"Stark. Bianca Stark." She sits up again and stays up, this time, extending her hand for the teen whose journal she had snuck a peek at to shake! "And you?"
She mentions nothing about the weirdness, but, guesses it was probably kinda weird.
Danny would take her hand and give it a little shake.
"Right...Danny Bradshaw."
He would look to Nova, and Gesture at the free room to the left.
"Place is pretty bare but it's home. Welcome aboard."
Danny eyed him- this guy wasn't going to do what this girl did and fuck with him, was he? He seemed to speak of himself in a third person, but Dan didn't see a problem with that. People came from different backgrounds and cultures....who was he to judge? He turned to the girl.
A riot of red ricochets up Bianca's neck and face, and between that, her wide eyes, and her expression...she manages to look panicked, embarrassed, and creeped out all at once.
The brunette sputters, mostly incoherently!
What was this?! Who did that these days!? Was he a creep?! Time to bounce!
Bianca jerks her hand a little and then attempts recovering with a smooth motion to free her hand. She tightens her legs against the arm of the couch and uses her hands to pull herself up so she's sitting on it. She then would flash a bright smile, eyes too wide, still, and would high-tail it like a white-tailed deer at a quick walking clip towards the door.
"I've got some other stuff to do, see you guys!"
She would then proceed to extract herself from the pod! NEED TO WASH HANDS.
It was... cozy. But it reminded Joshua of that cell he saw on that creepy game show, Solitary. Boy was that a trip and a half. The contestants on that nightmare deserved to win way more than 50 grand, at least in his opinion.
Still, the pod was cozy and had all the amenities and junk. He was amused to find these things were co-ed too. Well, no big deal, they were all adults here, right?
"... Right?" He asked himself aloud, but truth be told, the thought had made him a little nervous. He hadn't roomed with anybody before since he was fresh out of high school, let alone a girl. They'd probably have a peaceful co-existence.
Josh found a new way to work out his power! It totally sucked and resulted in a lot of pain, maybe some banging on the floor (but given the pod's construction that likely wasn't an issue), but it was a way to exercise nonetheless.
The heavyset footballer was supporting himself by positioning a large flat barrier against the floor, positioned about a foot under him. Using this, he was effectively 'floating' a foot above the floor, at least until his mind had been pushed to the limit and all of his weigh crashed down in a heap.
"I think I'm getting... ugh... bit better at this..." he assured himself.
Leif had been idly walking down the hall when she heard the sudden crash. Jumping, she turned to stare at it for a second. When another noise didn't come from within, she bolted to the door and knocked.
Thud, thud, thud. Heavy footsteps bound from behind the closed door. There's a click, then the door opens in front of Lief and a sweaty, red-faced Josh is standing there.
Josh looked behind him and looked back at the girl who had been knocking at his door.
"Uh... I was working out?" He tried. He technically wasn't lying. "Kinda hit the floor. Sorry, I'm a big guy. If I bothered you I'm really, REALLY sorry!"
"Yeah! Just exercising and whatnot. No murder going on here, nosiree!" Aaaand that just made it sound like he was covering up the fact he WAS killing somebody.
"So uh, haven't seen you and that's probably because I'm new. Josh Eichmann! Started working as a junior agent not too terribly long ago."
"Gosh, I hardly remember, I'm sorry! Nice to see you again, Leif. Like, the viking, right?" He shook the girl's hand, then instinctively tucked his hand back into his pocket.
"Pretty tired from supportin' my ass with my shields, so I guess I'll stop for now. Otherwise I'll make more noise, and I might have the whole hall come checkin' on me!"
"Yeah... weird..." Josh rubbed the back of his head.
"Well, uh, since I'm done with that, I don't have anything to do here but eat. Puttin' that off for now, I don't suppose you're on your way to anything fun?"
Josh patted his gut. "You're asking a fat kid if he wants to go to lunch. I'll let you think about that." He laughed lightly at his own joke, but his laugh was stifled a bit when he remembered how Evie was angered by his self-deprecation.
It only took a couple moments to kick on his shoes; Josh was the kind of guy who never untied his old sneakers and just jammed his feet right in there in order to make it work. Once they were on, he shut the door and locked it behind him.
