Aleece wouldn’t be what you call…sneaky, or hell even stealthy at best she was a bit clumsy tripping a little in the dips and tuffs of grass in the courtyard as she pulled her black hoodie a little lower on her head. Her dark brown hair spilled out of the confides of the cotton hood as she hurried along however unrefined in her ninja like skills, she did it quietly.
It was after lights out and she should have been in bed, but there were times, when you’re up late, then out of no where you were just get hit with the weirdest cravings and of course…you never actually have it. So it was brought the rule abiding Knox student out of bed dressed like she was ready to cat burglar somebody’s house.
Sneaking past the sentry post was easy enough but Aleece didn’t want to even think how she was going to get back in. She was single mindedly focused on sugar. Something that would leave her wired for hours and make her crash like a ton of bricks after that in a comatose state.
Shoving her hands into her skinny black jeans she made her way down the night life filled streets of Chula Vista and to the nearest convenient store she could find. Pushing the door open she made her way to the most unhealthy looking isle in the whole place and started to browse the assorted brand name fat, and carb loaded products the place had to offer.
Junk food…just what the doctor ordered for a night filled with making an absolute pig of herself. It looked like she randomly picked up a few things but really they had an order, firstly what she would want to eat and which ones would be good before what snack. Really there was a system to it all…

Ryker had an easier time leaving his dorm than kids from Knox did, but that didn't keep Kiet from looking like Ryker was heading out to eviscerate someone like Jack-The-Ripper or something. All the same he needed some food and there was only a candy bar that Kiet had decided to eat before going to bed, leaving Ryker no option but to wander out with a couple bucks in his pocket.
There was a place fairly close to the school, so he pulled on a hooded sweatshirt and headed out in his sleeping pants, a dark blue pair of think cotton pants, not giving two craps that he had no shirt under his sweatshirt, or boxers under his pants. He was hungry and he wasn't naked, damn it all.
And so he stepped into the store and wandered straight to the junk food. He hungrily looked over the classics, like Twinkies, and reached out to grab some food, only to find his hand wrapped around the think wrist of a girl, tugging it out of the way to snatch up the last Twinkies. It was only after that he realized what he did, and it showed in confusion for a brief moment.
"Oh, shit, sorry. My stomach thinks faster than my brain."
The only thing besides cockroaches that would survive a nuclear blast and still be the best damn man made product since the invention of sliced bread. She was just going to reach for one, of course the section held one last yellow, cream filled cellophane wrapped goodness when she found a hand encircling her wrist strongly but not in a bruising way. Aleece was a little to shocked to say something for a minute as she followed the arm up to the face of the guy who obviously had no qualms of touching strangers.
Raising an eyebrow she straightened herself a bit when he finally realized what he had done and her eyes fell back down to her wrist which he had neglected to let go of. When she met the guys gaze again she listened out his apology with a small smile.
“No big deal,” she said slowly pulling her wrist a little in his grasp just enough for him to go ahead and get the hint. “I can certainly understand the need to feed…”
She gestured to the arm load pressed against her chest at the moment, they were mostly dollar candies, peach rings, Swedish fish, orange gummy slices and a bag of plan salted peanuts. Aleece was apparently on the a chewier kick for her late night snack fest.

He blinked and then remembered that he still had the wrist, only because the girl gave a slight tug on his grip. He released her without comment, a sheepish smile displayed as he gave a small nod. "Yeah, you seem to have quite the sweet tooth yourself." Ryker glanced openly at the candies she had pressed against her chest, unsure if the girl realized she had basically just offered him a shame-free glance at her rack.
Shrugging he turned back to his pastries, which for once in his life he was more interested in. Although as he glanced over the rack, picking out the things he was considering snatching up, he realized him and girls didn't exactly go together hand in hand. The last girl he talked too for more than two minutes was doing so because he had been stabbed.
Shaking away the thought he grabbed several things. "Creme-Filled Chocolate Cupcake, check. Devil Cremes® Cake, check. Frosted Fudge Cake, check. Swiss Cake Rolls, check." He was impressed and packed them all into his the stomach pocket of his sweatshirt, not intending to steal them, he just wanted to put them there so he didn't have to carry them.
"This doesn't seem to be a regular habit for you, your not nearly fat enough for this to be anightly occurrence. Get a sweat tooth or something?" Ryker asked as he stepped behind her, having left the nuclear holocaust surviving Twinkies for her as he headed to the back to grab a caffeine free soda.
