Rebecca is so depressed that she's just ruined it for both of them, but at least Eric didn't have to share the end result. She nods and joins him, picking out a flower-flavored syrup just because.
She eyes him suspiciously, especially since they had just had this conversation about cotton candy flavors, but after a moment, she tries a bit of the flavored ice!
He'd go to one of the games. Where you have to get the hoops around the bottles. All about hand eye coordination. He'd slap his money on the table and get the rings.
"Watch and learn Babe."
He'd throw the rings. And yeah, the game must be rigged or something! Cause he only got like two on. Which was lame. And only enough for like, a tiny cheap piece of crap stuffed animal. A participation prize basically. He frowned so hard at that little tiny zebra.
"Better have something to teach me, sensei," she quips back with sarcasm. The more he throws, the bigger her smirk becomes. To be sure, the games do tend to be rigged, but all she can do is give Eric a short round of slow clapping before taking her turn.
"Now, watch and learn, babe." She winks at Eric, holding up one ring in her hand and turning it so she's the next Vanna White. "It's all in the wrist." And hand-eye coordination.
She makes four out of the ten rings! She hands him the lion figurine she won and sighs.
"Those are totally rigged, just like the balls you're supposed to toss at the bottles." Her gaze wanders around the aisles and grins as she points to a new booth, rising on her toes with the enthusiasm.
"Maybe." She totally did. "You'll just have to figure that mystery out on your own, though." She laughs and trades prizes with a grin, happy to head over to the next game booth and hand Eric the prize he gave her for safekeeping.
"Mhmm, this should be fun." Still grinning, she pays for her round and begins shooting the targets as they appear! Her training pays off as she hits the first target.
"Aww, look at him. He's so fluffy." She grins but doesn't immediately take it. Nodding, she looks up at her options for her own prize with a thoughtful hum.
"Sure. Count Remy could use a friend. But first, I need to pick something out for you." Her eyes light up as she picks out Eric's prize and hands it to him.
It's a giant stuffed caterpillar. The kind that could make your eyes bleed with the bright colors.
Looking up at the sky? Or at him? Either way the hint was read loud and clear as he pulled her in closer as he leaned in to kiss her, his shaved ice behind held away from them so it would not get in the way.
The sky, Eric, but your face is nice to. She smiles as he takes the hint and doesn't pull back, holding her own shaved ice up and out to the side in a less grad gesture.
After a second or so, thinking she might be safe, she returns the kiss!
