It was a nice sunny, breezy Saturday after noon. The beginning of Summer or late spring on how you looked at it and everyone was out doing whatever they pleased. The parks were packed, and most importantly the beaches were packed. Today was the day Roth's old boating instructor drove his boat down the west coastline to Chula Vista for him The last school Roth was at was way up in Seattle. A long trip from Washington, but at least Roth finally had his beloved boat back and for a cheap price too. 500 bucks to get the boat down including the gas money which was pretty high these days.
Roth was wearing a black T shirt and a pair of black swim trunks with a white trim design they were only a year or two old. Roth was waiting at the end of the docks in his rented space of the Chula Vista Marina, waiting for his boat to come in. After about fifteen minutes of waiting he saw his boat come in with Old Johnny, his old as hell boating instructor.
"Hey, Johnny! Good to see ya man, how was the trip?" Roth shouted out to the boat as Old Johnny threw him the rope to tie the boat down to the docking space. Old Johnny was an old Hawaiian man made in the 50's. He eventually because Capitan of the Washington Coast guard, and retired become a private boating instructor. He was well built and pretty ripped and had long gray wavy hair and a small goatee.
"Yo! Roth the Goth! It's good to see you too man. The trip was good, we hit a bit of bad weather, but this here beauty took it damn well." Old Johnny jumped off the boat on to the docks as Roth finished tying down the boat. The two shook hands, bumped shoulders and gave a warm hug before they started to shoot the breeze for a while.
"Hey what do you mean when you kept saying 'we'?" Roth asked as Old Johnny as he jumped onto the boat from the docks. Roth thought he had come alone, but he guessed he either brought a friends, animal, or what would be his fourth wife with him.
"Oh, thats right, you haven't met him yet." Old Johnny climbed back onto the boat with Roth pulling up a small dog, a Boston Terrier puppy of 5 or 6 months. "This here is Carlos, I found him in the water on a small makeshift raft, it looked as if some kid was playing sailor, but he got real far from the shore so I took him along and made him the second part of your goodbye from Washington present." Old Johnny picked up the dog and tossed him to Roth, and luckily caught the small dog, Johnny was always a bit reckless with everything he did.
"Wait, second part of my present. What the hell are you talking about?" Roth asked as Old johnny tossed out a leash for Carlos. Roth hooked him up and started to follow johnny down the docks as all three of them got off the boat. Both of them remained silent as Johnny held a smirk on his face, and Roth was curious to find out if he was going senile.
"Well, if the guys on the phone did it right it should be right here. Happy goodbye from Washington Roth!" Johnny yelled out to Roth as he turned the corner. Roth could tell he had been drinking a few on his way down, and Roth expected nothing more. As Roth turned the corner his jaw nearly dropped at the sight. It was a red and black 09 bran spank'in new Yamaha FX Cruiser SHO jet ski. Roth turned to Johnny and then to the jet ski bewildered with excitement.
"Holy shit man. T-Thats awesome! Holy crap, how'd the hell you get the money for this thing!?" Roth was shouting in excitement as he stared at it long and hard. It's curves were long and it glowed beautifully in the afternoon sun light. Roth couldn't believe what his eyes were showing him.
"Er..well the money part isn't important. Just now that this thing is under your name and I had it put under the same insurance plan as your boat." Old Johnny smiled as Roth gazed at the new Jet ski. While he was distracted Johnny snuck away from the docks and went off to find a way back up to Washington. He was never the kind of person to say a long good bye.
Roth looked in amazement and took him a few minutes to realize that Old Johnny had left. Roth looked over on it and found the gas tank was empty. Roth would have to save it for when he could fill it. Roth made his way up the docks and threw himself and Carlos onto his boat and made his way out into the San Diego Bay. Johnny had fulled stocked it with gas, some food, maps of the Southern California coast, and unfortunately a few empty beer cans that Roth stashed in the back out of sight. DUI still counted while on a boat.
Roth decided to make some friends and drive up to one of the more popular beaches of Chula Vista where the Collective students hung out. There was quite a few people there. Roth pulled up to the beach still in the water where he wouldn't hit anything or anyone. Roth looked around as many people began to take notice. (placement and type of boat: img526.imageshack.us/img526/8144/129795771ioqiqafs.jpg
"I'm on a boat! Now who wants a free ride around the beach!?" Roth yelled out to all the beach going Collective students. Roth took a nice long look up to the sky to see not a single cloud in sight. A perfect day to own a boat.
