself some time as inconspicuously as she could, she'd drag her hand down the bottle to flirtatiously cover his own before adding pressure and assuring him this tug-o-war was far from over.

It all happened quite quickly, but it had been enough time to help her gather herself. While she was more serious, she didn't seem grim. Just made her seem like her whole situation had been a troublesome one with that audible sigh she started with.
"Well, I didn't pick this school. Or this damn Country." she'd begin, rolling her eyes. "My mom thought I needed discipline, and believed someone could do a better job raising me."

She'd give a half-hearted laugh, gently dragging her hand back to her empty spot on the bottle. "Wonder what kind of parent sends their own flesh and blood out to another country for someone else to deal with her? For her to get beat up and turned into a brainless zombie that does whatever some yelling bastard tells her to do."

She looked toward Nero then, her blue eyes staring deep into his, searching his soul. "Do you think that's love? That she did it because she cared?"

It was hard to tell whether Alexis wanted an answer or not, but, the silence that followed would leave it open for Nero to comment on. However, to make sure the mood hadn't gone down to a sad one, Alexis would grin and give the bottle a sudden tug. Just to make sure he was "still awake" you could say.

It was clear that the bottle had become the battlefield of the test of will between the two of them, as Alexis seemed as intent on taking it as Nero was intent on keeping it. As long as he managed to keep a solid grip on the main part of the bottle, she'd never be able to simply pull it out of his hand without noticeable effort, ruining the game of keeping their "struggle" private. However, the true trick, to Nero, was the fact that he needed to split his attention between the bottle and the conversation, while appearing as though he were unaware of what was going on.

Difficult, but not impossible.

The not-so-subtle hand flirtation would not go unnoticed, and would indeed serve to deflect Nero's attention from Alexis' momentary weakness. Much of what she went on to say hit very close to home, so to speak, as Nero's own friends had been forced into different schools and states much in the same manner, causing his own smile to slowly fade. How many of them were telling the same story as Alexis, having been ripped away from their former homes and friends in order to better "educate" them? Unconsciously, Nero's hand would clench ever tighter on the bottle, his fury for this system and its morally-bankrupt authority reaching new heights.

Only to nearly have the bottle plucked from his fingers.

With his pinky and ring fingers no longer on the bottle, Alexis would no doubt manage to pull the bottle from Nero's hand within a few seconds. Rather than allow her to simply have such a victory, Nero would push himself off the bar, no longer resting his body against it, and lean in her direction instead, moving his face close to hers and leaving no space for the the bottle to come between them, unless she "backed off".

"I'm sure that's what she tries to justify her actions as. Tough love, knowing what's best for you. It's the same crap that your teachers and drill instructors will probably spew at you. You and I seem to have much in common, not least of all this system trying to beat the rebellion out of us."

Nero would lean ever closer, leaving mere inches between his face and hers, the smile beginning to return as he spoke again.

"Are you going to show them that spirit which can't be tamed, or are you going to let them beat it out of you?"

From the moment the bottle was out of his grasp, Alexis felt a momentary victory. However, Nero left no time for her to celebrate as he leaned into her, blocking her from taking a sip. There would be a brief look of surprise, clearly showing that Alexis hadn't expected this twist. However she was pleasantly impressed by how Nero could keep the scores still tied, even after her objective had been almost met.

'Hahaha, that clever little bastard!'

She knew then that she'd made the right choice in chatting him up. Her previous assumptions of him being a boring, depressed business man had been proved wrong. Which made Nero all that more interesting but nothing exactly 'special' yet. If anything, he'd only just passed one test. She'd see how many more he could take.

Alexis remained perfectly still for someone who's personal space had been invaded. Almost like this was something that happened to her all the time. Nero was in a good position though, because of this game they were playing. Had he come this close without that 'free pass', Alexis probably wouldn't have been quite as friendly. Most of that was due to how much of a loose canon she was today. There were a lot of things bugging her and she was waiting for any excuse to use one of these people as an outlet. This game at least, was keeping her mind on other things, so there was no use getting physical. Oh wait, too late for that actually. Alright then, "violent".

If it wasn't for how she felt his breath on her face as he spoke, Alexis might have almost not realized he'd begun talking. She both felt and listened to his words, giving him her full attention but not backing down. She found it interesting that Nero would say that she and him had things in common as far as being sent here and yadda yadda. She never thought her troubles would be in any way similar to someone who seemed to be pretty well off. Just comes to show ya.

