Evie turned away from Rhett quickly, covering her eyes to keep from saying anything. They had been loud and distracting and she had almost lost track of her conversation with Lucien.

But this? This made the little Christmas elf extremely uncomfortable.

"Uh. Yeah. It was." She shifted sort of awkwardly. "I, uh. I think I'm going to go. I have some stuff to do tomorrow and I still need to call my parents. You guys have fun."

Keeping her hand up to block Rhett from view, unaware that he had pulled his pants back up, she went to leave.

"Merry Christmas."
