She disliked this place already....
Her eyes were fixed to the ground as memories of her dear friend rushed trough her mind. Back pressed against the wall of a building, her head hung low between her arms, for her elbows were pinned to her knees. Her eyes gazed at the grass, though they were looking past that... She was lost inside her own mind, and slowly anger rushed through her veins once more. Grinding her teeth, Melysa whispered: "Fucking vie de cave... Encore une fois... il ne me reste que toi ma belle." ((Fucking stupid life... Once again... The only one I have is you my dear)) Her eyes slowly reached those bubbly green eyes. Her cat Chouchoune walked towards her. Melysa lifted her head till it pressed against the wall behind, never breaking eye contact between her and her gray cat. Mel's grip tighten around the looped part of the kitty's leach, she loved that cat like her own child.

After five minutes of nothing but staring at Chouchoune, Melysa broke it by closing her eye. She then felt that rough tongue lick the tip of her right hand. Since that arm was stuck inside a cast, she couldn't pet her back. So she lifted her left arm that was resting on her knee and petted the cat's curled back. At the same time she let her left leg stretch and drop to the ground. Melysa let a long sigh escape her lips, staring as the students walked pass her. Couples holding hands... Group of girls giggling and pointing at guys... Melysa followed their pointing to stop her gaze on a bunch of males throwing a ball at each other. Rolling her eyes, Melysa brought them down towards her baby.
"Pourquoi est-ce que Michelle me force a venir voir cette stupide ecole, quand a dit que c'est la seul qui va me prendre.... Que je l'aime ou non... J'ai comme pas le choix de m'y habituer."
((Why is Michelle forcing me to visit this darn school, she told me it was the only one who was willing to take me in anyways.. Weather I like it or not... I don't have a choice but to get used to it...))

Chouchoune tilted her head to the left, blinking. Even though there was a strong bond between the two, Chouchoune was still just a cat that hadn't been thought a language, so when Mel spoke it was gibberish to her. Sighing yet once again, Melysa shook her head slightly and stared at her broken right arm. Comme si c'etait pas assez.... ((And to top it all)).... The attention she paid to her broken arm was pushed aside as a man in a wheel chair passed in front of her. Biting her lip, Melysa looked back at Chouchoune who was now making it clear that was wanted to go for a stroll and, Mel guessed, to visit this campus who will now be her new home too.

Melysa froze half as she was getting up. Her stare went blank as her left hand pressed on the wall for support, still holding on the the leash. What if.... What if... Her eyes snapped towards Chouchoune. 'Vais-je pouvoir.....' ((Will I....)) Melysa now glared the ground around her. She hadn't seen an animal yet. Was she able... allowed to keep her cat?
Looking from side to side, she was now sure not to have seen an animal the entire hour she spent sitting on the ground.
"Fuck it."
Mel was determined to push and push until she was allowed to keep her cat. If not, well let her be kicked from this place as well and have no more school to attend to. Maybe then will she be allowed to stay at home and study when she felt like it.

Stretching her back, the young lady looped the loose end of the leash around around her wrist a couple of times to ensure that her kitty would stay close to her. She tapped her black jeans clean around her ass to get the dirt and grass away. Making sure her stomach wasn't visible, she pulled down on her brown tank top. Looking around, she now wondered where she should go now... debating what to visit. Chouchoune just stood by her left side, anxious to see these new surroundings.

Caleb was minding his own business as he entered the campus. He had been out for a run to keep himself in shape. Plus, he had been scouting the area for any good gyms where he could train his gymnastics. He had found a couple of good places that had some good teams he could join if he wanted to. Sweat had been dripping from his forehead, but once he emptied two bottles of water, one over his head and one down into his system, the visible sweating had stopped. He was wearing his black running t-shirt and a pair of matching shorts. To shield his sensitive eyes from the sun, he wore a pair of shades, fashionable, naturally. All in all, he looked like this guy. Except he had longer hair and that his ipod was lying in his dorm room, getting recharged. Making the long run a pretty dull trip without some good tunes. Caleb longed for a nice semi-cold shower once he was back home again.

But something caught Caleb's attention as he entered the campus. A female and ... a cat. Caleb had not seen animals on campus before. Sure, some students acted like animals, but that was very different. Caleb wondered if he should shower first, or the other way around. He decided that his roll-on would have to cover the smell for now. He put away his shades, eye contact was important.

”Hey there, beauty.”

Caleb said with no restraint when he was close enough to the duo. He knew the girl would turn his way and probably be offended by a stranger talking to her like that. But Caleb wasn’t facing the girl instead, Caleb had kneeled down and was holding out his right hand for the cat to sniff. Normal procedure when dealing with cats. Mainly so it wouldn’t panic or attack because a stranger was petting it all of a sudden. Caleb would scratch the cat on the side of the neck if it didn’t retreat after sniffing his hand. Experience told him that all cats liked being scratched there and more experience told him that pursuing a retreating cat would result in him getting bitten or scratched.