Nero would get even more comfortable, bringing his face ever closer to hers before asking her what she would do. There seemed to be more to that question than simple curiousity, but perhaps that was just her. Alexis' lips would curl into that smile she could never seem to suppress, and she'd lift her chin and puff out her chest. Not in a manner that would warn him to back off. It seemed more like she was trying to make herself almost equal to Nero. Meeting the force of his lean with her own force, her head tilted up to make her seem taller, or at least, about his height as she lifted herself up slightly on the tip of her toes.

"Heh, there's more than one reason they called me "Wildcat", sugar." she'd begin, bringing her chin back down. She'd let him take from that what he would. Most conclusions would probably be correct, anyway. "I didn't get that title from playin' possum, and certainly not from being tamed."

She'd turn her cheek slightly to the left, tilting her head as well so she could brush her cheek against his and come nearer to his ear. If he wanted to play this way, Alexis could too. She'd chuckle softly, purposely doing so to blow her warm breath at his ear before whispering, "Not many can handle this." and she left THAT comment up to interpretation as well. She'd chuckle femininely again, and push herself back, dragging her tongue against his cheek as she did so before taking two steps back in order to be able to see him more properly. She'd lick her lips before smiling, speaking "tasty~" through her teeth before bringing the bottle up to her lips.

Did she lose because she backed away then? Or had her actions counted more than enough to make her in the lead? She wasn't sure, she'd see Nero's reaction first and then she'd make a choice. 'Hope this little pup isn't getting the wrong idea. Heheh, I'm starting to feel like a tease.'

While Nero had started this particular game, it appeared that Alexis had played this one before, and was actually quite good at it. The dark haired boy had expected something along the lines of Alexis brushing her cheek against his, though the hot breath on his ear tickled to the point of him suppressing a shudder of excitement. Even in the classic game of trying to one up each other, there was a point where one wouldn't be able to top the other, or at least, be able to do so while staying in good taste. As such, when the blonde dragged her tongue across his cheek, Nero's eyes would open wide in surprise for a few moments before narrowing in good-natured frustration, knowing full well she'd won this particular battle.

I bet there's not too many who could win against something like that. Maybe.

Slowly, Nero would run his thumb along where Alexis' tongue had been, picking up the excess saliva and rubbing it between his index finger and thumb for a moment, smirking. Even a loss could be seen as a victory, if handled properly.

"I'm glad you think so. Although I have to admit, you make me curious as to what it would take to handle or tame you."

Nero would extend his right hand expectantly, waiting for her to hand him back his beer, though he suspected she would take her long awaited sip first. Regardless of her actions, Nero would continue speaking.

"I'll tell you what. If you're nice to me, maybe we can make sure you're never bothered by your Staff Sergeant. If you don't mind getting your hands dirty, that is."

It was an honest proposal, one that Nero could see working for both of their advantages. The only problem that Nero expected was whether Alexis would be receptive to open rebellion so early, before the system had managed to wrong her yet.

The bottle would be brought up to the blond's lips, Alexis taking a victorious sip before handing it back to Nero. She'd chuckle gently at his words, but wouldn't provide any answer as to what it would take to tame her. As far as she was concerned, Nero wasn't ready for that. To tame something, you need to prove you were in charge, and Nero clearly wasn't. She had to give him browny points for trying though, and an extra sprinkle for being gentlemanly enough not to push it farther than Alexis had. That revealed a lot about his character, and it was something she found herself admiring.

Now, when it comes to brains, Alexis could be said to be missing a few bolts. From her experience, "being nice" to someone meant special favours and special favours meant dirty things. The fact he had to say "get your hands dirty" didn't help either, and Alexis' face would turn a bit sour.
"Hey. I'm not turning tricks for protection, sweetheart."

Her head would tilt to the left, and her muscular arms would become crossed.
"I can help myself if that's the case. Thanks."

"LEXI whut're ya doin' still thar? C'mon baaack...urg..."

Alexis would turn toward one of the guys she'd been talking to earlier, flashing him an angry glare. "Shut the hell up!" But, knowing he wasn't the cause for her slight anger, she'd grin after. "Fuck. You're damn drunk, Arty, go the hell home. Your wife will be pissed."

