The following posts include miniature biographies for each of Allen Daughtry's Non-Player Characters, and will be updated based on what the character has learned about them over the course of his own history - meaning that any secrets or entire histories, let alone personality, will ever be entirely complete. Some NPCs have significant roles to Allen, while others may only be seen or used for particular events, so please keep this in mind.

    Appearance: A tall, well weighed adult, Timothy could be described as a much older form of his son, as much of the boy's physique derives from his father's genetics. He has strong, circular shoulders, a thin chest that shows signs of long-since-passed exercise regimens, moderate arms and thick, muscular legs. His hairline has only risen by a few inches over the years, and while his hair color has whitened over the years, a ghost of his old blond locks can still be seen, with his bright green eyes notable behind his thin spectacle. He is usually seen wearing formal attire, such as suits and polos, and only dresses down when it is necessary.

    Personality: Tim is perhaps, as his son has observed, the classic archetype of a calm, collected, and wise father figure, and essentially the young man's vision of what an intellectual father should be: supportive, loving enough that the child remembers such, respectful, and moral. Allen's father rarely ever shows anger or frustration, though it is not beyond him, and usually is seen with his rational expression when at home, work, or in public. He, like his son, holds logic and reasoning as his ideology, and also shares an immense desire for obtaining knowledge, and much like his son, sees the world in a positive light and believes in the innate good of humankind. As such, the old man has been a significant influence on his son over the years, and has been named "his hero."

    Occupation: Timothy Daughtry holds a Doctorate in the fields of Philosophy, World History and Political Science, and currently resides as a University Professor at George Washington University, in Washington D.C. Allen heard rumors prior to his departure from Philadelphia that his father was being offered the position so that he could secretly act as an advisor to a young and upcoming political figure, though he was not able to confirm it.

    Relationship to Allen: Timothy is the man's biological and behavioral father, having raised him alongside his biological mother Liana Gibbons since his birth, and on his own when Liana left the two behind. Tim has acted as Allen's mentor and foundation of confidence for years, and is solely responsible for shaping the "true" part of Allen Daughtry - as in his intellect, his ideals, and his innately good being. The two have always had a strong relationship, and the only reason Allen is no longer near his father was to avoid having a crime family threaten his life to blackmail Daughtry into work. Even now, Allen continues to keep tabs on his father, and hopes to reunite with his father soon.

    History: Beyond the same origins and experiences Allen learned about in his own youth, the boy knows relatively little about the details of his father's life. He knows that his father was born to his grandparents forty-nine years ago, and grew up in Massachusetts, but beyond that to the man's meeting with the boy's mother, little is known. Once Timothy met Liana Gibbons, his prestigious nineteen-year-old political science student turned lover and wife, the history is more notable, and the basics of Allen's knowledge can be seen in his own history.       Appearance: Allen's mother, as he remembered, could be just as beautiful as she was often serious - though, continuing the analogy, the boy would only notice his mother's striking features in the few instances that she was laughing. A healthy woman throughout her life, Ann obtains her hour glass figure relatively well, though it is all thanks to an exercising regimen that gives her stronger shoulders, toned legs and a slimmer abdomen - and to point out, Allen never understood why his mother exercised so rigorously, as she was far from a health fanatic. In terms of her facial definitions, Ann has an attractive combination of a smooth, curved chin and jawline, slightly gaunt cheeks, moderately spread forehead, thin eyebrows, long eyelashes, oval eyes, a small nose and puckered lips, with bright cerulean eyes - that she passed down to her son - and deep red hair that runs parallel to her neck. In terms of fashion, the boy's mother could often be seen in feminine suits or dresses, but did have an assorted collection of clothing outside of work that matched her age and position as a mother adequately.

      Personality: One of the earliest mysteries Allen Daughtry can remember pondering was in regards to why his mother frowned so often - and not in the same way his father would, or anyone would when upset. That statement alone acts as a sort of earmark for the woman known as Ann Daughtry: she was beautiful, she was smart, she was powerful in body and mind, and yet, she didn't seem happy. Granted, her mood seemed to pick up when around her husband or son, but when the boy saw her slip on her professional attire, he knew another woman was wearing his mother's face for those hour at the office. Beyond that, she was much like Allen tended to be: independent, fierce, determined, and absolutely certain of his judgments when they were made. Ann Daughtry also tended to have the same sharp tongue and glaring eye as the boy, and held a demeanor as if she stood alone in the world - and the only thing that mattered was her loving husband and darling son. Of course, in the boy's eyes later in life, that must not have mattered, since she left him and her husband for another man two years before.

