After the last two adventures leading her to her 'father', Eliott had decided not to drag groups into her family drama. She'd visited Kuni a few times throughout the month in order to get to know him a bit, and discuss her progress with the "Smart Machine". It was slow at first. She'd been able to repair the original...but it was MUCH too big and a bit inefficient in terms of it laying around somewhere and needing to be guarded otherwise someone could break it and there goes your smarts.
She had finally managed to recreate the machine in a more compact size, ditching a lot of the extra features she deemed unnecessary.
She fishes it out of her purse, pulling out something that kinda looked like the memory erasers from Men in Black.
"It should fit in pockets easily...so instead of generating a field that spans the entire city, it's just twenty feet all around you. If you drop it for example, you won't turn into an idiot unless you REALLY threw it."
"That's a good point, but no. The other machine used a vial of your blood and Vlad's blood to target only the both of you. I used that same vial of your blood in this device. No one but you will be affected. Unless you remove it I suppose."
She stares back briefly, then looks down at the device...then back up at him.
This is it. If it works properly then...he should be smarter now, right? She only kinda tested the original machine on Mark...as far as she remembers it didn't cause any odd reactions.
So.
Was he smart?!
The silence was killing her, evident by her slowly widening eyes.
"I believe so. I read an article about the symmetry of facial features and how it directly correlates to an individuals personality. I don't think I understood a single word, until now."