Aleece merely nodded at his sweet tooth comment, “yeah you can say that.”
When he looked like he was more interested in getting his own unhealthy haul of goodies she noticed that he replaced the Twinkie and with a grin she picked it up going fore the beef jerky next. This was a serious night of junking after all and she needed that salty along with the sweet. Some Cheese dip and Cool Ranch Doritos later and she was pretty much done along with the large bottle of water she was set to check out.
Juggling the precarious stack of goods in her hands she was about to turn when his voice behind her was enough to startle her around and her eyes followed him as he went to the cooler to grab a soda. Taking a few steps forward she had noticed through a couple of subtle glances that he had been stuffing his purchases in his hoodie pockets. Well she didn’t think he was going to steal any of it especially since he was making no effort to hide the fact in view of the store worker and if her own hoodie wasn’t as small as it was she’d probably be doing the same.
“Well thanks I guess, and yeah...guilty little pleasure,” she said to the guy when he said she wasn’t nearly fat enough to do this all the time. Aleece was sure that it was a slight on her part but she brushed it off, she knew she wasn’t model perfect after all.
Turning to the check out she dumped her things on the small counter and raised an eyebrow when the scrote bag behind the counter gave her a incredulous look before giving her a once over.
“This gonna be it?”
She wasn’t sure about his tone but something behind it sounded like he wanted to add, I think you missed some M&M’s back there..
“Yeah…that’s it…” she said a little slowly before pulling out the couple of twenties in her back pocket, and handing it over when she was totaled up. Grabbing the two bags she stepped out of the way so someone else could check out and put a bag down so she could restuff the money in her pocket.
"Why does pleasure make you guilty?" He said, too tired to catch on that it was just a turn of phrase.
Ryker pulled out an orange soda, one of the few things he could find without caffeine in it. There was other things of course, but nothing that he liked enough to drink without getting some kind of boost. So instead of just focused on the simple taste, and he was already drinking it when he came up to the counter.
For once his appetite was actually countered by someone smaller than him. But he wouldn't know this for sure until after he emptied his pockets, having been watched closely by the clerk he didn't have to turn them inside out, and placed the soda on the counter too. As it was being tallied Ryker leaned to his right, glancing in the bag as the girl worked money into her pocket.
"Damn. You know what, I got a challenge for you. I bet that you won't eat all that in one sitting, just pick at one and then another, and so on." He was pulled back by a rough tug on his shoulder, jerking him upright. Ryker felt dizzy for the moment and steadied himself against the counter, scowling.
"Money."
"Oh, right." Ryker fished his hand into his pocket, and frowned as he searched though the change, and pulled out his cash. He paid in exact change fairly quickly, his mathematics running through pretty well considering the time of night. "There. No bag." Ryker started shuffling the items back into his pocket and grabbed his drink, wandering out of the store and tried to decide if he wanted to walk back to school or just loiter and eat in front of the shop.
Aleece snorted and grinned at the guy as he shamelessly just eyed up her goods and presented that challege to her. Well she would take that bet because she hadn’t planned on keeping the stuff around in her dorm, actually she hadn’t planned on taking them back with her so…
When she was done situating herself she followed the guy out and titled her chin up somewhat defiantly. “Your on,” she said with a grin on her face. She had been conditioned in the art of junk food eating, she could pack away two double cheeseburgers and a large fry she could eat what she had here…sure she’d be hurting in the morning as she ran all of it off, but she could do it. Stopping short of just outside the store she bent down again and fished through all the plastic wrapped processed food and pulled out the Twinkie.
Unwrapping it she torn it in half and still squatted down she held up one half to him. Aleece wasn’t heading back until all of this food was gone one way or another anyways and what better way then to loiter in front of the store she had just bought out of to do it. She really had planned to go to the park just up a head and do it there but this was probably more preferable. Waving the halved Twinkie in between her fingers she grinned a bit more.
“What? Afraid you’ll get out eaten by a girl?” She half taunted half teased and waited for him to take the bait either seriously or in good nature like she intended.

Ryker had made a point hold the door open for the girl as she had followed him out of the store, and once outside she tilted her chin up and gave him a defiant challenge. He blinked and then remembered that he bet she couldn't eat it all in one sitting, so he nodded and went next to her against the outside of the door, sliding down the wall and resting against it.
