"Well something'd be really wrong if people knew we went there without us telling 'em."
A surprisingly lucid statement given his drunkenness. Aware of the weight he was putting on the girls, he tried to lean forwards a little to lessen some of the load on both of them, keeping his weight from shifting too far to either side.
At first, that meant he almost dropped himself right on his head, but Aaron was much stronger than he looked, so he was able to stop himself. His arms around Zora and Leif, and his eyes on the ground when they were open at all, he kept moving.
It couldn't be that far, but it felt like he'd been walking for a week.
She thrust out a hand to rest against his chest as he started leaning over, cursing mostly to herself. It was appreciated, but because of his weight, he threatened to drag her down with him. She didn't exactly weigh all that much.
"Yeah, real new," the Brit told Zora, furrowing her brows at Aaron. "Leif (pronounced "leaf"). Pleasure."
Zora's of a bit sturdier nature, thanks to all of her mom's training and exercise drils, so she remained steadfast, her hand locking around Aaron's waist to ensure he doesn't fall too far.
"'M fine. Was just taking a bit of my weight off you guys."
The way they'd sort of snapped into action had made him balk for a second, blinking, but it was appreciated. He gave Leif a curious look, at the furrow of her brow, but metaphorically - literally would've thrown them all off balance again - shrugged it off, shutting his eyes again and trying to just follow their lead. He'd let them have their conversation, he was basically a passenger at the moment.
Though just how would they even know where to bring him?
Aaron was divided between "don't do that" and "do that again," as reactions to tousling his hair went. Still, he tried to smile at the girls, even though an actual laugh would've made him sick and wasn't something he was in the mood for anyway.
"That's fine. I, um, I have to sober up anyway, might call her. Or just text. Dunno. Maybe I'll eat, maybe I'll just throw cold water on my face. Appreciate you two going out of your way like this."
He didn't know if anyone'd be waiting there after all, and there was a part of him that felt uncomfortable bringing a girl who wasn't Sarah into his pod, even while he was drunk. Even if they were helping him; in a sense, especially since they were helping him, in his current state. So much for the big, strong hero.
"Don't be strangers, hey? When I shake this off I'll try to make it up to you both."
"Eat some carbs if you got 'em and drink a lot of water when you get inside. You're gonna have a killer hangover either way, but it might take the sting off. And whoever you're thinking of calling or texting? It can wait til tomorrow."
She'd open the door and gesture inside. "Your kingdom awaits!"
Before he can react, he'll receive a sudden smack on the ass. "Go get 'em, tiger."
Aaron stumbled free and turned to look at Zora, slowly going beet red! What the hell? Why? She wasn't allowed to touch him there, not without asking! Only one person was! Sure, she wasn't bad looking, but still!
Well, hey, it might not mean anything. Don't sports people do that? Sometimes? Focus on the advice, Aaron. It's good advice. Even with weird touching. He very carefully kept his eyes on Zora's face.
"Um, thanks. I will. Sarah knows I want to talk to her, gotta think about it, maybe if I can't I can tell her I'm not feeling well. I dunno. Thanks again, I, uh, I owe you both."
He was dreading the "killer hangover" Zora warned him about, too.
They'd have a brief chance to reply, before Aaron, still red and muttering a little to himself, shambled inside and shut the door gingerly behind him. He didn't want to close it in their faces after all.

Leif just offered him a little wave. The alcohol wasn't enough to make her killer headache go away, and her shoulders were sore. She really had nothing else to say to him, so she just smiled and turned around, wondering if Zora would follow her.
A grin spreads across her lips as she waves off the offer, producing her vape pen with a flourish, twirling it between her fingers to show it off to Leif in lieu of a cigarette.
"Nah, got my own," she remarks, taking a quick puff and releasing a thick cloud of vapor. "So are you and Aaron buddies, or...?"