Luli was attempting one more try and relaxing on the beach of course it wasn’t during school hours and the place was relatively packed. She could feel herself growing more agitated with every screaming…yelling…crying…fucking kid that ran past her towel. Not even the iPod in her ear turned all the way up could keep it all out and from behind the large dark tinted black avatar sunglasses her eye actually twitched.
This was a bad idea.
The couple weeks it had taken for the bruising to go away from her last trip to the beach turned bloody brawl had finally disappeared, only a faint white trace on her arm and lip to show for it. The black Bandeau one piece she wore to replace the ruined one from her last beach trip left not much to the imagination. She was thin enough to pull the whole look off. Luli was about to get up and call it a day when she noticed a boat trolling close to the shallows and as she sat up fully she pulled down her sunglasses a bit to see some guy.
Barely over everything she could hear what he said. "I'm on a boat! Now who wants a free ride around the beach!?"
Well she didn’t need anymore incentive then that did she, the chance to possibly get off this beach and to a more peaceful alone place, and with a free ride there. With a grin Luli was up stuffing her towel in her bag and placing her shoes along with the suntan lotion. She brushed past a kid that ran and was almost tempted to push the little fucker over.
So annoying.
It didn’t matter that she didn’t know the guy in the boat she wanted out of here, pronto. Pushing her glasses up she ignored the chill the cool waters sent up her legs as she waded in and about thigh deep just a bit away from the boat. Placing a hand on her hip the bag on her narrow bare shoulder she grinned up at the guy.
“Hey!” Her full lips turned up even more, figuring it would be a good thing to be nice for now, but if the guy got a little hands on he’d find himself taking a nice dip…
How exactly would you expect Luli to get to a beach most, if not all, of the time? Especially after she got into a fight with some beach bitch after she finally got there with someone other than him. He wasn't all that put off, while her new swim suit was damn attractive it wasn't the skimpiest thing he'd caught her in.
For himself there was just a pair of trunks that rested tightly to his hips as he spent most of his time chilling himself to the bone in the water and then returning to the blanket he laid out on the beach next to Luli so he could warm up some before he would go back and repeat the process.
Of course it was pretty hard to relax when there was screaming little brats running all over and even kicking sand up on his chest. There was little preventing him from leaning up and popping the kid int he head, he was running low on his doses for the day.
the beach didn't hold much appeal for when he could avoid it, he was a simple guy who liked his routine and his territory, and he wasn't yet up to take it over. So it wasn't much of a problem in his mind getting the hell away from snot nosed brats.
Abandoning his towel he pushed himself up and headed toward the water far after Luli headed out. to a boat that had pulled up near shore. He waited because he saw an opportunity. Once she was at the side of the boat looking up Colin was dashing toward the water and leaped forward in a shallow dive, skimming his body across the bottom while he followed a wave out.
Colin stopped and pressed himself down to a crouch and grabbed Luli by the rump, pulling her down into the water and then straightening his legs to send her up into the air, where he intended to see her land on the boat or at the very least get her footing and pull herself up, while he pulled in a deep breath after hiding under the water.
The few small clouds in the sky began to vanish as the sun began to shine even brighter over the small Chula Vista beach. Roth watched as a girl in a rather revealing one piece came up to the boat taking Roth up on his offer for a ride. As she came up another man came up behind her and threw her into the air. Before Roth could reply to here comments she was flying up at him in the air.
Without much thought Roth spread his footing and caught the girl as she flew to the boat. As Roth got a hold over the girl he swung her gently around into a wedding carry and gently placed her down on the front end of the boat.
"Always got room for a pretty lady such as yourself. You got a name?" Roth commented with a soft smile. He couldn't help himself around the ladies, especially when she was the first one to take his boat ride offer.
After awaiting a reply Roth looked over into the water in search of the man that had thrown the girl into the air. Roth would let him on the boat, but also wanted to make sure he was out of the water. Wouldn't be a good scene if Roth killed someone by shedding him up with the propeller the first day he got his boat back.
"Hey man, you coming up too or what." Roth yelled out into the water. Carlos, the dog the had come with Old Johnny, popped up from below deck and began to bark quietly at the water where the man had been. It was pretty rare to see a male Boston Terrier bark at anything.
