"Hahaha, Hahaha, HAHAHA!"

An unsettling sound to hear in the middle of a fight-or-die situation. Laughter that is. Not even maniacal laughter, or nervous-fearful laughter, but happy laughter. Like a child enjoying his first playground slide of the day. Happy laughter had no place in a soon to be riot. But there it was. Attached to an imposing, six-foot-two, bleach blond guy with frenzied eyes and blood trickling from his lip. No, definitely the wrong sort of thing to hear from a person like that.

JT had been merely passing by when the brawl broke out. Headed in the direction of his locker, or so he thought. At the mere sound of fist striking flesh his ears twitched and his heart started beating faster. He had been told by his new bosses to have fun, be himself. And to JT, a fight was fun. So without hesitation, not even the slightest flinch, he threw his blazer off his back, yanked his tie off, and ripped open his shirt, all for the simple reason of giving him more freedom of movement. Then he ran, sprinted, across the hallway and DOVE, literally dove, into the maelstrom.

Within thirty seconds JT had delivered three punches to the neck of one man, several uplifting knees to the groin of another, received numerous elbows to the head, and had bit the forearm of one poor son of a bitch that tried to hold JT in a headlock. Yeah, the blood trickling from JT's lip wasn't his own, it was that guy's. With the action heating up and JT's mind racing ahead, he whipped his gaze around and saw a small female joining in the fight as well. That's different, thought JT, I wanna try HER out...!

Rushing through the throng of flailing limbs and bodies, JT crashed his way through the crowd and finally came within a few feet of the newly distracted girl. With the same unceasing, animalistic drive as before, JT launched himself at the girl's back blind side, arms out in front and fingers stretched. He planned to wrap his fingers around the girl's throat and slam her to the ground with his greater body mass. Then, oh, he didn't know, maybe have some fun with the helpless little missy.

      ooc: I'm hoping there's room for more than two here? ^^;

      ic:

      'Help her....Don't help her....Help her....Don't help her.....'

Aroon, having left class minutes before to go to his locker, had heard the initial pissing contest between the two groups. At first he'd not noticed the girl who'd spoken to him in the gym a few days ago, but as things rose to a more heated situation, he'd glanced from behind his locker door (having still been rooting through it in a pretense of actually doing something, allowing him to go unnoticed whilst observing) and spotted Ryorin in the middle of things, and going from the actions by all, she didn't particularly mean to be there.

Thus began a brief period of mental debate for the Thai as he considered whether or not to lend his hand to her situation. After all, they had spoken only once, on friendly terms perhaps, but that was all. He could conjure no reason to involve himself and waste energy on a matter that didn't involve him. Besides, with her display, she appeared to be handling herself reasonably well in any case.

'Screw it. Not my problem. Besides, the guys don't look like anything special.'

As he went to close his locker, turning to go in the opposite direction, he heard the laughter and paused, giving another backward glance. Entering the fray in a remarkably interesting manner, a new person leaped in and began to systematically demolish three of the combatants before shifting his sights on Ryorin.

To say the Thai had been a little intrigued by the display of....well, not quite skillful, but certainly effective tactics would be a minor understatement. Pulling a full half-circle on his heels, he batted the locker door shut, his books safely locked inside, and walked toward the mess where it appeared the new arrival was intending on taking a crack at the girl. His eyes narrowed into a slight scowl as he unbuttoned the cuffs of his shirt, rolling them halfway up his arms to tuck behind his elbow, and popped loose the top button of his shirt, having 'forgotten' to wear his tie today. A few people who'd stopped to witness what was happening shifted out of the lithe Thais path as he neared Ryorin and her attacker, before stopping a good ten feet from the pair.

"Let's see if you can prove your theory..." he said to himself quietly, an eyebrow raising in interest as he remembered what she had said to him in their previous discussion...

"Power...I feel is a corrupt word when in the area of Martial Arts. Strength seems to be a truer word. When some answer power as to why they take the Martial Arts, more often than not I find them abusing the arts..."

It was a prime opportunity for him to witness her logic, to see if what she said held any weight whatsoever.

OOC-don't mind if i also jump in guys?

IC-Mikhail looked around the campus taking in the surroundings when the sounds of screams and yelling reached his ears.

At first he thought it was a festival but the pitch of the voices were different, more like pain and fear instead of happiness. He didn't know whether a fight was going on or whether it was a play but his common sense told him not to bother and go instead and find the principal.

But his curiosity was by far greater than his common sense. He hefted his bag on one shoulder and walked toward the commotion.

Arriving there he found two groups of people fighting against each other with a young girl caught in the middle. He could clearly see two men walking toward her from different directions and from their walk he could tell that they were very dangerous.

"Boris don't get involved in this, it's your first day here and it would look better if you didn't kill anyone,"

He should have listened to his conscience, but instead he waded into the large mob kicking and punching anyone one that got in between him and his target.