Loitering is fun kids, do it, the cops are nice in California, pinkie swear.
When the half of a Twinkle was waved front of him he briefly wondered if what she was doing was comparable to trashing around a bleeding leg in shark infested waters. Well, she would find out because like a shark his mouth moved faster than his brain. He leaned forward and snapped his jaws just between her fingers, pulling back and chewing.
After swallowing he blinked and laughed (at what I expect to be a shocked expression) and fished his hand into his sweatshirt's stomach pocket, pulling out a Swiss Roll box and pulled out one of them, not having any problem with taking the challenge. "That mean we're splitting everything, or just finishing what we bought ourselvs?"
Aleece really had no chance to jerk back when the guy now next to her chomped the Twinkie right out between her fingers and she couldn't stop the slightly owlish look that passed over her features. When he laughed though her slightly parted lips curved up into a smile and she shook her head, stuffing her half of the treat into her mouth.
When she swallowed she watched him pull out a box of Swiss Rolls and ask his question. With a thoughtful hum she pulled the Monster Tabasco Slim Jim from her bag and tore the plastic down the large stick of meat.
“Well to be fair I’m going to say finish what we bought ourselves,” grinning a little she took a bite off the end of her snack and winked at the guy, “don’t worry I’ll finish whatever you won’t be able to.”
What a way to challenge someone, she thought to herself, not in a fight or a brawl but in a eating contest. Laughing to herself she steadily continued to eat the spicy slim jim as she did digging around in one of her bags until she found the bottle of water she had gotten.
« Last Edit: Oct 15, 2009 8:30:56 GMT -6 by aleeca »
Ryker pulled out the plastic wrapping and pulled it open with a single firm jerk, and slipped his fingers in while he glanced to the side and watched her pull out a Slim Jim. If there was one food he hated eating it was jerky. Sure he knew a lot of people liked it, that it lasted forever, and that it was pack full of shit that people claimed they loved. That didn't keep him from avoiding it like a vampire fleeing Venice.
He hid that and pulled out one of the rolls, twisting it around as he watched with horror as she bit off part of the jerky. His shoulders shuddered and tensed, but distracted himself by glancing off and biting the end of the roll, practically purring as the sweat flavor bathed his tongue.
Show that their tastes were pretty different he seemed much more interested in just finishing off the roll one small bite after another, letting it practically melt on his tongue before he would bother chewing and swallowing, and then would take his next bite and have the whole thing stuffed in his mouth, chewing with his cheeks puffed slightly.
With his mouth stuffed he spoke, although he was looking away and his lips barely opened. "Fckinng 'ate swem jems."
She was halfway through her slim jim when his muffled mouth food comment came. Looking at him she titled her head as she put the snack down and grabbed her water her head titling curiously before taking a long drink then recapping her bottle. Putting the plastic container down she hung an arm over her knee raising an eyebrow.
“Sorry I only speak English and on good day, Spanish, so that? I didn’t get,” she said obviously teasing turning back to her purchases with the spicy meat half gone she wanted something more salty with no after bite so she pulled out the ninety nine cent bag of Doritos and the two small Frito cheese dip cans, pulling the tab on top to open it. When Aleece was able to get the bag open with using her hand and teeth to pry the blue bag easily.
Usually she wouldn’t bother with making such a pig of herself in front of others, but when she got the urge to chow down she didn’t necessarily care who was around to see her. Situating everything for easy access the now open chips in her plastic store bag and the open cheese in her hand she went to dipping, overloaded with the goodness that was fake cheese…
She realized all of this was enough to give the average human a coronary or turn them into the human blob but she tackled it all with the skill of a seasoned speed eater, just not as fast.
Ryker turned his head back, having swallowed half of his treat already, making his cheeks look more normal, although the muscles in his jaw working hard as he shifted the sweetness around his mouth he looked quite content not to talk. But his brow had jerked up at her teasing, and he just shrugged and dropped his head back against the wall, quiet until he swallowed it down.
Spanish huh?
"Odio la carne maldita desigual..." He doubted that he remembered it perfectly, but he had said the same thing to someone before, he just wondered if he used the right words. It was hard to pull up the language from the recesses of his mind, and he focused on it while he was chewing. It was hard to learn a new language, unless you spend six months to a year trapped in the culture with no choice but to learn. But on the same hand after not using it for years it started to fade.