Roth took another look to the beach. The suns rays reflected off the sand as he saw a few more people seem interested in the boat.
Luli had almost forgotten about Colin in her eagerness to get the hell out of here. When she felt those familiar hands on her ass it didn’t keep her from making a small exclamation of surprise, as she was drug down a bit then pushed up.
“God damn it, Colin!” She gasped out intent on a whole other string of profanity, but her attention wasn’t on him for long, though her irritation was still there, obviously etched on her face.
She let herself be hauled up and pulled over the side sparing and managing a grin at the guy who was decent enough to help her. When she was put and he began to talk she lifted an eyebrow, holding in a snicker. Leaning in while she had time and she didn’t see moody scot she lifted a hand to run her finger along the underside of dark haired guys jaw.
“I sure do have a name,” Luli said sweetly enough her grin still curled up on her lips before she pulled away enough to turn around so she could face the back where she had no doubt Colin was lingering under water. She knew he wouldn’t let her go off by herself with another guy even if they weren’t together in the…traditional sense. The guy was to territorial for his own good, but then of course that street ran both ways.
“Yeah, he’ll be getting on as soon as he quits fucking around,” she said just hoping Colin caught her words knowing it would get some reaction out of him, and she grinned a little more ignoring the dog that had come out.
Luckily for the boat owner Colin had ducked back under the water after Luli was launched off into the air, he would make a point to check up on her by staying under the water to look for her legs kicking around, but once she didn't fall back in he went under the boat and to the other side.
Using the same crouch he aimed his hands up and pressed his legs out, driving himself out of the water and easily catching the boat, rocking it as he pulled himself up found himself on a boat with a dog, some asshole, and Luli.
Colin shrugged off the urge to punt the dog off the boat and probably the same to whoever it was that stole the boat. Instead he just brushed his hand over his short hair and let the salt water spray off. "I never quit fucking around." He grunted, tugging on his ears to get the water out of them.
Glancing around the boat he wondered how much space it actually had to walk around on, but figured that unless he really did decide to punt the dog and the guy off the boat it wouldn't matter much. So instead he just glanced back at the beach to see if there was any other takers for the free ride.
The warm sun began to swell through the water as a few stray waves brushed up passed the boat. Roth turned around and took a quick look at the bay. It looked like mostly flat seas and no clouds in sight. Once they shoved off they would definitely be able to see the city from where ever they went.
Roth turned around quickly as he saw the man who had thrown the girl up to the boat launch himself aboard and walk up onto the bow. Roth walked up to the man after he finished his comment about fucking around. Roth wouldn't be surprised if that had multiple meanings.
Roth out stretched his hand for a shake. "Names Roth, I'd tell ya to call me Capitan, but you and I both know thats not happening." Roth joked around as he greeted his new passenger. Roth was hoping his handshake was approved. It seemed as if nobody in this collective had any goddamn manners.
Roth turned back to the beach and awaited any last minute arrivals. He had plenty of space on the boat. In fact it was more like a small yacht, but Roth hated the word, it just sounded too high strung. The bow had hatch leading to the cabin below. Fully stocked by Old Johnny with snack food and a mini fridge. It had plenty of room with two small beds and a bench with a small table. It also had a deck on the stern, mostly used for dive and fishing boats. Overall it was a medium sized yacht that Roth refereed to as his old boat.
Roth turned back to the girl and what seemed to be her guy as Carlos came running up next to Roth and sat at his feet. "So what're your names, and is there any particular place you wanna go? I got a full tank of gas ready to do just about anything." Roth asked the two passengers as he went to go reel up his small anchor.
(ooc: Colin and Luli each post and then if nobody else shows up by tomorrow then we'll shove off)
She ignored his quip about how he never stopped fucking around and in stead raised an eyebrow in his direction before turning her attention from him to…Roth was his name or so he said. (Not that she had any reason not to believe him) Straightening at his question she smiled again stepping over to Roth with a side glance to Colin. Luli was forever looking for a way to rile him up, since he was so keen on taking those damn little pills. While it probably didn’t mean well for the guy she was currently slipping her arm around, it was entertaining to her…
“Well, I’m Luli,” She said with out hesitation and looked over to Colin with a lifted eyebrow, yet another way to get him worked up (She seemed to have it out for the guy today), she spoke for him, “and this is Colin.”
