After the unfortunate incident with Angel, Murdoch wanted to keep to his promise and practice his shooting ability. He walking in with a standard issue pistol that most of the agents using firearms carried. Walking up to the panel, he sets up a row a five, low level bots, that stood in a horizontal line at the other end of the room.
Placing a pair of ear muffs and protective goggles on his head, Murdoch lifts the gun up, clasping it with both hands, and aims his shot. He proceeds to fire a couple rounds into the middle bot, getting a feel for the recoil, and weight. He still had the previous day fresh in his mind, so it wasn't hard to reenact.
She was nearly wiggling with the urge to do something. Evelyn loved her chains, and she loved hand to hand combat... she didn't actually have a clue which she wanted to use, but something. Something would do her well.
The sound of the gunshot startled her. She was, after all, a New Yorker. But she knew she was safe. A lot of agents in New York had also used guns. She followed the noise, covering her ears with her hands, and saw the guy shooting.
Moving towards him, she lightly tapped his shoulder, ducking as she prepared to get hit. Or shot at. Don't ever startle a guy with a gun.
He inspected it himself, looking a little confused.
"Some type of Glock, but I've never looked into the specifics." He'd wait for her to place the pair on her ears before aiming and firing rounds at the torso of each bot, swapping between them all.
Two round hit the torso of the middle robot, and the rest of the clip gets spread out along the other bots. They all hit the target, but they're scattered about. The more he shoots, however, the more natural it begins to feel. He assumed it would still take a large amount of work to ever be truly skilled.
"So are you just here to watch, or...?"
He doesn't take his eyes off the targets, referencing the spectator beside him.
Her bright blue eyes widened in surprise, head tilting to one side. "How did you... I mean, you're hitting the target every time. That's so impressive!"
"Oh! That's thanks to mt ability. It'll probably take a bit longer for you, but always good to practice.
"He reload his clip, and give an example of where he hadn't improved, aiming for the heads and firing a round per each bot! He'd clip one or two, but his accuracy wasn't high enough to get good shots on all of them.