He'd laugh at that, it was uncertain why, but Alexis would turn her attention back on Nero. Her eyes would become fixed on him, as if she was suspicious of him. Or just telling him she knew what he was up to, which it seemed she actually didn't. She was the shining example of a muscle-head, only, she was one of those rare female ones. I suppose you could say how she grew up didn't help her as far as her being an idiot went. To much school skipping.

The sudden shift in attitude took Nero completely by surprise, as the young man had no idea what he'd done to deserve such behaviour. As she turned to deal with a drunken friend, Nero slowly began to piece together what she had replied in regards to what he'd said.

Dirty. Heh, I see.

He wasn't used to females having the same sort of mindset as a male typically did, though now that he'd realized the vein Alexis thought along, he knew what had happened. When Alexis finally turned back towards him, Nero would simply smile, seemingly ignoring her suspicion for the moment, and opting to remark on something else.

"Married, huh? How....admirable, of him, to be out drinking without his wife."

It was clear from Nero's tone that he was mocking the man, something that was suspect since she appeared to be the tall blonde's friend. However, Nero quite simply had no filters in the way he spoke, mentioning whatever was on his mind, whether it was acceptable or not. However, with the misunderstanding still clearly there, Nero could hold off on fixing things no longer, his smile slowly fading away as he began to speak again.

"Turning tricks isn't exactly what I had in mind, Alexis. I was mostly curious as to know how far you'd go in order to keep the freedom you so obviously enjoy. I assume you know how to fight?"

Nero would lean forward slightly, though not as much as he had before. This was no longer a game, but rather, a quiet confidence meant for her ears only. As such, the dark haired boy would speak lower, while still keeping his voice at a volume that Alexis could hear, his lips curling upwards in a wild-looking grin.

"...Would you ever take a swing at a teacher?"

Alexis would give a dark grin at Nero's words, not offended by them, but what she had to say about it was a tad sexist. Thus, she held her tongue (which was surprising).

The blonde wouldn't calm down too quickly as Nero explained himself better. Part of her was still stuck on the idea that he was some sort of pervert and so she kept her guard up a bit. She'd nod slowly at the question of her ability to fight, but didn't say anything. Her eyes were low and suspicious, and her lips slightly pouted from her anger. What made it worse was Nero's need to lean in again, and her hand had almost instinctively shot up to slap him across the face before she'd undoubtably yell at him to back off.

Luckily, she didn't, and when she realized what he was doing, Alexis would lean in a bit herself so she could hear. The grin made one of her brows raise, and while she felt uncomfortable, she knew she could probably pin him if he tried something sleezy.
"Swing at a teacher?"

Her tone gave away her surprise, however the way she had jumped back from that made it all the more clear. Her left hand would come up to pet her non-existant beard as she thought, giving a little shrug. "I don't see why not. But I don't think I'd just do it for nothing, ya know? Maybe if they did something to me."

Her good humour had come back. Easy come easy go. Alexis would smile, "What're you thinking...?"

The reaction Alexis gave was all Nero had hoped to see, as it seemed she had all but forgotten about the mishap earlier. He hadn't expected her to accept the idea outright, considering as she had alluded to, the staff hadn't done anything to her yet. Still, all Nero wanted was to put the idea in her head; the faculty would inevitably find fault with her individualistic nature at one point, and attempt to punish her for it. All he had to do was give Alexis the option to do something about it, and he would have a potential ally.

"I'm simply thinking that two students have a better chance of giving one of those instructors the treatment they deserve than any lone student would. But you're right, you should wait until you see firsthand their methods of 'teaching', and what they decide deserves punishment and how severe it is. Then you can make your decision."

Nero would pause for a few moments, letting what he said sink in and giving Alexis a bit to think over what he'd mentioned. Casually, the dark haired sophomore would lean to his side, swiping an unused napkin off the bar counter, pulling out a pen, and scribbling some numbers down on it before looking back at the muscular blonde woman.

"There's no rush, this isn't a limited time offer. I'll give you my number, and you can call me if you ever feel like taking me up on my offer, or anything else you might like."

Nero would hand her the napkin, completely opposite to the usual attempts of a guy trying to get the girl's number. It was a subtle gesture to show that he wasn't the one pursuing her for her attention, Alexis would need to gain his.