His height made it easy for him to see what was happening at the other end and he prayed that he could make it there before anything too bad happened. Maybe one day his habit of playing the white knight would get him killed but he doubted it would be today.

The lil' missy was quick for such a small thing. Diving and dodging out of the way of JT's charge, JT was left barreling headlong into another mass of attacking students. Pulling his hands in and leading instead with his shoulder, he bashed into the group of about five raging fighters and knocked over two like bowling pins. That was JT version of stopping a failed charge. Pushed off center by the impact, JT stumbled about for a moment before regaining his balance and quickly whirling around to face where he'd just come from.

"You're quick girly! That'll make this much more interestin'!"

Once JT was on a roll it was hard for him to stop. He'd tasted blood and now he wanted more. Taking a deep breath, he let out a ragged, heavy sigh and stuck his tongue out full length, tilting his head back and forth. An unsettling, beastly mannerism that caused the guys at his back to forget any notion of counter attacking for knocking them over. This guy JT was something else, something out of their league. Or species.

Wasting no more time, JT took off running back toward the girl, ignoring everybody else around him. Closing the gap between them with great speed, he suddenly reached down and placed his right palm against the ground while in mid-run. Using the three point stance the way an Olympic sprinter takes off from the blocks, he lunged forward low and hard, at a height about equal to the girl's waist. JT planned to simply ram through the missy, shoulder driving through the gut and taking both of them down in one massive collision. It was a brutal, simple attack that often caught opponents off guard with its sudden change of direction. But would it catch her...?

She hoped to try to get into his mind. Anger him a bit to put more energy into attacks. JT looked like he had a bit on constitution in him, but everyone got tired, especially with the energy he was appearing to throw into attacks. He'd defeat himself, tiring himself out, while Ryorin's movements were quick, smooth, and easy. Almost no energy was spent in them.[/ul]

The missy was quite the talented dancer; she managed to tip-toe out of danger just before JT struck. Hitting nothing but air, JT nose dived into the ground but tucked his head in and instead rolled out smoothly with little damage taken. Clawing at the ground with his hands and feet, JT came to a skidding halt only a few feet away from where the girl had been standing. Her comment had fallen on deaf ears: JT couldn't care less what she thought. He was having too much fun. Coming to rest on all fours in a crouched position, JT looked directly at Shu and smiled a wide, toothy grin.

"Better run away or attack soon, 'cause dancing'll only get you dead slower!"

Taking a half second to process his last two attack results, JT determined that the girl probably wasn't going to fight back or make a serious move. She would keep dodging and side-stepping, wasting a perfectly good opportunity for playtime. Charging wasn't working...fine. Why not take it close and personal. Coming out of his crouch much like before, JT stepped in quickly. But unlike before, he reared up when he was within attacking range and let loose with a flurry of chaotic strikes.

Starting with a left jab followed by a right straight, JT would continue on with a rising left knee strike toward the stomach than a headbutt to the cranium. And so the onslaught would continue, strike after strike, punch after knee after snapping bite, until Shu ran off or decided to fight back. JT wasn't the brightest, or the fastest, or the strongest. But he was the toughest. Even while throwing most of his force into each strike, his energy levels would barely start to decrease. In a game of endurance, no one, NO ONE could outlast JT. The unlikely couple would be there for the next half hour until JT needed a break, that is if she continued to simply dodge.

Time to choose missy...shit or get off the pot...

"Heh, I don't plan on losing, not with something this easy."

The guy did have a point. Because of the fight between the two, the students that started the fight had started to ignore them. They were away from the mass riot that was going on. If Ryorin wanted to, with JT's speed being as slow as it was, Ryorin could easily hightail it out of there and get out without so much as breaking a sweat now. However, she stayed at the moment. She was curious. She kept a "Pull Switch" plan just incase she needed to hightail it out of there.

You know what that notice always says? In case of Emergency, Pull Switch. Yeah, that. A Pull Switch plan.

JT came again, but instead of doing like before, he reared up when he was in attacking range. Something different. Fine, Ryorin would do something different too. When his left jab came in, she dodged to the left, right into range of his right straight. Now, normally, Ryorin would've dodged to the right, outside of his attack and to the side of his body, and attack there, where it would normally be unguarded. It was a common was of attack for Ryorin, and with her speed it worked most of the time. But she felt the need to do something different. She wanted JT to throw more punches. JT might've been a tough person, but toughness could only get you so far in a fight. JT would quickly learn that.

His right straight came. She would fake moving right, back into the range of the left side of his body, but would instead move left, this time to the outside of JT's attack and body. By faking left, JT might go on with his next attack, especially if he already had his attack pattern set into his mind. By attacking an empty space, it would give Ryorin more time to execute attacks.

