"Well, no. I mean, there's other girls that are pretty too."
He shrugs, going to take some sweet sweet veggies.
"But I'd rather try one at a time, you know? Like, if I'm dating two people, and I end up liking one more than the other, it'd hurt that person's feelings that I didn't pick."
"You don't really look at it as one person over another."
He shrugs.
"At least, that's not how it should be to me. I figure, if I like a person, then I like that person. I don't compare them to anybody, I'd just stick with them because they make me happy."
"Mm, but dating isn't a commitment. It's seeing if you like a person, is it not? I don't think there's anything wrong with having options until you actually decide to stick with one."
She's done picking food so she's just waiting for him at this point.
Clyde sits down, and takes a small bite of his food before Enya asks her question, giving him a brief moment to think about what he's going to reply with.
Don't stick with just physical, Clyde. You can do this. It's going great so far.
"Uh...well... I think you're a nice girl, like I said. You seem to be really open to meeting people, like super friendly. I like that. I also like that you're so willing to go along with stuff, like you're adventurous."
"Well in my experience boys are the most insecure of all. They're afraid of showing their weaknesses because of how they're taught weaknesses are bad. It's very silly."
She keeps her eyes on his.
"If I said I was jealous would you think less of me?"