”Nice kitty you got here,” Caleb would say as he looked up at the girl. Odd way to approach someone, but Caleb was odd.

That pair of lost blue eyes drifted from left to right, not finding anything to her liking. She was very difficult. Though she knew she had to start somewhere, Melysa deceived to go to her left... It seemed when she went for her right, bad stuff happened. That thought made her drift down to her right arm protected by the white hard cast. She shook her head and decided left was probably better. As she turned left to begin walking, a voice came from behind her. Her soft eyes slowly crept back, to see a sweaty guy standing behind her. Being the polite gal as she was, Melysa just stood there, head turned with those blue irises digging deep into this man's eyes.

She had paid no intention to the words he had spoken, somewhat used to being seen a sex tool by men. Though, oddly enough, that comment wasn't intended to her; it was directed at her kitten. Chouchoune was the complete opposite of Melysa. She was inviting, friendly with about anyone who seemed nice, and would want alot, and let it be repeated, ALOT of attention.
When the man's arm reached out towards Chouchoune, Melysa looked down at her. She pulled lightly on the leach, making her cat back away. Her glare then went back to man's face. No one was to approach her kitten. The only one that had was Jess, and she wasn't here anymore. Even though Melysa had made it clear that Chouchoune wasn't to be petted, the cat resisted and pounced forward, letting the man pet her. Lifting a brow, Melysa looked back down feeling the resistance in the leash. She loosed it up, letting the stranger pet her. Chouchoune had always had what she wanted, it was the way it had always been between the two.

She just stared at the top of his head as he petted her gray kitty cat. She was still positioned the same; feet firmly planted to the ground, somewhat facing where she had intended to go, her upper body slightly turned, and her neck twisted allowing her to semi face the guy. Her eyes were burning into his soul, making sure this man wouldn't mean to harm or take Chouchoune away from her.

After his comment about her cat's looks, Melysa only nodded slightly. Again, she would only talk to people she found interesting; these people who were normally seen as freaks or weird to the rest of the population. Melysa just liked those kind of people, not being part of the normal type of girl herself.

Blinking twice, Melysa nudged on the leash of Chouchoune as she turned around, letting her body return to it's normal and straight posture. And thus she began walking to where she was heading too, before this man disturbed it all. Melysa was a nice girl deep down, but.... it was deep... WAY deep down.
For now, Melysa preferred discovering her new school, before discovering the type of people that walked it's halls. And so she began walking away, kitten following Mel for she was attached to her by a leash. The cat soon forgot the man, and never looked back, only looked froward and up at her master and mother: Mel.

Senior year, the year most high schoolers simply can’t wait for is quite an interesting year. With nearly all credits accounted for, most students consider Senior year the “blow-off” year in which you can do nearly anything you want after your English class at the very least since you need four years of that no matter what. Yes indeed, playing your PSP is a pretty fun thing to do during your “bullshit” classes that you don’t really need the credit for but do the work so you’re GPA stays around a safe level… going back to get your PSP, not so fun, especially without a car,

‘I really dread the summer, it’s so ridiculously hot it makes even thinking difficult… heck maybe all those unsupported claims about Global Warming are right, ’ he thought as he made his way toward the school, fairly irritated at himself for forgetting something important at school, regardless of it being in his locker to assure no one stole it. That aside, this forgetfulness of his though would let him witness a particular event though as he observed his surroundings like he always did of a man, presumably a jock, running up to a girl who seemed pretty easy on the eyes from the distance… but you know what they say, “She’s good from far… but she’s far from good!”,

‘Hey cool guy, your approach there is pretty solid, come running there as if you just ran a marathon and maybe even flex too while you’re at it. Yeah if you got big biceps I’m sure you probably think that chick will think you got a big wang too,’ would be his immediate conclusion after only catching a glance of the situation. He figured he’d ignore it though since it had little to do with him. That being noted, he quickly made his way to the building and got inside, looking through his locker quickly and taking his PSP which he had forgotten to take home earlier, slipping it in his pocket. With that done he had begun to try and get out of the building, taking his time though to enjoy the air conditioning... or at least that's how he thought it would happen, nice, quick, and easy. Reality on the other hand would see him bumping shoulders with someone as he made his way toward the building, interrupting his daydreaming of getting home early and being able to play his PSP,

“Sorry bout that, wasn’t really watching where I was going,” he started immediately as he turned around to see who he bumped into. Surprise, surprise, it was the girl who seemed easy on the eyes from far… but she wasn’t far from good. That in mind, Rich figured talking to her for a moment wouldn’t be too much of a waste of time, he had nowhere to go till another one of his Poker games at night was about anyway,

“Ah you’re the girl that “cool guy” was talking too. Well I’d rather not refer in such a rude way so if you could introduce yourself that’d be convenient. At any rate my name’s Richard and if you want I can show you around here assuming you’re not a regular student here. I haven’t seen you roaming the campus grounds before so I figure you're not too familiar with this place,” he spieled, talking a bit more than he usually did but he figured he hadn’t got anything better to do so why not? After all he might gain something, a name, a phone number, who knew? He certainly didn’t that’s for sure hence his reasoning to talk to this girl. So long as he didn’t “gain” any scratches from the cat he had noticed she was walking around with he’d be fine; the creature seemed docile at the very least so hopefully, so long as he didn’t irritate the cat, he’d be fine... hopefully.

