Sean takes a breath breath of the cool, salty sea air while standing along the harbor boardwalk. It is good to be back in the state where he grew up, though several hours drive south of the town he grew up in along route one. He looks at the papers in his hand, a serene sense of resolution washing over him before they are placed into the envelope. Sean seals the envelope with the proper postage before dropping it into the nearby mailbox.

A formal resignation from Paradigm.

So much soul searching over the previous weeks on whether or not he could continue his work there in the light of the events, both past and future, and in the end he felt he could not. He was never a soldier, never really a fighter even, and that has never changed. Most likely, that facet of who he is would never change and he's okay with that. Perhaps Jack would be disappointed in him but it is what it is, time to start another new life and a new journey.
