Probably, and Eliott was the one who'd jumped so far into the past to help Mark, so it's understandable. That's touching, in a way. He's not sure he knows anyone who would throw themselves across time and space to get him out of a jam, or who would even cross the street. His parents don't count. But then, it's not about him. Whatever his heart has been saying over the past days, it's never been about him. He didn't join Paradigm for himself, but for everyone else. And the people here, in this era so far removed from his own? They were as much "everyone else" as those back in his time. He can't just look at them as letters on a page in a dusty, bloody history book. I almost wish I could. "I'm going to grab a bit of air," he says, really for blind guy's benefit, before exiting the structure. He doesn't go where Eliott and Leif are, just takes in the air, the feeling of the camp around him. Stares into the sky and thinks.