      Relationship to Allen: As Allen's biological and behavioral mother, Ann once had a naturally close and loving relationship with her only son, and the boy adored her, regardless of her "quiet" demeanor. Yet, when Allen discovered that his mother was having an affair with her professional superior and left him during his self-imposed exile in Baltimore, he felt a great anger for that ultimate betrayal of trust and love, and has since despised her name and memories. Whenever someone asks him about his mother, he scoffs and ignores the question, and if pressed further, grows upset with the individual. An evident case of his rage against his mother can be seen with his habit of wearing sunglasses - while he has several reasons for wearing his signature shades at all times, the original purpose was so that Allen could hide himself from his cerulean eyes, as they reminded him of his mother every time he glanced through a mirror.

      History: Unfortunately, beyond his own history, Allen Daughtry knows next to little about his mother, and due to her attitude and her departure, he suspects that it could be a long while before he discovers the truth about her.[/color][/font][/ul]

        Appearance: Allen has always thought of Sparky as a person that can slip into a crowd without drawing attention to himself. Having dark features, an average height and no particularly defining physical traits, Jerry tends to claim to be "the average Joe." Of course, he says this in sarcasm, since he's anything but ordinary.

        Personality: In terms of social attitude, Sparky is similar to Allen in his vagrant use of sarcasm, withdrawn thoughts and a barrier of stronger, negative emotions to hide his true being. However, unlike Allen, Sparky is acting as true to himself publicly as he is internally; he is, without a doubt, completely natural in his hostile and abrasive way of life. However, he isn't without his soft and kind moments - they're just rare and difficult to notice.

        However, Sparky is trustworthy, and never betrays his customers and allies unless he has no other choice for his survival, or if they have wronged him in some way - and even then, he will regret the choice. Since Allen in also Sparky's closest ally, the chances of the man turning the thief over to the Police is highly unlikely. More so, Sparky does uphold a code of morals and ethics, as basic and flexible as they may be. He is an extroverted individual, and if he's not hiding away in his "lair" of an apartment at work during the day, he's out partying at night, and he never restrains himself when on the dance floor. It's nights like these that that the man somehow came to meet his on-and-off girlfriend Elaine "Shock" Summers.

        Skills and Talents: Sparky is a master of computer programming and network processing, with full understanding of the Windows and Macintosh systems, making him more than ideals for hacking any computational device. The man also has several contacts throughout the local regions of the city, allowing him to clue in on any event, and come to break down the best targets. In return for his services, Sparky is paid a respectable fee to pay for his cost of living.

        Relationship to Allen: So far, the "Cylon" and his "Fixer" have kept a simple business arrangement, considering Daughtry finds the man's habits to be dangerous and undesirable for friendship.

        History: Allen has yet to ask, nor care to, regarding Sparky's past.

          Appearance: As Allen has seen, Elaine dresses herself as something of a clean-cut, white-collar-destined girl straight out of the suburbs of the city. Of course, she's added her own touch, wearing a mini-skirt and a sleeveless collared shirt with a simple tie. She can usually be seen wearing her hair down past her lower back, though she does cut it short or tie it up on occasion, and often wears a small pair of glasses over her eyes, due to a preference. She almost always holds onto a formal "punk" style, wearing flashy scarves across plain suits, cutting up shirts to show skin with a blazer a top, or other changes.

          Personality: Daughtry has always felt a keen similarity to Elaine in her social strategy of holding up a "public shell" that is remarkably different from her own true persona - though, frankly, she is much easier to open emotionally than Daughtry ever was. Publicly, Elaine is easy-going, loud and energetic, with a great spectrum of faces: from proper and hard-working when around the college newsroom, to kind of loving with her parents and friends, and wild and risky when around Sparky and her party entourage. In her public phase, the girl tends to use her logic and mental control to restrain her reactions - until she's around Sparky, and then her id takes over, often with dangerous results.

          Due to her relationship with Sparky, Elaine has seen a great deal of shady things, since the older man lives in an entirely different world than her; one that is darker, gritter, and bloodier. Sparky has done well to keep her safe physically over the months, but she has been addicted to Ecstasy because of him, and nearly been caught by her adoptive parents twice, in which case the girl has broken off her relationship with Sparky each time, only to reconnect weeks later. This self-destructive process has brought a significant strain on the girl's mental health, as well as the stability of her life.

          Internally, the girl is similar to Allen in terms of his thought patterns, though with less darkness and more hope. Yet, she is far less confident than him, and finds herself desiring to unlock the one mystery she has always had in her life: who were her biological parents? Finding herself confused and uncertain about the world, the girl is not surprised that she is pursuing to become a reporter, as she has always desired to understand the events in the world. She, like Allen, wishes to collect knowledge; the only difference is how far she is willing to go.

