It's like a bad romance playing out in her head, though typically even the most innocent female roles had an 'instinct' of what to do. She tries not to think of how much more experience Eric probably has than her, either. She lets out a whoop of laughter as they drop, hand sneaking to hold his as he starts to pull away.