"In case this isn't a good day, I said I hate jerky." Ryker stared at the item with disdain, and leaned back a little, his brow knitted as he lifted his orange soda from the sidewalk and tilted his head back, sipping slightly at one of his favorite sodas of all time. The only soda that was better actually came from South America. Fanta, sure people heard of it, probably had it, but they never had it FROM South America, where they put glorious Cane Sugar in it.
Aleece held off a snort and the little laugh that wanted to bubble up when he spoke Spanish to her. His dialect was horrible and while she would probably be looked at funny if she went to her parents home in Chile, he had still butchered it completely. She could be pinpointed for using spanglish most times usually getting chastised by her mother or made fun of by her brother. She understood it for the most part as she grinned and stuffed a cheese-covered chip in her mouth again and swallowed.
“Yeah I got what you said,” she said not bothering with speaking back to him Spanish. She was here not in her home and she firmly believed speaking English where she was born and brought up took precedence over her second language.
“So why do you hate slim jim’s so much? Have a particularly bad experience with one once?” Aleece asked actually curious. Usually jerky was a universally well liked snack/food, it preserved and held well, had a long shelf life and not to mention was just tasty all around.
Ryker glanced over and noticed she was grinning at his use of Spanish, he suspected he butchered it but he obviously got his point across. The most pointless conversation in history was struck up as he bit off another half of his late night heart attack snack, speaking with his mouth half full, making his tone muffled.
"They can be decades old and still be edible, The only thing that should last that long are Twinkies, and if you ever went camping with my dad for a week and live off jerky for every fucking meal you'd hate the hell out of them right along with me."
He swallowed down, having used his talking to chew, and after this he chuckled pressed his shoulders against the wall, enjoying the chill it offered in the warm night air. "Besides, why eat them when you can have pastries?"
“I see,” Aleece said with enough sympathy as she continued to eat finding herself soon scraping the sides of the small can to get enough cheese. Throwing it to the open plastic bag by her feet she leaned back against the wall as well licking her fingers clean of the cool ranch season when she swallowed her last bite.
“And really you gotta have a wider range for junk food then just sweets.” Gesturing to her bag she explained, “like me for instance: you start with something spicy, maybe not jerky but something that has a real kick to it, like ah…hot peanuts, or Andy’s hot fries. Then you want to move onto something that will extinguish the heat but keep it salty, now you don’t want eat it all on the first go. Save at least half of it for a second round.”
Aleece at this point although she couldn’t be any more serious was having a time of it and giving the stranger a half grin as she went.
“Its then you move on to the sweets,” and as if to make a point she pulled out the peach rings and tore the plastic open by biting a little notch on the side and pulling. “But see there is a whole different level when it comes to the sweets category, there’s your sour sweet, then just sweet sweets. Your gummies and the pastries, crème filled, and cookies. All making up for whatever sweet tooth you’ve got. Not to mention...there's the salty and sweet combination before all of that starts right back over.”
Looking over to him she popped one of the orange and peach sour rings into her mouth and chewed. “I’ve got a PhD in Junk Food, so recognize,” she said before laughing, her head tipping back a little. Holding out her hand after she wiped her fingers along her black skinny jeans she thought it best to go ahead and introduce herself. “Aleece by the way, nice to meet a fellow junkie.”
Ryker was fairly drawn into the junk food junkie 101 talk that she delved into, instructing him ont he different types and how to eat them in the proper order. He was listening while he polished off the last of his swiss rolls, and crushed the box in his hand and tossed it over her head, the outdoor trashcan that she avoided using he would, not like he had pockets in his sleeper pants.
Speaking of which, his ass was cold. I thought you should know.
When she finally came to the end she laughed after declaring she had a PhD in Junk Food, and he grinned, chortling along with her as he raises his brow. Unafraid of whatever was left on her fingers he reached out with his left hand and noded to her. "Ryker, and I'm just student in Junk Food classes."
He explained while he pulled out his next snack cake, not worried that he still only had sweets because he was still a beginner to the routine, and he was more than happy to just focus just on what he had bought. "Strict parents, junk food was rare, I'm making up for it."
