Dan would walk into the training room, hoping Mathew wasn't there. The last time they spoke, the trainer seemed ready to mount Dan's head on his wall as a trophy. Danny didn't have time, however, for Mathew to get his shit together and teach him.
Plus....he suspected a follow-up to that would hurt. A lot.
He would walk in and, assuming it was empty he would walk over to the controls...and start by pushing a button to see what happens.
Leg sweeps rarely worked, so he wasn't surprised but more prepared when the guy jumped. He would pull his left back and launch off with his other leg to try and slam his right shoulder into the guys chest as he landed!
Mark half-stumbles from missing his stomp, and is struck by the shoulder!
However, as he takes a step back to keep his balance, he reaches out with his left hand to grab Daniel's shoulder, both to steady himself as well as pull him into the uppercut aimed for the man's stomach.
Dan coughs as the punch smashes into him, almost teleporting but holding fast! Instead, he'd grab the arm with the hand furthest from Marks body before bringing his other arm up and in, aiming to slam his elbow into marks exposed ribcage.
If it hit he would turn and step forward, his back to mark as he gripped the guys arm, aiming to pull on the arm and flip mark over his body and onto the ground on his back! Then he would step back and hold his abdomen in pain, assuming it worked.
The elbow slams into Mark, who lets out a grunt from both pain and the shock!
As he turns to grab Mark's arm, however, the bone manipulator would instead grab Dan in something of a bearhug and kick forwards with his leg, aiming to hit the back of Daniel's knee to bring them both to the floor with Mark on top.
Dan would cringe as the man wrapped his arms around him. He would tuck his chin into his neck to prevent a choke as they fell. His right hand would reach up to grab the forearm of the closest arm to pull and turn to try and force them to land on their right sides.
Expecting Mark to try and scramble over onto him, Dan would throw back his left elbow for Marks ribcage, which would be right in the path of the blow if Mark sought to move up.
Just in case, Dan would bring up his knees in defense of a half mount or full mount.
This guy....was better than him. Danny was just too young and too...weak. Not to mention a lack of experience in a real fight like this, without powers. But, hopefully, he could get some good shots in.
Dan's pull is successful, and both men end up on their right side!
Unfortunately, it seems Mark has no intention of changing his position, other than lifting a leg upwards to attempt to hold Dan's torso down. Instead, he brings his left hand up to throw a hook at the side of Daniel's head.
Dan, his face turned a little in preparation for what he thought would be a mount, would bring his left hand up to palm the back of his own head, bending his arm at an acute angle so his forearm and bicep would hopefully cover his face and block the incoming punch.
Since he was holding Mark's other arm, Dan would attempt to roll his left shoulder forward so that he was on his stomach and Mark's right arm was fully extended before Dan would try to scramble to the right and into a mount of his own.
If it worked, he would try and grip the front of Mark's hair with his left hand while his right would throw punches!
Once Dan turns onto his stomach, Mark would roll with him to lie on top of Dan, his legs splayed out to keep himself steady, though his right arm would still be trapped underneath.
Then, with no real opportune angle to hit him in the head, Mark would instead start throwing uppercuts into Daniel's left side, repeatedly aiming for his ribs!
Dan let out a cry as the first punch slammed into his ribs, knowing that his ribs were definitely gonna be bruising tomorrow. The second one caused stabbing pain, so he would hold Mark's right wrist with his left hand and aim to spin over to the left, whipping up his right arm so the back of his elbow would hopefully smash into the right side of Marks face.
Then, his legs still curled up (and Mark hopefully leaned back a little from the blow) he would try and plant his feet on Mark's hips and kick to try and propel him across the room. If it worked, he would come to a knee, holding his ribcage which protested fiercely under his touch.
Were they cracked? Fuck...he hoped not. This fight wouldn't go on much longer if they were.
He would grit his teeth and come back to his feet. He gave a little smile, though the pain kept him pale. Hunched over slightly, Dan would chuck his chin at the blood.
"Bots don't bleed, Mark. Are you....a teacher?"

Dan took a step or two forward- before he would jump and teleport, aiming to appear behind Mark's head where he would kick out with the hopes of hitting the man in the back of his skull. This attack too, hopefully, would tweak his ribs the least.
Having no idea what Dan's power is, Mark ends up standing there for a moment, looking surprised when the man disappears before getting struck in the back of the head.
He stumbles forward, but surprisingly, doesn't quite go down, instead swiftly turning to face him again and sprint forwards for him!
Danny would seem shocked, taking several steps backward to secretly "Lure" the rushing big man forward before vanishing again to appear behind him and push, hopefully to send up forward and smashing into the wall.
Unfortunately, this would cause him to drop to a knee with a cry from extending his rips, pain searing throughout his chest regardless of whether it worked or not.