Listening to Nero, Alexis would find herself a bit confused. Why on earth would she want to plot against teachers already? Okay, she already assumed the part where she’d get beaten for misbehaving, but, that’s just how shit worked there, right? ‘Course she wouldn’t go down without a fight, but she never really thought about taking them out. She just figured she’d deal with them when the time came. That she’d tolerate how things were done (and rebel).

She wasn’t too sure what to say, to be honest. This kind of plotting and whatnot wasn’t something she was used to. She liked things simple. However, she couldn’t deny the curiousity over it all. Kind of like, it was the type of excitement she’d want to be part of. Imagining herself taking down authority (with help of course)...It sounded almost like a movie. Deep in thought as she fantasized about it all, Alexis would find herself surprised by the offer of the napkin. Had she connected his words with the action, Alexis probably wouldn’t have wondered if she had like, a booger hanging out of her nose. The sudden self-conscious thought had made her hand shoot up to her face and feel around before noticing the writing on the napkin.

‘Fuuuuck, I’m a moron.’

Acting as naturally as possible, the blonde would reach for the napkin and smile, eyeing the numbers quickly before looking back up at Nero.

“Anything else I might like, huh?” she’d ask jokingly, giving him a suggestive look before bursting out into laughter. She’d pocket the napkin, not really paying attention to the whole “I don’t need you, you need me” kinda thing going on. She’d completely forgotten about being in the lead, in control, whatever, already by now.

“No worries, sug. I’ll think about it more after my first day. But if you don’t mind, this kind of serious talk is waaaaay too boring. Wanna play truth? It’s like truth or dare without the dare. It’s a fun way to get to know people. Or to find out all their dirty little secrets~”

With a tilt of her head, Alexis would grin ever wider.
“Whadd’ya say? I got nothing to hide and I knoooow you wanna know about me. Unless of course, you had a better idea?”

Unable to contain himself, Nero would grin wide enough to show his teeth at Alexis' self-conscious moment. If she was so gullible when he was unintentionally fooling her, then it would be all the more amusing on the occasion that it was intentional. The more he thought about it, the more he found himself enjoying her company, at the very least she was an entertaining distraction from the situation at the school for the moment. Her initial comment would be met with quiet laughter, Nero leaning back against the bar and taking another drink.

The proposal of some sort of game would be met with a questioning look, as Nero had never played truth or dare, much less truth for that matter, though he still knew how it worked. The fact Alexis was so self-assured made him smile again, as he knew she was right, and Nero definitely didn't have another idea that was any better. Well, none they could do in the bar, at any rate. Resisting the urge to smile wider, Nero would reply, his tone matching Alexis' in terms of kidding around.

"Sounds good to me, though if you've got nothing to hide, you must've lived a fairly tame life. Hey, what're you drinking? I'll get you one, unless you plan on sharing mine again."

If she told him, Nero would wave over the bartender, who would nod, finishing up with the other customers he had at the moment first. However, this would give Nero more than enough time to start their game off.

"Alright then, I guess I'll start with an easy one. How exactly did you earn that nickname 'WIldcat', that you mentioned before?"

'Tame? Hah. More like I'm not ashamed of anything.'
She thought, smiling gently to herself but not letting off any of her thoughts to Nero. Her head would shake briefly, and she'd hold up her hands and shake them from side to side as well. Of course, it was a silent decline before Alexis would speak up. "Oh, no, no, no. I've had enough. Any more and this will turn ugly. Or hilarious, depending on your sense of humour."

She kept quite serious as she said this, scratching the back of her neck with one hand and shrugging. "I'm what you can call a violent drunk. Among other things..."
She left that to his interpretation, but, again, any thoughts were possibly correct. Unless you were thinking of something silly like Alexis dressed up in a clown outfit and driving a unicycle.

Alexis would chuckle gently at the question, not feeling in any way embarrassed but trying to pull off being humble. She didn't want to show off or anything...(Of course she did). After her brief laugh at the question, Alexis would look up in thought, trying to reach far back into her memory as she searched for how it had all started.
"Umm, it came from...people seeing how I was. My behaviour and stuff. Let's just say that this kitty had claws and a pile of issues. That was one thing. I can also party quite hard, which covers being "wild", and I'm pretty hot, so, there's you cat."
She'd stick out her tongue, just to show she wasn't full of her self when she said this. While she wasn't the typical "Omg I'm uglyyyy!" kind of girl, she also wasn't the typical "omg I love me" kind of girl either. She tried to keep humble all the while KNOWING she looked better than average. "Oh, and there's something else too. I'm quite something under the sheets too. Badabiiing! There ya go, three helluva reasons I got the nicky~"

She'd pull her stool over and sit on it, growing tired of being on her feet already.
"I guess it's my turn now. What on earth do I want to know about Nero? Hmmmmm...Oh! I know! What's the meanest, BADDEST thing you've EVER done? You're obviously no Saint." Alexis would lean over to listen more closely, grinning expectantly. "I hope this is good!"