“Nice to meet you Ryker,” she said with a grin and continued to eat, not finding it hard to devour the fun little ‘O’ shaped candy. She hooked one of the end of her finger as she chewed at her leisure what was in her mouth nodding when he said he had rather strict parents.
There was always something in her parents house that could be considered unhealthy because her dad had a soft spot for those little Mrs. Baird’s cherry pie’s, her brother liked Chocolate chip Mini Muffins, and her sister would die (she thought) without peanut butter M&M’s. Lifting her hand she caught the round ring of soured sugar in her teeth and pulled.
“Well its certainly understandable that you would want to catch up,” she agreed as she nibbled on the candy, “I mean junk food I personally believe should be on the food pyramid as a daily essential group, at least four servings a day.”
Pushing the rest of it in her mouth went for her water as she finished up her mouth full. The sour crystals spreading over her taste buds were enough to quirk her jaw but that was what she loved about this particular treat. Looking at the guy out of the corner of her eye she noticed he wasn’t kidding that he was making up for lost time and she hand to feel a bit sympathetic…to be deprived of the life giving daily supplement that was junk….
Ryker raised his brow slightly and then shrugged, she seemed to be a pretty happy junk food junkie, which he supposed he shouldn't have found all that surprising, but it seemed like most of the people around Chula Vista were either angry or withdrawn, and to find someone who wasn't either was pleasant by surprising.
"Four servings a day? Even my metabolism couldn't survive that without turning into a balloon."
He stretched his arms above his head and yawned, joints stretching and releasing some of their tension. While cold in the warm night he was feeling more and more tired, it was his hard to blame him with the time of night and the fact he would sleep best in the cold. He shook it away as hard as he could and took a quick swig of his soda before he moved back to his pastry based snack.
"But I bet I can catch up," He spoke between bites.
Aleeca laughed and nodded at his observation of the recommended servings she had said and she looked at him as she opened the package of red colored fish. “Well that’s what exercise is for,” she countered as she first bit the head off the shaped candy then the tail before getting down to the middle.
Consequently she wasn’t tired at this point, she hadn’t been when she left her dorm, but now that she had a room mate that was hard core military brat G.I. Jane style gunner she couldn’t stay up with the lights on or do what ever she wanted like when she was by herself. Sighing Aleece continued to stuff the candy in her mouth almost mindlessly. It was almost inconvenient that she would have to buy her junk and eat it out here, but at least she had company as she made a pig of herself. And this guy…sure was packing it away rather quickly.
Smiling at him she shook her head, “I bet you can catch up at that rate.”
Really the fact that he wasn’t using any manners around her didn’t bother her, she found it oddly amusing and liked that he wasn’t hitting on her. Reaching for her water Aleece paused in her own eating to take a long swing and rest her jaw. She loved to eat no doubt, but she got so tired of chewing especially chewy things.
“So are you a student of the collective?” She suddenly asked just to keep the conversation from lulling while it was nice to sit in peace and eat, she didn’t want to leave it in a position to possibly become awkward.
"Well I do more than enough of that already. Especially now that my roommate picked up a punching bag."
Both of them became wrapped up in their individual impending heart attacks, stuffing themselves quietly in front of the store. He was surprised the guy inside didn't come out and kick them away from his store, or call the cops for truancy, but it seemed like he was more interested in keeping customers than what two kids did at night.
Ryker was fully aware that there was a cute girl sitting next to him with a similar appetite for junk food, but he just wasn't the normal kind of guy when it came to girls. Sure he liked girls, even had a date or two at previous school, but he didn't flirt or hit on them. He was just himself, and if they liked him for that and he felt the same he would ask them out, usually out of the blue. The usual result of this was him doing push ups in a dark room with rock music blaring, contemplating how crushed he felt, but he never thought about changing.
"Collective?" He asked with a yawn, rubbing his forehead with the heel of his palm between foods, wondering if he should smack himself to wake up a bit. "Oh, yeah. Fremont or whatever. I've been trying to decide if it's better or worse than Juvi."
Looking over at the guy she crumbled the empty bag she had just finished, trashed the cellophane then reached for the gummy orange slices along with the bag of peanuts she had picked out. Grinning a bit she raised an eyebrow. “Juvi huh? So I’m snacking with a regular delinquent?”