Hey she wanted to start shit, not have these two in a fistfight when she was supposed to be having a good time, so with a small laugh to herself she stepped away from Roth and to Colin deciding she had better quite for the moment, while she was ahead anyways. When Luli was in front of Colin she brushed her fingers over his damp abdomen and made sure to put herself right at his side. She knew when she had done something to the point she needed to suck up for...and it was bordering pretty thing...right now.
She knew he hated her teasing with anything that had a set dangling in between their legs and even if she had the same grin saying she really wasn't sorry...her actions she hoped would be placating enough.

Colin found that once he was up on the boat and had made his comment, which had only had been meant to come off one or two ways at most, he found the owner approach him with a hand stretched out. Finding it odd that he didn't ise that to launch the guy out to sea he reached out and grasped his hand firmly, not holding back any of his gripping strength for the sake, and let go once he conveyed his strength.
Of course while he shook his hand he also didn't respond to the joke with little more than a raise of his brow, ever the social butterfly. Little wonder with the way Luli had a habit of making a good 90% of the people he met targets within five minutes of knowing them, which she proved splendidly when she walked over to Roth and hooked her arm around him while she introduced both of them, much to his instant annoyance.
Surprisingly before he could push his way forward and make an attempt to toss him seaward a combination of pills from a little orange bottle and Luli quelled him before any serious chance of drowning came around. Knowing his weak spot she slipped over to him and subtly reminded him that she was attracted to him, or more likely the way he kept his body strong and toned.
Either way it worked for him, so he grabbed her by the hip and pulled against his side roughly, glaring down at her before he looked up to their ride. "There is a little island off the coast a couple miles up, nice place to hike up and there is some grave sites to loiter on. Places where idiots dove off the wrong side of the rocks after partying on the last set of graves."
(ooc: Well it's time shove off. BTW I'm brining 2 NPCs with us to liven things up)
The afternoon sun glistened on the water as peace spread through out the San Diego Bay. The Chula Vista beach was still bustling with people and it was time to go relax away from it all. Roth finished his introductions to his two new "friends" after matching Colin's strength in a grip match handshake. Roth was pretty damned tough, and knew when competition was around.
Roth listened as Colin had talked about a small island a few miles up the coast. The sounded like a great idea, the problem was this over-ripped Scot didn't mention a single heading, or even direction. Roth looked at him with a small dumbfounded stare before looking back over to the beach.
Two other girls had come running up last minute. They looked like Collective students, the first was blonde with a gorgeous body and a Red bikini. The other was brunette, not as toned as the first and a on a simple black one piece. After the last two came aboard Roth went over to the end of the bow and started pulling up his anchor.
"Hey Colin, put the slack in that bucket there, then we can check the maps for this 'Fantasy Island' you're talking about." Roth looked over as the was pulling the full anchor up and over the boat. Roth had three anchors, one for a diving charter he did a few times over the summer, on for pulling up to the beach, and another for fishing when he wasn't too far out to sea.
As Roth looked at Colin to help him he also took another quick glance at Luli. She was a very attractive girl, but Roth new when another man had marked his territory, but that had never really stopped him much before. After the full anchor was hoisted up and into his bucket Roth waited for everyone to either go through the hatch to below deck, or sit in the seats in back and watch the water. Carlos was now following Roth and sat in a small compartment next to Roth's Capitan chair.
"So Colin, where about was this 'Fantasy Island'. I wanna make sure I can match it to the map." Roth said as he pulled out the maps and waited for him to give him some sort of idea of where he was going. The wind began to pick up a small cooling breeze that kept the day nice and calm as he took another stare at the vast bay.
Luli took the possessive grab, knowing it had been coming anyways and grinned when she went ahead slipped out of his grasp a little bit later. She let the boys play navy for now instead opting to grab her bag and knowing the place Colin was talking about. As she went she noticed a few other girls running up late but she completely ignored them as she skipped down to the lower compartments and rummaged for something, a beer, something.
And she found it in the mini fridge somewhat to the back and her nose crinkled at the fact it was a Samuel Adam’s but…she’d live for the sake of alcohol. After taking a minute or two to find a bottle opener she popped the top and took a long slow drink. Nodding to herself Luli headed back up, sending a wink Roth’s way and lifting the beer, “hope you don’t mind.”
