Everything was just....plain and normal....well, as normal as Fremont can get of course. After suffering a long day of boringness, Xiao decided to walk straight towards the streets of Chula Vista to avoid going to her dorm which would most likely be empty as heck. Plus, that way, she would be able to explore around and see if she can meet some new people to bother or befriend. Doing just about anything would be much better than doing her homework or being alone. She passed by the streets so many times in the past that she knew pretty much everything there was to see or find. Man, she so wanted something to do...well, anything! Anything, oh God why are you so cruel to this poor child who just needs entertainment...? And since she knew everything in the area, she couldn't figure out anything fun or exciting to do on her own. As she slowly dragged her feet to get where ever, that was when it happened. When a ray of light shone down on today's entertainment. "Thank you God, you really do bring joy..." she whispered under her breath, big smile to her face as her eyes watered in happiness. The ray of light had shone down upon a new, lame 'gang'; pretty much high school 'rebels'(as they call themselves) with nothing else to do but claim themselves as a gang to do something that they feel is 'cool'. Which it wasn't in their case by the way. Well, time to make them fun and interesting! "Hey boys~" she said, walking towards them, moving her hips back and forth, before stopping near them, one hand on her hip and the other hand just under her chin, index finger slightly in her mouth, biting softly on the tip of her finger. The men looked at her, confusion at first which then turned to intrigue as they began to look at the girl up and down. She was wearing her black Lolita outfit which complimented her figure very well. The leader pushed the other members away so that he'd be right in front of her to speak. He wasn't that bad looking but not super hot either, his hair being short, lame and brown, his eyes not being too good looking either and brown as well. His skin was tanned and his facial hair was not well groomed, if he was better groomed and fixed up he would definitely be something to look at; but since she wasn't groomed...just no. "Hey there little lady." he said, eying her up and down, grin on his face. "So what brings a pretty girl like you here?" Oh they were going to be easy, may as well make a silly and lame remark and see how that goes. Reading from how the gang was, just saying they were 'icky' and 'ewww' would probably throw them off the roof with anger. "Just thought I'd let you know something." she said, looking at the leader as he nodded for her to continue on. "You missed a spot..." she pointed towards his face with her index finger. He was confused at first, but then realized she meant his shave. It was just then that he realized that he hadn't shaved his face properly and he had left a patch of hair. Clearly the members had noticed as well, but decided to keep their mouths shut; but now that the cat was out of the bag, they were all laughing at their hearts' content. It seemed she had pushed a button since now he was a little snappy. "The hell?! Seriously, what the heck do you want?!" he snapped at her. Xiao looked at his face, her large brown eyes looking confused, as if she hadn't expected that reaction(which she did btw). "Well now, that's no way to speak to a lady! You know, you shouldn't be so rude, already enough that you're not much too look at, you look nothing like a gang leader and that now you apparently have no respect for others; you seem to have nothing to offer anyone." she explained. "Just quit while you're ahead bub, it'll save you the embarrassment." she added bluntly. "Why you little bitch!" he exclaimed, flinging his fist towards her direction. Being so quick, Ni was waaay safe and out of the way from his slow and very bad technique(was there any to begin with?). Missing, he ended up falling forwards, the small Chinese woman now behind him, giving him a good push to the back, smile in face. She giggled, "You're so cute and funny!" And thus he fell, embarrassed as hell, his members laughing at his stupidity. "Anyway, I'll be on my way now." she smirked, an amused look to her visage. Xiao began to walk off, when she realized that he had stood up. "Oh, I'm not done with you!" he barked as he began to chase her, and at a pretty decent speed. Nini raised a brow but looked away, running away, not much of a care or fright visible. She looked back, making sure he was still tailing her and when she saw he still was, stuck out her tongue in a teasing manner. And thus, she not looking where she was going, she managed to bump into someone. Before allowing herself