        Personality:

          Miscellaneous Information:

            Combat:
[/b] Well versed in the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program (MCMAP), with special training in Combat Sambo and Krav Maga.
Weaknesses: Max’s biggest fighting flaw is not inherent within his chosen styles, but rather in the way he approaches combat with his chosen styles. Max is, all things considered, an incredibly forward, offensive-based fighter. It is the reason he took upon Combat Sambo, a grapple-based art that is more offensive than many other similar arts, and Krav Maga, whose viciousness and intensity speak for itself as an offensive weapon. Despite that fact, MCMAP and Sambo are both very grapple-based arts, which are, by and large, mainly defensive, and Krav Maga is taught as a survival art, which makes it an inherently defensive art as well. Despite this, Max tends to utilize them in more offensive fashions, which does not particularly lend itself toward the natures of said styles and leaves his defensive capabilities lacking somewhat.
Strengths: As stated before, Max pushes himself to be an offensive fighter, and it shows. He is aware that he is weak in his defensive ability, and so he makes up for it by being the most effective, efficient fighter he can be. Taking liberal use of Krav Maga and the more effective grapple techniques of his other arts, Max will take an enemy fighter down and attempt to incapacitate him with one hit, or at least will attempt to do so. Generally, though, he prefers ending fights quickly, taking an opponent down as quickly as possible, and has become very effective at it.[/ul]

              History:
[/i] cool last name. Of course, going through his school years, Max took it upon himself not to become a slave to the Corporal Punishment system, and, with his father’s urging, entered into a strict physical fitness program, lifting weights and working out on a daily basis, so that his body could grow to fill in his name. Despite his workout ethic and generally overbearing sounding name inspiring the opposite, Max Fightmaster never managed to attain any sort of real recognition in his high school years, as he entered only a scant few fights of which he won all of, and never crossed the path of the Pillars nor strove to become one. In fact, Max graduated from high school in the solid middle of his class, and, when he graduated, it was almost certain to his father that he would follow in his footsteps and join the military.

And join he did, at the ripe age of eighteen. He entered into United States Marine Corps, after doing his research and deciding the multi-faceted approach they took to combat and warfare interested him the most. He started Basic training, and finally, Max Fightmaster began to shine. All his hard work into sculpting his body through high school paid off, as he was in much better shape than even some of the other Privates who weren’t just fresh off of high school, and had also been working themselves. While not necessarily a military genius, Max picked up quick and followed orders precisely, and showed a natural leadership that others seemed to lack. All during training, he would be leading the rest of the trainees in the drills and programs, and in those were one was needed, Max was almost always chosen to be a squad leader, and no one complained.

Max went through Basic with honors, and began his real term of service with the Marines shortly after. Once again, his strict adherence to policy procedures, absolute efficiency in taking orders, and ability to give them as needed left his superiors stunned. While discipline was no rare feat in the USMC, in fact, it was quite heavily instructed, it seemed that Max took to it faster than most, as if those usual rebellious teenage feelings that many young new recruits had were simply missing. Despite this, Max was no military master, as few truly exist in this day and age, and thus, his military career is not filled with honors and quick promotions, just the inner sense of a job done right. Max served two tours of duty in Iraq, and was promoted to the position of Staff Sergeant in early 2008, achieving the rank just a little before one usually does in standard service.

While he was on leave back home in Nevada, awaiting deployment on another tour of duty, likely once again in Iraq, Max was contacted by his superiors. It seemed that another opportunity had arisen, and he had been particularly chosen for it. Max listened with some horror as the general explained that he would be taken off active duty indefinitely. However, he was not without work, as an opening for a Military Director at a new, experimental educational facility was being held, at the moment, specifically for him. After considering it for a moment, Max felt that, despite the much more free nature, this, too, was much the same as an order, and accepted without further question. Upon his acceptance, however, the general did not seem to be particularly pleased by this news. He quickly arranged for a face to face meeting with Fightmaster.

By the end of the week, the general had flown into Fallon, Nevada via the nearby Navy Air Base and met up with Max personally. He quickly explained to Max that this job was not quite as cut and dry as he’d had to make it over the phone. The general quickly explained to Max the nature of his mission: By accepting the position, Max was also primarily in charge of overseeing the designated Headmaster of the Henry Knox Academy, one Stephen Johnson. For some reason, an FBI Agent had been given the Headmaster role of a military academy over any actual military personnel, of which there quite a few gunning for the job, and above all that, the man’s history was spotty at best. The man had risen up through the ranks of the FBI faster than most could dream of, and something definitely seemed off about the man. As the general continued to explain the finer details of the job, Max Fightmaster realized that what was expected of him was almost completely counterproductive to what he had been bred and trained to do all his life. While he was to report directly to Mr. Johnson and follow orders to the letter, he was also to completely defy the man, in a sense, by turning around and reporting to the joint Chiefs any unusual behavior.

Regardless, the General needed him, and an order was an order. He upheld his acceptance.

Before he left, the general fished into his coat pocket and produced a pair of sunglasses, a modest pair of black no-name shades, and handed them to Max. “Our FBI informant told us that, if you’re going to be dealing with Stephen Johnson, you’ll need these. He wouldn’t tell us why.”
