      Kenji has an oval-shaped face with the typical almond-shaped eyes of Asians, slightly pink, half-full lips, and a small, straight nose. His skin is free of blemishes and always has a slight tan. His hair is long and often falls into his eyes, but that's just part of his charm. He has almost a girlish body with shoulders slightly narrower than most males, narrow hims and a thin torso. He's on the short side and isn't awkward with his limbs like most males his age. He is lean and slightly muscled from weekly trips to the gym. He is built for agility, not strength, and can outrace you, but can also lift up to his weight.

        Kenji wears his uniform mostly to code. He likes to keep his tie loose and always wears black slacks. He wears a blazer most days and will take it off and sling it over a shoulder if he gets hot.

        Outside of class, Kenji wears a variety of clothing, but likes to stick to a classier wardrobe. He likes blazers, loose ties, and a dress shirt, usually plain but sometimes striped. He wears nice jeans occasionally and with a t-shirt while working, but prefers slacks as they look better with his blazers. He usually wears dress shoes, but will pull out brown sneakers for work or working out.

          Kenji is a certainly interesting card. He's a chameleon and can fit in almost anywhere he wants. He listens intently and shapes his responses to the person's personality. With females, he's charming, the perfect gentlemen, and suave. When just hanging around with the guys, he's charismatic, funny, and always ready go carousing. At school and around adults, he is polite, princely, and intelligent. At a party, he can usually be found entertaining a host of females with his wit and humor. He's quite the player and occasionally dates only one woman at time. After a few dates though, he breaks up with them. He never lets anyone close to his true nature, a sullen, wicked kind of boy. When he's at home or alone, he makes fun of people to himself and can be very rude. He is slightly vain, valuing his looks very highly as he gets women with them.

              Kenji learned to fight from watching the boys in his neighborhood who all used basic punching, kicking, and wrestling. The idea is to get the opposition pinned down and convince them to leave you alone. When faced with many opponents, he runs, fights the first person to get to him, runs some more, fights the next person and on and on. The former style is taken from a sword style, but is still wonderful for fighting with fists. If he doesn't feel that he can win a fight, he runs and hides, a skill that was honed from the neighborhood-wide hide and seek games of his childhood.
              Weaknesses: With no specific style, Kenji never learned how to judge people's specific moves or read into their body types. He's a personality kind of person and will often try to charm his way out of a fight, but often fails. He typically gets into fights for flirting with other guy's girlfriends who are strong, angry, and will try to beat him to a pulp. He isn't very strong compared to the norm and can't keep people down well.
              Strengths: With no specific style, his moves are random and can surprise his opponents. He is speedy and he can talk sense into people to calm them down to avoid ruining his looks. He can hide well, and can also move his limbs quickly. He is used to his size and is very conscious of what his body is doing and the weaknesses in it that have a possibility of being exploited.[/ul]

                Kenji was born in San Diego, California to Misa and Charles Tanaka. He has an older brother and sister who are five and three years older respectively. The family lived in a small house in the suburbs with many other Japanese-American families with children around the Tanakas' ages. The neighborhood was nice and the children all got along and played games until they were called in for chores, homework, or sleep. The family was very close and lived a very happy life. Then Kenji turned twelve.

                Shortly after Kenji's twelth birthday, he found his father with another woman when Kenji went to his father's office to get permission to have a friend over (the Tanakas didn't believe in cell phones and Charles hadn't answered his office phone). Kenji, broken-hearted, ran home and told his mother. The family was divorced only a few months later.

                When it came to custody, Charles made a bargain with Kenji since his other two children had already sided with their mother. Charles said that he would teach Kenji how to live a wonderful, happy life as long as he came to live with him in Chula Vista. Kenji accepted and learned how to charm everyone and stay sane. He was also brainwashed into thinking that his mother was a horrible, controlling woman and went to her house in the summer and on some holidays unhappily.

                Kenji started going to Chula Vista in the seventh grade and liked the school a lot. He kept on his teachers' good sides, got decent grades, and managed to stay in the “in” crowd. Kenji leads the high life and is generally happy despite the lack of his old neighborhood's closeness.[/ul]
