Her arms were sore from the work out, her legs were shaking, and there were fresh bruises laid over purpled marks, decorating the skin not covered by her tank tops and shorts. She was aching, quivering, but there was a smile on her face.
She had finally gotten to a point where she could spin the wooden staff and keep it balanced.
To prove a point to herself, she spun it around her side and then around her waist, catching it and killing the spin with a yell of success. Her eyes were bright with excitement. She knew it wouldnt be the same with the sectional staff, but she had a head start.
Once again Murdoch found himself in Tutorial and once again, there was someone else already here. HE socialized here more than anywhere else in the Academy, and he was starting to wonder if that was a problem.
She yelped in surprise at the sound of another voice in the training room. She turned, body seeming to whip wildly around, far too fast for him to see. She knew she couldn't protect herself well, but she still brought the Bo staff down aggressively, as if she knew what she was doing.
"I, uh..." she said, furrowing her brows. Then, she straightened, trying to relax. "Yeah. Pretty fun. Not as easy as it looks, though," she murmured, tilting her head as she tried to figure out who, exactly, this guy was.
Her shake was firm but brief as she recoiled, stepping away from him. It wasn't that she disliked him, but she did dislike being touched.
"I haven't had much combat experience until now. It's not something I am willing to accept." She smirked, then turned, starting to spin the staff once more.
"What's your power?" She asked curiously. She fully expected him not to answer, but she wouldn't push, continuing to go through different moves with the staff.
"Basically, but it also pertains to muscle memory in the sense that I can reproduce any action I perform. So for example, I've been boxing, and my form is perfected fairly quickly."
"Silverman? Very cool. I love it, and want to learn a lot about it. Right now I'm kind of training jack of all trades, but I figure I'll focus on some key aspects of combat and intelligence."
Corpses. She knew the smell of Corpses fairly well, but that wasn't information she would offer up readily. Instead, she turned towards Murdoch, entering into a formal fighting stance and motioning for him to join her.
If he would, she'd run through some of her basic boxing steps she had learned, but no punch would have enough force to hurt him. It looked like she just wanted a friendly, maybe even playful, spar.
"That helps change you," she offered, either while moving with him or while throwing a few basic punches on her own. Whatever he would accept. "Change is usually good. Everything is a lesson."
"Determination is definitely good," she confirmed with a nod. The green haired girl seemed to be moving faster than a normal person, but it definitely wasn't as fast as she COULD move.
"I have experiences in a lot of things," she murmured, kind of quietly, but eventually nodded. "I have pretty good memory, but more for the mundane. And I know the exact smell you're talking about."