Now, if JT did follow up with his left knee, she quickly go down for a sweep against his right leg, in order to bring him down, something she'd take advantage of if it did work. However, if he did not strike with his knee, she'd send a quick left strike into JT's right side, at the lower part of his chest area, where the stomach wold be if she was attacking him dead on. JT was tough, but Ryorin was no feather. She worked on her strength for opponents like JT and while it may not seem like much, there was almost no chance if was going to cause him pain.

Anything else, she'd have to Wing It, something she was quite good at at times.[/ul]

True enough, JT isn't exactly a speed demon. He never did have much luck at the fast pitch in the batting cages. But what he lacked in movement he made up for with recognition. That is, recognition of what was happening and reacting accordingly. For instance, JT was already well into his attack pattern and threw the left rising knee without a moment's hesitation, which caused Shu to sidestep away from his body and attempt a sweep. JT saw all of this and anticipated the sweep coming but he was physically unable to move fast enough. Am you still with me? Good.

          Because that wasn't a problem.

The sweep hit dead on target and JT's right leg was lopped out from under him, sending his body into a free fall. However, he did have a reaction plan. As his body reached its peak of height and began crashing back down, he instinctively reached out with his right arm to grab a hold of Shu. Her hair, her head, an arm, anything he could grab, he'd lock onto. And then...she'd crash down too. Think of it as slamming a person's body down to the floor and coming along for the ride. It was an unusual, reflex move, and it was very unlikely given Shu's position after finishing the sweep that she could move out of the way fast enough. Jt would hit hard on his back, but so would Shu, hit hard that is.

It wouldn't be an especially damaging move, physically. At best her face would smack the tile, at worst she'd simply be brought to her knees a lil' harder than normal. But it would have a psychological effect, though JT wasn't aiming for it: it would prove the girl didn't have a true advantage. Faster maybe, but this move would show that JT didn't need the speed...he could catch her right in the act anyway. The blows might not be spectacular, but at the end of the day, JT's hide could hold firm. Could Shu's?

            "Oompphh!"

JT let out a gutteral, wind rushing groan as he slammed down hard into the floor, the small girl riding on top like Aladin riding his magic carpet. The hit was shocking and surprised JT with its ingenuity, but there simply wasn't enough weight behind it to do much more than stun him temporairly. If the girl had been a hundred pounds heavier, maybe a broken rib, but as she was...eh, maybe some nice bruising come the following morning.

Stunned for no more than a half breath, JT's blue-red, raging eyes flashed brighter. The missy was turning out to be a formidible opponent. The fight was heating up and JT was getting into his groove despite the several set backs. Following a similar pattern to before, JT used his outstretched arms as his main weapon. With Shu on top, JT brought his limbs in and would attempt to bear hug the lil' girl while she was still on top of him, and if he managed to catch her, he'd instantly lunge his jaws forward and attempt to take a chunk out of her neck. Hey, this a street fight, not a tourny. No rules honey!

If she happened to wriggle free or get up before hand, JT had the beginnings of a plan in place. He was quickly figuring out that he wouldn't be catching the girl any time soon. He'd have to bring her in. So if she got away from the bear hug, JT would purposely be a little slow on getting back to his feet. Slow enough that he'd be ready and focused for any aggressive move Shu might make. As far as Shu would know though, he'd be moving as fast as he could, after nursing that 'vicious' takedown.

A choke? Little miss sunshine was dirtier than JT thought. The forearm came suddenly, giving the blond no time to react. Locked in solid, JT felt his wind pipe closing down as air became harder and harder to come by. It was a wisely selected attack, but there were two things going against the girl. One, JT has been choked dozens of times in dozens of matches: losing the ability to breathe momentairily doesn't scare him like it might others. He would not panic. Two, and perhaps more importantly, the girl wasn't trying to kill him. Her desire wasn't behind the choke and JT, sometimes more animal than man, could sense that reluctance, that slight hint of holding back. JT no longer felt the anxiety, the weightlessness, that he had before while fighting. The girl was fast, she was smart...but she wasn't a killer. Not right now anyway. JT was. And that ferocity, that willingness to carry through, might just be his saving grace now.

Choking is a good technique. But the inherent flaw in a choke is that you must remain stationary, tied to the opponent. That's why most pro fighters go for chokes from behind, or around, or wrapped across the opponent's limbs, ways that minimize the chances of counter attack. Shu had left JT's arms open. And with one arm against his throat, that left her even more vulnerable. Gasping and gnashing his teeth to retain whatever airflow he could, JT attacked quickly and savagely.

Bringing both arms up simultaneously, he brought his hands towards the girl's face. Thumbs extended, the blond dog was aiming to gouge Shu's eyes right out of her head. He'd done it before to a man, he knew how. And he had every intention of doing so. There was little chance the girl could maintain the choke with her forearm and fend off two attacking arms at once. She'd either lose an eye (or eyes) staying where she was, or be forced off the top position, giving JT time to regain his footing.
