Dropping a full story before going through a portal and landing back on the roof! With all of the momentum they had... and Piper on top of him... Which totally knocked the wind out of him. They'd drop again but this time into a second portal that would shoot them forward toward the courtyard and into another portal that would rapidly rip into space as they began to drop, this time dropping them higher and into yet another portal. They would whip around like this for about a minute before being shot out toward a soft looking patch of ground! They were flying... flying. She held herself tight to Eric, at one point burying her face against his neck. Through and through they went. Her fingers grabbed his shirt. When they landed, she gave an "oof" and they went rolling. She would eventually end up underneath him, still holding onto him. Once she could breathe, her laughter would return. She looked happy. Happier than she had in a while. Her hair was wild and her skin flushed, her eyes clear with focus. She surprised herself by going to kiss him, by holding him to her for a moment longer. She wasn't, in that moment, aware of why, but she wanted to, and so... she did.