She didn’t wait however and headed to the back sipping away on the beer and wanting to be in the sun. With a light stretch she made herself comfortable, reaching a hand up to pull down her sunglasses and continuing to ignore the other girls that had come aboard still. Luli made sure she looked too unapproachable to talk to, no need to have some stupid little broads chatting her ear off. Tilting her head she watched Colin a subtle grin on her face and knowing that he would just love doing what he was doing, or had been roped into.
Poor guy often found himself doing things he probably wouldn't prefer or bother doing when she was involved. Snickering to herself Luli continued to drain her beer, hoping that even though she hadn’t seen more there was more. This would be a slow afternoon, and evening if there wasn’t a good supply going on.
Colin wasn't all that surprised that his grip was matched, pound for pound. He was a strapping young man who worked on his strength pretty well, but he was hardly the only one, and probably wasn't even strongest. But he'd be willing to bet he applied his strength more appropriately than most, so undeterred he just kept to himself and Luli, until she slipped bellow, likely rummaging around for something to intoxicate herself with.
Feeling like he should be doing something he went to the side of the boat and braced himself, dropping a hand down to either girl and hauled them up, his muscles standing out as he strained to pull the two girls up until they could grab a hold, wondering why their 'captain' didn't give him a hand with one of them, but kept his tongue glued tightly to the inside of his cheek.
Once they were aboard he was then assigned a task, and Colin shot a glare over his shoulder. It seemed like he was stuck in a perpetual loop of doing shit he didn't want to. If it were up to him he would be home working on his car, or at the very least punting off every single breathing thing, except maybe Luli, and head off to to the little island by himself.
Instead he was hauling up an anchor hand over hand, until he could finally drop it into the boat and tied it down so it wouldn't bash around and brake someones ankles. More out of self preservation and habit than worry for anyone else. After that he didn't have much to do so he turned around and leaned against the bow, trying to ignore the insensible chattering and giggling as the girls glanced between him, Roth, and the boat.
When he was called to from the cabin he ducked his head in and raised his brow as he looked at the map. He only knew how to get there if he was driving, up the coast to the north, maybe half a mile off shore, but there was a special spot to park a boat, and you had to guide it through some pretty gnarly rocks. Which is why people usually just swam there during low tied.
"Aim the boat north, stay a mile off short, idle the boat to the seaside of the island when you see it. Then we'll either anchor and swim over or you'll need to let me guide the boat in. I don't do..." He glanced down at the maps and raised his brow. "Charts."
The small wind began to pick up a little further cooling off the boat and it's passengers. The sun still shined up in the sky, but a single stray cloud was floating in from the ocean. Roth started up the boat and began to turn over heading deeper into the bay. He would stay relatively close to the beach, but there was always that one idiot would would be in over there head and get chopped up by the propeller. Never a good scene.
Roth took a small laugh to him self as Colin simply discredited charts in general. This made Roth curious as Colin didn't seem the kind of guy to stop and ask for directions either, so how the hell would get anywhere? All that a side Roth began to head north to their Fantasy Island. With any luck they would be there all night sitting by a fire and just have a good time. When you could get out of the Collective, you wanted to stay out.
Roth looked over behind him to see Luli with a beer in her hand. He had apparently never heard her from below and was surprised to see it. Roth thought little of it though, something Old Johnny had left behind. The boat now soared through the bay with ease of the flat seas and the gorgeous weather. After a bout ten minutes Roth saw what seemed to be their island.
"Hey Colin!" Roth yelled over to the Scot looking to make sure that was it. "That it up there?" The boat was beginning to slow down as they came closer. He would let them all swim back around as Roth would navigate his own way through the rocks. When you train with someone as crazy as Old Johhny you knew how to handle almost any condition...even made Roth train for an avalanche once. Washington coast, dynamite, and a cliff...not fun.
After Roth was assured that this was it he turned the boat off and turned to Colin, Luli and the other two who were just enjoying the ride keeping somewhat to themselves. "Alright, you guys will have to go swim ahead and I'll find a way through the rocks up ahead for the boat. Plus Carlos can't swim." The small Boston Terrier perked up and jumped down from his post at the sound of his name.
Roth waited until everyone was off the boat and in good distance before starting her up again. Roth took another look to the sky watching the single stray cloud sit there in the sky doing nothing of any importance.
