Ronnie, Jeff and Donna find themselves going down an old rickety wooden staircase. Ronnie's phone lights the path, but only about two feet in front of him. Are they watching their feet, or in front of them?
This just in: Ghost costumes do not mean you can fly. Unfortunate.
Ronnie drops his phone and grabs his ankle, making really uncomfortable groaning sounds for a while.
"Fuuaaa you better hope there's some magic ankle cream down here Jeff!"
Regardless of the pain, he crawls to his phone and shines the light at the walls to look for the breaker! Someone else will have to get it, unfortunately, but... he's helping somehow!
"It wasn't my fault! Something tripped me!" Jeff points to the stairs!
Donna somehow rolls another 6! With her bonus she sees the dark outline of a ton of rags she could use to tie up for support!
Ronnie roll's a 5! Intelligence -1 puts it at a 4 but with his charisma a 4 is a complete success! he finds the breaker box against the wall only a few yards away!
Donna rolls a 3! With +1 int she is partially successful! The power doesn't fully turn back on, but a single light around the corner lights up, causing a shadow to be swinging back and forth against the wall at a slow pace.
If the single light is enough to light up the fusebox, Ronnie will turn his light on the shadow to see what the hell that is. If not, then he's gonna keep holding that light there till Donna achieves the desired amount of fixings.
"Oh that probably wa-wa-wasn't a good thing I'm gonna guess oooohhh boooy that's not good that's not good."
No commas, because Ronnie takes no breaks.
Ronnie snatches Donna's arm and unless she protests, drags her around the corner with him to get a better look. He shines his light on the shadow, ready to swing his knife sharpener with all the finesse of a drunken something.
In the low blue LED light, they see the lifeless eyes of Jeff, hands still clutching at the extension cord wrapped around his neck tied to the support beam just high enough that his toes still brush the concrete floor, the swaying having slowed to an almost standstill.
