Piper's roots had started showing and it irritated her. Blonde... Why did she have to be blonde?
Well, she didn't HAVE to be. Locking the bathroom door, she commenced to dying her hair, deciding to stick with the toxic green she had become rather fond of.
Of course, that meant the tub was temporarily stained green... And that there were green hairs in the bathroom.
Normally, she would clean up, but she suddenly recalled her first - and really only - conversation with her Podmate. A slow smile touched her lips. Plucking a few of her freshly dyed hairs from her head, she set them down...
Through Piper's process of colouring her hair, Eliott had been reading patiently on the sofa, as she usually did if she was in.
She really needed to pee....
This was taking so long! Why was this taking so long?!
After what she assumed was MUCH TOO LONG, Eliott would throw her magazine to the side and stomp her way towards their shared bathroom and knock loudly.
There was a brief moment where Piper actually contemplated her question. Finally wearing a loose shirt and a pair of knickers, she opened her door and looked over at Eliot.
"You have control issues, mate," she snickered. "You treat everyone like your robots."
"We live together, mate. We're probably going to end up having to work together." She smirked slightly. "We don't have to be friends, but we need to at least be able to do those two things."
"A compromise." She gave a little shrug, even going as far as to walk into the bathroom and freeing a rag from beneath the sink, wetting it before continuing. "Give us a chance. Or, at least, give me a chance. I don't know if you'll ever get along with Angel."
She chuckled at that thought, moving to wipe down the specks of green. "Don't yell at me. Don't treat me like I'm inferior, or some sort of legion for you. We don't have to get along like we've known each other all our lives, but something."
Turning off the water, Piper tossed the rag into the tub. She'd get to that later.
Glancing at Eliott, she reminded herself she was trying to be friends with this girl. She needed to be at least a little honest with her.
"I don't know, yet. I just know I'm supposed to be here."
Then, she chuckled, turning and starting to walk back to her bedroom. "If you want to know, ask after you've been relieved. You've been waiting a while."