Luli continued to drain her beer fairly quickly as the trip started up, knowing it wouldn’t take that long to get there. Settling her eyes on Colin, and grinned some more, guy was always looking imposed about something before she looked at the other girls chatting it up to themselves and occasionally stealing glances toward the brooding scot. Scowling at the two she was startled out of her musing when their captain announced their arrival, and made a face at the thought of getting this bathing suit wet.
It was more for show then…anything. Grinning a bit she waved the others off and turned to Roth as she stood draining the last of her drink.
“Mind if I stay aboard with you, skipper?” Luli didn’t feel like a dip in the water, “I’m sure Colin will be more then willing to play tour guide.”
She looked over in his direction still grinning and wiggled the bottle between her fingertips as she made her way over to Roth, “besides, I think we’re gonna be needing more then regular soda to make this a fun little trip.”
She really hated the idea of getting her suit or hair wet at the moment all Luli wanted was to lie out and get some sun. She was even more sure if she tried to get in the water with this thing on everyone would get a pretty nice peep show, it was hardly staying up as it was, didn’t need any water weighing it down, not to mention it wasn’t cheap.
((ooc - Colin feel free to throw her ass overboard anyways =3))

Colin seemed to be barely putting up with the nonsense going on around him, and that didn't change when he was called out to. There was only the one island, and he had been going the right way, so unless he forgot how far away it would be what was the point in asking?
Sighing he nodded, stretching his arms above his head while his chest puffed out, his joints creaking as he loosened himself up. He was heading out to swim soon, after all. He could have restated that he could navigate his way in with any boat pretty easily, but he couldn't care less if the stubborn bastard wrecked his boat, he could make the swim back to shore and snatch up a boat to get the girls off if he screwed up.
But then there was always that pesky little petite Chinese girl that liked to get under his skin a little too much. He glared at her and came up behind her, a hand grabbing her shoulder, and then other swung up to grab her between her legs. "Skipper is going to be busy, you get to swim." He told her as he hefted her off the ground and threw her up and over the side of the boat and into the water.
Knowing the island by heart he knew she would have a good fifteen feet of cool water to splash into, with no chance of bumping into anything on her way down. Without giving a glance to their ride he took two quick steps forward and dove over the side of the boat, slipping low, and swimming back up to the surface. He swirled his arms around him as he went forward.
"Follow along," He yelled as water lapped up around his neck, and started to swim in a rough line toward the distant beach, making a point to look over his shoulder and be sure the girls weren't lagging too far behind.as between the four of them he was probably the strongest swimmer.
The boat engine came to a halt As Roth got as close the island as he could. He didn't want to make everyone tire themselves out by swimming. The day was young, and the night was even younger. Roth watched as the two girls daintily got off the boat using the door in back that was for Roth's diving charters. Then Luli began to talk about staying aboard, luckily for Roth, Colin decided to throw the girl off the boat and then dove in himself. If Roth wouldn't be able to deal with the distraction of the girl while avoiding damage from rocks.
Roth watched on as Colin spouted off something to the rest of the swimmers. Roth watched Luli as she came up from the water close to the boat. Colin was already on his way as Roth opened up the back and tried to drift over to her.
"Hey Luli, you can come up if ya want. I got some towels up here so you can dry off." Roth out stretched his hand to the girl to see if she would accept. Hopefully she would. Roth wouldn't try anything like flirting, she was obviously "with" Colin and he would respect that, but Roth didn't like the way he treated her, and everything else around him. Roth would rather be a nice guy and deal with a distraction than leave her there.
Whether or not Luli accepted the offer Roth started up the boat and turned toward the beach a little ways off from where Colin and the two girls were headed. Again people plus propeller equal very, very bad. Roth turned on his Fish Finder that came with the boat to start monitoring the boat along the rocks. Technology and experience came hand i n hand.
Roth took a quick look into the sky to see a few more clouds than before. The sun was still shinning bright and nobody had a damn thing to worry about.

Luli was expecting to be picked up and tossed in the water a surprised yelp leaving her before she hit the water. Coughing and sputtering she surfaced a glare on her face as she watched Colin swimming away with the other two girls struggling to keep up. Her hair clung to her face obscuring her vision somewhat as she treaded water one hand coming up to push back her long hair out of the way.
Just like she thought the bathing suit hadn’t stayed up and she was a little glad her back was to the boat as she tried to adjust it properly. It was when she heard Roth yelling at her to come back aboard and with a final glare in Colin’s direction she hesitated for a moment wondering which road she wanted to really go down.
