Alias:N/A Date of Birth: February 22nd, 1992 Age: 17 Nationality: American Ethnicity: Father is American, his Mother is English. Blood Type: O+ Height: 6'0" Weight: 174 lbs. Hair Colour: Dark Brown Eye Color: Amber Hazel Handedness: Ambidextrous Sexual Orientation: Straight[/ul]
Physical Appearance:

Alden was always taught to mind his appearance and to take care of himself. He was a very active teenager, and so his body build is on the athletic side of things. But if you look at him, he is toned and a lot of his muscles are well defined, they just aren't cumbersome.
As for his skin, it's sorta pale but it seems to fit him well. He doesn't carry any large scars, and the small ones he might have are probably located around his hands, wrists and shins due to both Martial Arts and his other recreational activities.
Most people would probably consider him a handsome male. And that dark brown hair of his is almost always kept slightly long, around neck length. Sometimes it'll be neatly combed or brushed, other times it'll be left a little messy. [/ul]
Apparel & Accessories:

Alden is a fan of all kinds of clothing. He doesn't really have a favorite color so he buys clothing of all different kinds. Anything from tank-tops to button-down shirts. Usually it all depends on the occasion. If he knows he needs to dress up for a reason, then he doesn't have any problems wearing an expensive suit or other dress clothing. He likes variety, so he doesn't usually wear a specific kind of clothing all the time.
When it comes to accessories, he'll usually have a silver chain around his neck, and a watch of some kind on his right hand. Occasionally he'll even wear some wrist bands, or wrap his hands, wrists and biceps. He also has a pair of white gloves with added grip which he'll usually use when he runs and takes part in Parkour. [/ul]
Personality:

Most people would consider Alden to be a nice guy, and it's usually because he is. As long as you don't give him a reason to dislike you, then you'll probably have a friend. He doesn't like to hold a grudge or have bad blood with anyone, so he is a very forgiving person at times. Of course, he isn't stupid. If he forgives you once and you betray him a second time, then that is the end of the relationship, and you just gained yourself an enemy.
He's courageous and often willing to help other people out when they need it, and he's the kind of guy who rarely asks for anything in exchange. Alden was always a giver, and not a taker. In fact, he doesn't like receiving gifts from anyone, and he'll usually deny them in almost all situations. He'd rather take a friendship over anything of monetary value. And when it comes to friend's, Alden is a very good friend. He doesn't mind talking to people about their problems, and tries to do his best to make sure if friends are always happy while around him.
Alden loves company though, and he is capable of all kinds of things. He doesn't mind flirting, joking around, maybe even a few little friendly names tossed around. Sometimes he might give someone a hard time, but usually he's just joking around. Though he does have his serious moments, and knows when to speak and when it won't matter at all to even talk. He's usually pretty good at picking up on someone's feelings, also. And if he feels like there is something wrong he might try and pry and find out if he can help.

Combat:
Hurricane Combat Arts is an eclectic mixed martial art / street combatives system which blends tools, theories and concepts from JKD/Wing Chun Gung Fu, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Indonesian Pentjak Silat Serak, with American and Russian military H2H combative concepts.
There are no forms, kata, or sport tournament techniques, just straight up dirty & practical street survival martial arts. The practitioner is first taught basic theories, footwork, camming, and striking weapons(Tools) of the body. They next learn to blend these with natural reactive "Primary Moves" & entries against all angles of attack, followed with multiple strikes, levers & combinations, that flow into finishing moves of temporary detainments or total destruction.
The student then discovers different methods of blending these elements, being able to counterattack with aggressive, naturally reactive moves, based on the opponents attacks and reactions. Instead of being taught memorized set pattern techniques, the practitioner learns to read weaknesses & manipulate human biomechanics, allowing the practitioner to create "techniques" instinctively. Advanced students are introduced to knife fighting, weapons use & defenses, basic Mook Jong(Wooden Dummy) and Iron Palm conditioning.
The goal of the Hurricane practitioner, is to destroy or detain an attacker within the first few seconds of contact, utilizing maximum impact with minimal effort.
Weaknesses: While Alden is tall, his build it suited more toward speed then strength. Due to this, he isn't the most physically strong person around. Alden's body isn't completely weak, but he knows that if he worked harder he could eventually be able to take more damage as well. Also, he hates getting hit in the face. He prefers to sacrifice an arm rather than get a black eye.
Strengths: Alden's biggest strengths would have to be his ability to read opponents and answer their attacks with odd, unexpected attacks of his own. Along with his ability to read people, Alden is quite fast and flexible. He is good at dodging and countering, and prefers to do that kind of thing, instead of getting hit. [/ul]
History:
Early Childhood and Education. Alden grew up in England for a good bit of his early life. His father was a contractor for the military, both in the United States and in England. Alden grew up in a very wealthy family, and he had be trained early on to realize that he would take over his father's company. As he grew up, his father taught him all the things he felt a man needed to know. He was taught from an early age how to fire a pistol, and later on a rifle. He was taught how to manage his money, and how to work as a business man. It seemed that Alden had been 'destined for great things', at least that was what his father had drilled into his head since he could walk.
It was also when he first started to socialize. Due to his family's reputation, he started gaining popularity among the children, and along with friends he gained enemies. Alden was young, and for most of his youth outside of the home was often spent fighting because people seemed to think that he was nothing but a scared little rich boy who got his parents to do everything for him. He felt he had something to prove for awhile, and it caused him a lot of trouble in school and outside of school.
Early Teenage Years Unfortunately for Alden, he wasn't destined to go to school in England for the rest of his life. While he wanted to stay, his father insisted that they move to America. And his father's word was law. While Alden found the move uncomfortable, it wasn't too long before he was able to settle himself. He found that as he had grown, he had lost the need to fight often. He had also gotten a lot of words from his father on the matter, and decided that public school might only start to fuel Alden's fire for fights even more. So instead of a normal school, he had enrolled Alden in The Henry Knox Academy.
His father believed that Alden lacked the right kind of discipline, and that a military school would be best for him. To Alden it really didn't matter what kind of school he was going to. He wasn't trying to get on his father's bad side, so he figured it was best to try not to rock the boat. While he knew he couldn't fight people for no reason at all, that didn't mean he couldn't learn to defend himself and get his fighting urges out in a controlled environment. He explained this to his father, and his father had agreed to allow him to take up a Martial Art. He had even called a close friend of his from the military, and contracted him to take Alden on as a student. From that day onward, he was a practitioner of the Hurricane Combat Arts.
Present Alden managed to move through most of his academic career without too many problems what so ever. He had focused on making friends, rather then spending energy trying to cause problems with people and asking for trouble. For the most part he stuck to his studies, and never allowed himself to slip below his A average. His goal was to graduate and move on with the life that had been planned for him before he was even born. But there was still quite some time before he gained control of his father's military weapon's manufacturing company.
Alden didn't know what kind of trip would be ahead of him from here on out. But he was confident that he could handle whatever it may be. He had grown up quite a bit and he believed that he was ready for whatever this world threw at him.
Was he right? Time would tell..
