Taner slowly stirs as the cab pulls up to the front gate of Paradigm, exhausted from the early flight out of DC . But he is here at long last. He pays the cabbie before his large green duffle bag and departing. He takes a moment to take in the site of the academy grounds, wondering if his mother felt like this. Either way, time to go.
"Ma'assalama."
He bids farewell to the cabbie in Arabic and heads toward the front gate.
"Nice." He grins before turning toward the academy and courtyard.
"It shouldn't take very long. To start this is the courtyard. Obviously." He brushes his hand through the air like a model showing off a new car. "Not much to do out here, but it's a nice place to relax."
Aaron gestures to where it extends all the way to a part of it that is, in fact, boxed in by the Academy proper. "Courtyard" seems to be just a term they use for the front end of the Paradigm campus.
Taner shrugs, might have to look up the definition of a courtyard at some point. Though Aaron has a point, but is an enclosed yard a 'courtyard'? He continues following given the campus a last sweeping glance as they head for the door.
"Super agility basically. Nothing fancy."
But it allows him to do plenty of fancy things.
"You guys? Throwing fire balls around or something?"
He'd figured it was a nicer demonstration than abruptly plunging the area around them into a cloud of darkness. A lot of people didn't like all the lights being suddenly snuffed out in their immediate vicinity.
He laughs at Taner's comment toward Aaron's power.
"That pretty much nails it. It's useful for both information gathering and expanding my skill set, but the most apparent cost is that anything traumatic or near that can have a very lasting impression."
As they entered the school, Murdoch would start heading toward Tutorial.
"SO we have an auditorium, and regular classrooms, but if you're looking to work on anything physical, our training room is usually the best bet. Also, you can find the staff offices around here, like Director Gavyns for example."
"No sweat, A-man, but just saying what it was would work too."
Taner jokes lightly before continuing to follow Murdoch around. He knew to well the problems of memory and trauma from his mother. He takes special note of the Director's office.