to fall backwards, she grasped the stranger's hand and pulled herself upwards(luckily for her, he seemed tall and strong so he had a good grasp on her without letting her fall). Out of stress of getting the gang leader catching up, she forgot to let go of the stranger's hand and dragged him along with her in her run. She ran with the stranger for a good while before pulling him in a corner so she could finally lose the leader. She sighed, "Oh finally. I think we lost him." she smiled and well...just realized that she wasn't alone, that she had grasped a total stranger along with her. With an embarrassed look to her face, she slowly, very slowly, lifted her face to finally look at this person face to face, to actually see how this person looks like. He was tall, black haired, green eyed and very good looking! She was now so stressed and embarrassed, it wasn't funny. "OH EM GEE! I am SO sorry!" she yelled, unsure how to react at her oddness(if that' even a word but either way, it described it fairly well, no?)... "I...I can't believe I did that! I'm sorry! I hope you're not mad! You're mad aren't you?" She took in a deep breath and held it in, bitting her bottom lip as she waited for his reaction, for a response. Man, what a weirdo she was! The words would escape Nero as someone plowed into him, pushing him backwards slightly from the impact. Any further words of surprise or annoyance were cut off by the sudden pull on his hand, the small girl grasping tightly and continuing her run, forcing Nero to follow or yank her back. Normally, the dark haired sophomore would have followed through with the second option, but the mass of swarming punks heading towards the two, a group that did not seem to just "talk". Knowing full well this was no action movie, and he'd never manage to beat up an entire group of people by himself, Nero let himself be pulled along, managing to keep up with the young girl throughout her journey. When the two finally came to a stop, Nero found himself breathing faster than before, partly due to the activity, and partly in an attempt to calm himself down. Running from a fight wasn't any fun, not if you weren't going back to hit them when they weren't looking. Making a mental note of the gang members' faces that he could remember for future beatings, Nero would look down at the one who'd grabbed his hand, his limb finally released from her death grip. Even as she apologized profusely, Nero's brow would furrow, the boy clearly annoyed at what had occurred, though waiting for her to finish before replying. "Mad? Somewhat. Annoyed? Definitely. What's with the death grip?" There was no point in being too cruel to the girl, as it was clear she already felt bad; any further attempts to make her feel worse would only be for his own ego, something he didn't need to feed all that often. Nero would glance towards the corner they had just passed, looking for signs that they had been followed, and satisfied that there were none, look back at Xiao. Genuinely curious as to why he'd needed to run from the pack of thugs, Nero would speak again, regardless of her answer to his question before. "What'd you do to make them so mad? What she did was pretty much random, even for her standards. Ding ding ding!!! She broke her random record! Congrats to Xiao! Xiao didn’t know what to say really; what could she say? She hadn’t even realized what she did until then, so in a way, it was sort of not her fault… But he wouldn’t buy that excuse, he didn’t seem like the type of guy who would… She smiled and sweat-dropped as he asked about her death grip, to be honest, even she didn’t know what that was about. “Heh, guess I don’t know my own strength…” she scratched the back of her raven head. “I am sorry about that though. I didn’t even realized I had anyone with me at all.” She explained. “Umm..” Oh how she didn’t want to explain why those guys were chasing her. He would definitely not like her idea of entertainment and exercise. “Uh well, you see…” she started. “Um, okay well, I was just miiiiinding my own beeswax when outta no where they attacked like some crazy ninja mofos! I was frightened and confused but I decided to use my wits to confuse them and escape so I was all like: ‘Oh mister evil man, let me goooo! Oh what is thaaaaaat!’ as I pointed at a random location. So I escaped and somehow caught you as they chased me and blah blah blah, you know the rest. The end!” she sped explained, taking in a huge breath after all that and panting a few times before catching her breath. “So anyway, I’m Xiao-Niao. Who’re you?” she asked, smiling softly. “Oh and I didn’t hurt your hand did I?” she took a hold of his hand, inspecting it as much as she could before he would either pull away or not.