Luli knew it would piss Colin off but she hadn’t wanted to go in the water and if he was going to pull the jealous macho act well…she’d pull the bitch fuck you act right back. This vicious little cycle they had going on, constantly poking and growling at each other despite how destructive it all was, never stopped, it seemed. But instead of giving into it like usual she tried her best to adjust her swimsuit, turning a little in the water and waving off Roth.
“Don’t worry ‘bout it,” she said with casual grin lifting a free hand to wave him off despite the possible irritation. Luli was in a bind either way she looked at it she couldn’t swim to the shore if she was holding onto her suit and she wasn’t going to poke at Colin anymore today (or right then) either.

Colin only swam off far enough to mark the distance where the girls could find the shallow shoreline through the rough rocks, and once they knew where to head he dove under the water and began swimming back, ever the powerful swimmer it didn't take him long to make it back to the boat, or at least just in front of a pair of kicking legs.
As he breached the water he took in a large gulp of air and sank back under for a moment, and then settled as he tread water. He came up in front of her while she was waving off Roth, since he was under the water he wasn't really sure what was going on but he did notice as that the familiar sight of Luli's chest wasn't all that hard to see.
Smiling sheepishly he tread closer and used some powerful kicking to grab her by the waist and pull her to him. This wasn't exactly the first time it had happened, and he was surprised he hadn't thought of that before he tossed her in. If things went the way they had before she would put her legs around his waist and he would tread water while she fixed her suit.
And now that they were so close he had an opportunity to glance suggestively down at her while he raised his brow. "Hm, while I don't approve of involuntary bareness I have to admit that it's nice to know it can be shifted around when I want it to be." He winked at her, his stamina for treading in the water pretty good, but his breathing was growing more labored as he held both of them afloat.
The warm San Diego bay sun was now starting to be blocked out by a mix of white and gray clouds. Still nothing to worry about, it gave the sky a little character. Roth took a moment to offer Luli up onto the boat, and although she seemed like she did want to come aboard, she decided against it. With a sigh the captain turned back and headed back to his chair to start up the boat.
The small Boston Terrier began to walk around the boat watching the water intently. Animals had a much greater sense of nature than people did, but Roth blew it off as he turned back to the water to see Colin and Luli just floating in the water.
"Hey, you guys wanna get out of the way. The motor will mess you up pretty bad."
By this point Roth was pretty ticked off. He wasn't really angry, but he couldn't go anywhere with them there. Plus Colin just gave him an overall bad vibe. He decided to ignore it and have a good time while he could.
After the two would hopefully move from his way Roth started up the boat and headed for their Fantasy Island. Roth watched the currents of the water, small eddies, and the Fish Finder to watch the rocks. After a few minutes of working between them and a few nicks and dings here and there Roth pulled up to the warm sandy beach.
By now everyone should have been back on the island's shore as Roth tied up the boat to a nearby tree. His passengers weren't far, and Roth grabbed a small cooler, loaded it up with Old Johnny's old alcohol, and a few other drinks. He grabbed Carlos's leash and headed out for the rest of the group.
With a pout and a none to pleased look she let herself be pulled to Colin, her legs wrapping around his waist regardless. As she fixed her bathing suit Luli gave him a flat even look her fingers going under his chin and nudging it up to meet her face "Hope you got a good look, baby, because that will probably be the last time today..."
With that rather cold response she pushed away from him and swam at her leisure ignoring Roth and Colin alike as she made her way to the beach. Luli wasn't a bad swimmer but she wasn't going to be winning any gold medals so her pace was relatively slower then anyone else she imagined. When her feet finally touched the shallows, she straightened herself in the water, a hand automatically going to her suit to hold it up as she waded her way to the beach.
When she finally got to dry land she let herself fall to her knees turning so when she went back to sit she could stretch out in the sun, even if the sand was scratching against her skin...
Stretching her arms above her head Luli was determined not to move until she was completely dried off, her breathing a little deeper from the extra energy it took to swim. The only thing that got to crack one eye was the sound of their captain approached and she noticed the cooler he was carting the little terrier trotting along with him on a leash.
It made her shift to her elbows her head cocked to the side and a grin pulling at her lips. "Well, the good times depends on what you got in the cooler, skipper."
Her tone was teasing and she was being a little warmer to the dark haired guy then Colin at the moment, still sore at having been tossed overboard.
