Can't miss that welcome. Rebecca raises a brow as Enya's calling is drowned out by Eric's whistle, and she eyes their companion curiously before shrugging and heading towards them. She keeps a distance from the group, standing on teh other side of the table.
"What's up?" She looks over at the various magazines with approval. Halloween is the best time of year.
Lotsa talking. A small grin starts as Enya mentions going for costumes, but she shakes her head at the offer from Eric.
"Nah, I already have ideas of my own. Just got to get the stuff to make it perfect." It's then that she catches on to the fact that the guy who nearly faceplanted also said "rootinist toontinist," which causes her to pausse, mouth open for a second before she realizes what she's doing and shuts it.
Wow.
But now she can't get out. Yet. Sorry, she's already thinking it.
"Sounds like it could be fun. Where at?" Again, avoid people as she skirts around the table to skim over the magazines, looking back at Enya.
"What've you done before lately?" No repeats allowed.
"Pod 4. Yours truly lives there, along with.... uh.... other people."
Really, that's not important, so Clyde doesn't expand on it. Instead, he listens to the conversation for the moment, wracking his own brain to find the perfect costume for himself.
He must have a better one than a magician, which he's convinced is Eric's costume.
It would a tight squeeze if there were a lot of people and, considering her current company, Rebecca was banking on it. Time to start finding ways to bow out. She nods for now, more focused on Enya's costume ideas.
"Well, can't help if i don't know." A small gleam in her eyes as she adds, "Or we could try to figure out and go shopping for props and materials later." Halloween was worth it, right?
Oh. Right. The guy with the name she doesn't know. She looks back to her non-roomie. "And yours truly is...?"
Unfortunately for Eric, her expression deadpans as Clyde steps forward, not missing a beat as she adds, "I'm not being a bunny girl, Eric." Apparently she's got the same idea as Clyde.
"Rebecca." Her brows raise further, hesitating only a moment before taking his hand with one of her own, gloved of course. Rude much?
She doesn't add that she remembers Clyde more for being in the front of the agitation the group experienced. He didn't really need to know. She raised her brows at Enya when Clyde's back was turned, but the girl was enjoying herself, so Rebecca didn't say anything.
The mention of Eric being her boyfriend causes her to choke on a laugh, though she doesn't elaborate. "Hardly."
Enya seems pleased that he wants to join in! But his question causes her to bring a hand to her lips like she's trying to hide them as she whispers loudly.