Laughing softly she opened both purchases and went to eating them, popping one of the orange wedges in her mouth before chasing it with a handful of nuts. It was a bit for even her and Aleece had to wash it down with a gulp of water after a moment of chewing. “But I gotta agree this place certainly isn’t like anything I’ve experienced before,” she said thoughtfully as she stuffed her mouth again, “Knox by the way.”
She usually didn’t speak with her mouth full but she did it this time without thinking. Maybe it was her lax company at the moment, after all she found that she fed off most people she was around in some way, usually finding a way to get comfortable around someone. And it was rare for that not to happen.
Despite all that she didn't conform with the rift between Fremont and Knox, hell she knew more people from Fremont (and got along with them) the she did her own school.
« Last Edit: Jun 16, 2009 16:40:01 GMT -6 by aleeca »
Ryker proved that he had no fear or shame about talking over his Juvi time. She didn't seem to be all that worried about it either, she just laughed about it and started eating again. So he shrugged and went on to yet another food. "Delinquent, depends on who you ask."
She seemed to agree that she wasn't used to the place. "Knox huh? I wouldn't do well there, I can barely handle Freemont. Too many assholes trying to crush me into some mold." That's how he had been feeling for a while, and it was just bugging him more and more.
"I just got here recently. As far as I'm concerned damn near everyone I run into is an asshole. Expect you, so far."
Aleece couldn’t hold back the laugh at that. All in all she tried not to be an…asshole as Ryker put it. “Yeah I can’t fight for anything,” she said taking a drink and clearing her throat. “So if I gave someone reason to want to fight me I couldn’t back it up. Why not just be a pleasant person and avoid it?”
Ducking her head down she ate a few just plain peanuts noticing her stash was dwindling, and she was hardly full, maybe she’d indulge in an Icee.
“I mean really though,” she gestured to herself, “I do look rather ordinary don’t you think? I mean, unless someone wants to digress into grade school mentality and pick on me because I’m the nerdy one and demand my lunch money…I’m pretty well left alone. I guess I’m pretty lucky that way.”
The guy was obviously built in that fight way, he just looked like he would have taken a couple hits and dealt plenty. Around here there was no surprise anymore who fought who and for whatever reason. Slowly Aleece gave him a once over and raised an eyebrow.
“Maybe people just think you will want to fight,” with a shrug she pushed another orange slice in her mouth. “But who knows. I’m not a guy so I don’t get the whole lets duke it out because I think your rubber dick is bigger then mine thing.”
Laughing to herself she chewed her bit slowly, not really serious in her assumption and hoping that he wouldn’t take offense to it.
« Last Edit: Oct 15, 2009 8:44:43 GMT -6 by aleeca »
Ryker thought about her comment for a moment and then shrugged. "Well not many people will beat up a girl that doesn't look like a fighter. And even then they usually avoid it, at least in my experience."
There was another question, she gestured to herself and he leaned forward to see her. She had a healthy frame, although she was shorter than him from what he could tell while sitting, and he wondered if she was too thin, from what he could tell with her clothes on.
"Yeah, you don't look like you're a solider. What branch are you hoping to get to through Knox?" Ryker glanced back at himself and cracked his neck with a quick jerk to his shoulder, sighing.after. "Well if they think I want to fight they are projecting, I just seem to be an asshole magnet. It's genetic, or so I'm told."
Shaking her head she turned the bag of nuts up and empties the rest in her mouth and she listened to Ryker as he went on. Aleece didn’t know how many guys would actually avoid fighting a girl but she supposed they were out there, the ones with out the hangs up to fight another guy but thought girls were to fragile to go toe to toe. Now she wasn’t a feminist more power to the ones that could or couldn’t, or hell even the ones that wouldn’t.
She just happened to not care either way and as she chewed thoughtfully she was rattled back to her company when he asked her a question, making his observations that she didn’t look like a soldier. Laughing softly to herself she nodded, “well its because I’m not…well not really. I’m going to go into the Air Force when I graduate.” Possibly she added silently.
She didn’t know what the next couple years held that included surviving the rest of this one.
Grinning though after she tipped her head back and sent him a side long glance, really the next words out of her mouth would have been affected had she at least looked offended, “well apparently you aren’t a complete asshole magnet.”
Smiling sweetly Aleece batted her eyes lashes before laughing again, “I’d like to think that I’m no such thing, rather a charismatic, charming and sweet individual.”
She was kidding of course but she didn’t think she was so bad, she’d obviously met worse