Nero smiled at the suggestive manner Alexis spoke in, finding himself half-heartedly wishing Alexis had agreed to another drink, if only to see if what she had said was true. His smile would grow ever wider at the origins of her nickname, especially the latter half of reasons given. The longer the conversation went, the more Nero could tell exactly what sort of girl Alexis was; no doubt into the sex, drugs, and rock 'n roll lifestyle, though how much of that was accurate was something only Alexis would know.

Amused as he was, Nero opted to remain standing when his companion sat down, finding it more relaxing to lean against the bar and take another sip of his beer. When Alexis took her turn at questioning, Nero would hesitate for a moment, not sure if he should truly go into any real detail.

Well, she asked for it, I guess.

"Well, for you to understand it better, you'd have to realize there used to be a fairly well known gang in this area. They rose up against anybody who would try to tell them what to do, whether it be gangs, rival schools, or in this case... teachers. One teacher in particular tried to get the higher ups of this gang arrested, taking it upon himself to stage a one-man war on them. In response, one of the members destroyed his life. Evidence was planted to get the man fired, his car was totaled, his wife divorced him after his "affair" became public knowledge... and finally, when everything was taken away from him, the man was beaten within an inch of his life, by the person who had taken it all away from him. Me."

Despite himself, Nero couldn't help but feel an amount of pride in what he had done. It had been the first time he'd ever done something for the gang by himself, without any help from the other members, and he had succeeded beautifully. However, he had no idea how Alexis would react to what he had done, and so, he would search her face carefully for signs of what she was feeling for a few moments before speaking once more.

"But since you know my deep, dark secret, what about you? What's the worst thing you've ever done?"

Alexis never lost interest in Nero's story. Both her eyes and smile had been wide in interest and surprise at what Nero had done. What a sneaky little snake he was, planting evidence and ruining someone completely. That teacher didn't know what he was getting into, obviously. The price was harsh, but Alexis spared no sympathy for snitchers. Seeing as she made friends with the bad people, Alexis was used to having many friends and acquaintances brought to "justice" because of concerned parents. Gosh, your kid buys crack from some guy and it's apparently the guy's fault. Maybe the kid should know better? Those were her thoughts on it. Sure what the dealers did was illegal, but, if you disregard that, they are just trying to make a living.

"Christ almighty. Nero!" she'd exclaim, "remind me never to piss you off."

If there was one thing she hadn't accounted for, it was for questions to be returned to her. Usually people just found new questions. Using the same questions wasn't "against the rules" though so she had to answer. Alexis wasn't a party pooper, but, her deep dark secret wasn't something that was easy to share.
"I uhh" she'd begin, feeling a lump in her throat and trying to clear it casually. "Well." and another pause.

"Okay, I'm good. I'll give it to ya story mode too, since. the punch line'll be difficult. That's right, I'm buying time. Anyway. I've got an older sister named Alexandra, but, I just called her Alley because using your full name at home was cause for confusion...Oh. Yeah, we're a bunch of Alex's, just saying. Alexander. Alexandra, Alexandra II and Alexis. Effed up, right? Oh yes. Anyway, my sister and I were a bit depressed at the time. Kinda broken because our uncle molested us. Anyway he's....no longer a problem now. So I thought I'd cheer her up with a bit of fun. I took her to a party and we both got waaaay drunk. Well, I did at least. I managed to convince her to drink, she never usually does....and in the end she drove. I killed my sister, Nero. I made her do things out of her character and she died for it."

She'd completely forget about asking a question back now. Alexis' gaze was almost far away as she relived the images. Drunk or not, she remembered everything in that crash. It was hard to tell just what she was feeling at the moment. Her face seemed a bit pained, but otherwise her eyes revealed nothing. The sight of her would make any normal person uncomfortable.