          Relationship to Allen: Thus far, Allen Daughtry has only spoken with Elaine on a few occasions, though they were for extended durations. For the time being, the two are are on friendly terms, and Daughtry has flirted with the girl blatantly on occasion, yet finds himself feeling subconscious turn off from her and can't explain it. All the same, the two are merely friendly acquaintances, and Allen has made it his habit to watch her when he is around Sparky, as he doesn't trust his hacker with the girl's safety.

          History: From what Allen has heard and picked up, Elaine has been an adopted child for as long as she can remember, having found out she was not the biological child of her parents when she entered Middle School - and, apparently, finding out by accident, as she came across them when searching for an old document of her father's. Her adoptive parents - a successful doctor for a mother and a schoolteacher as a father - are loving and take care of her, but have not been able to inform her of what her biological parents were like, as she had been left at a hospital one night without a caretaker, merely a note, "Name her Alaska." Her parents declined, as they wanted their child to have their name, but after learning about the story, Elaine immediately demanded that her middle name be changed to the request for the sake of honoring her biological parents.

          Beyond that, the girl has led a normal and carefree life, until meting Sparky anyways. Since entering college two years ago, the girl's life has grown increasingly turbulent, and Daughtry suspects that she could crash and burn if no one watches out for her. And with parents that are ignorant of the problems and a boyfriend that is too clueless to notice them, Daughtry has taken it upon himself to take the role, out of a strange feeling of protecting her.[/color][/font][/ul]

            Appearance: Kruger has never been one for acceptance by other human beings, but is no fool, and understands the advantages in dressing sharply. In public, the man can be seen wearing stylish suits and formal attire, or elaborate jackets and assorted equipment. Keeping his hair cut at a short length most often, Alain wears sunglasses or glasses when seen by others, and contacts when "at work."

            Personality: So far, Allen has only seen Kruger in combat, yet the man's clear reliance on his instincts and emotions for power and strength give indication of just how different he is from Daughtry. An evident sociopath, Alain is only interested in making his own life more satisfying - any way possible.

            Equipment:Alain Kruger, as an "assassin for hire," takes on several positions in a rag-team group: mercenary soldier, hitman, burglar, and beyond. Along with his assorted equipment of flash bangs, binoculars, poison and other objects, Kruger carries three weapons on his person at all times: his long sword, his folding knives, and his 9mm CZ901 handgun.

            Relationship to Allen: Since Kruger had been one of the mercenaries under "Ivan's" command to eliminate Gabe Ember, the battle between Allen and Alain has been purely for the sake of separate agreements. However, Allen not only defeated Alain and left him for dead, but stole the man's longsword as a trophy, making the surviving hitman desire revenge.

            History: As of yet, Daughtry knows little about the man.[/color][/font][/ul]

              Appearance: A middle-aged attorney with no family and little care for how he's seen outside of the courthouse, Robert is usually seen dressing down before up. At home, he takes every advantage to wear his pajamas in private for comfort's sake, but during the day and whenever he has to venture into the city, he jumps into a pair of loose khakis and an old polo shirt with worn brown shoes and fails to brush his hair or shave his beard. Before a case, he is usually seen in an old blue blazer, a denim button up and dark slacks with tennis shoes, a week old beard and messy hair. Inside of court, however, his appearance takes a radical flip, as he is formally dressed in the best suit he can afford, clean shaven and promptly combed, with an incredible vigor and no sign of his usual lethargy whatsoever.

              Yet, there are two accessories that make Robert unique, both inside and out of court. Virtually everywhere he goes, Shepard is seen wearing a pair of glasses with ebony-tinted lenses, and a four-legged cane. Both items are a mystery, as Shepard admits to his colleagues and clients that he has no eye problems or limp at all. Yet he fails to ever explain why he uses either item.

              Personality: If there is one thing Allen has noticed about Robert Shepard, it is his vagrant level of cynical pessimism. From their first meeting, "Cane" was known to make constant references toward the suffering and darkness of the human race, often deciding that the only way to solve a significant problem was through extreme means. He is blunt about the truths of the world, no matter how cruel they can be, and often adds something of dark humor to the mix as well. Yet, he is extremely intelligent, and clearly not to be underestimated, nor misinterpreted.

              Relationship to Allen: So far, Robert has acted as Allen's "director" in regards to his dark path of vigilante assassinations. He supplies Daughtry with potential criminals that have reached a point where they can no longer be forgiven, and Allen acts as the executioner. So far, Daughtry is cautious to trust him, and always does a background check of his own on the targets, yet for now, he is satisfied with the transaction, though clearly disturbed.
