Then, like Noelle, he starts firing off shadow bolts. However, he doesn't raise his hand to do it; a shadowy "wall" forms between Rhett and himself, then bolts start peeling off it and shooting at Rhett, rapid-fire. He's holding them back so if any hit they won't do real damage, but getting hit by one would be like getting beaned with a fastball - not fun, to say the least. Sure, everybody involved's holding back, but to dodge his shadow bolts so nonchalantly this guy must have pretty awesome reflexes, especially at this close range. With Rhett's attention on the incoming bolts, Aaron calls a veil of darkness over the senior agent's eyes and forms the bottom part of the "wall" into a long tendril, which lashes out to snare Rhett's feet by the ankles and whip him to the ground.