OOC: You really put me in a spot where I have to be a jerk, Richard.

Caleb was quite annoyed when the desired effect was absent. She didn't smile, she didn't do much but nod and ignore his approach. Even one this ingenious. Perhaps his confidence in his roll-on had been misplaced. Still a bit stunned by the coldness of the girl, Caleb was at a loss for words, allowing her to drag the kitten with her. Leaving Caleb unsure of what to do next. Accept defeat and go take his shower or become a nuisance and bother the girl until she decided to talk. Caleb sent a longing look towards his dorm room before shrugging and turning towards the female again. Only to see another boy already on the scene and bumping into her. Talking to her, and if Caleb wasn’t mistaken, he heard a reference to himself. ”Cool Guy”. The boy made a mistake. Giving Caleb a good reason to be a jerk.

”Rude?-” Caleb said interupting the taller male. ”-You’re not rude, you’re just an asshole -” Caleb said with a harsh look at the taller guy. Making it pretty obvious that he had heard him. With an almost unnoticeable pause in his talking, Caleb directed both his words and his eyes at the female.”- is your arm alright?” His voice sounding softer.

OOC: And sorry for the shortness.

She walked slowly, as she always did, head hanging low, eyes fixed on the grass she stepped on. She was probably killing thousands of little insects at each step she took. Every now and then, she would glance over to Chouchoune, making sure the cat was still following, even though she clearly felt the resistance in the cat's leash as it walked alongside Melysa. Her eyes had that lost look in them when she looked down at her right arm. Having a cast over the hand your wrote with would make it difficult to start school. At this thought her left hand tightened around the leash, thinking back of Jessica in the hospital. Weirdly enough Melysa hadn't taken that much damage from the kicks those girls had landed on her compared to the mess they had left her friend in. Glaring at the ground again, Melysa began grinding her teeth together, not being able to get the image of her friend in the hospital.

That thought was cut short though, as someone randomly bumped into her. Raising a brow, Melysa recovered from the bump and stumbled back a little. Her gripped tighten on the leash as her eyes slowly crept up the man's body until she stared directly in his green eyes. Melysa's eyes were piercing his skull as she looked at him, left brow still raised. La fucking cours est pas assez grande?! ((The fucking school ground isn't large enough?)) Her mind was raging at the fact that these school grounds were huge, and still someone manage to disturb her by running into her like that. She tried to keep her anger and annoyance hidden, not really wanting to have more to do with this man.

She was completely facing him after she had stumbled a couple of feet backwards. Her right leg standing a little father then her left, gray kitten sitting by her left foot. Her blue eyes never left his green irises. Keeping that same soft glare she had been looking at him since the first second, Mel let her brow resume it's original and normal position. Melysa decided to let the man finish his excuses about the current event. Her grip loosened around the leash as he finished speaking. Thinking he was done, Melysa went to bring her right foot forward and try to resume her walk when he began speaking again. Criss que le monde parle icite.... ((Chist people talk alot here....)) Melysa was used to her other highschool, where gangs stood with their own friends, and no one talked to other people. Here, everyone seemed too... opened.

At his comment about the male who had previously talked to her, Melysa slowly brought her eyes down to Chouchoune, sure it was impolite to look away from someone when he was talking to you, but she didn't care so much about that. Though at his request of Melysa giving up her name, her eyes snapped back up at his face. Her glare intensified, wondering what the hell this man was thinking about. Excuse me? Melysa actually thought this one in english, since she is french, for her to think in english meant something. Was this how this place functioned?! People asking strangers name out of the blue? Just cause they bumped into each other!! Damn was this place different, in her old highschool, you can talk to people for about a week before saying something like : Oh my name is ... by the way, what's yours? While here, a quick meeting and now were acquaintance? This was weird to Melysa... and not the weird she was attracted to.

Chouchoune just minded her own business, began walking until the leash didn't allow her to go further. She went in circles around Melysa while this man had been talking to her.
Melysa felt the leash move around but had stopped paying attention to Chouchoune after this man asked for her name, though she still saw her gray companion approaching this new guy and sniff shoe. Chouchoune fell on her side, like she did all the time, and began hitting the loose lace of his right shoe with her right front paw.
((Ooc: Allow me to powerplay and say you have shoes one... If you don't mind.))

Footsteps were heard approaching from behind and closing up on the two. Slightly glancing backwards, her blue irises spotted the previous stranger advancing towards them. Again, raising a brow, Mel thought Pourquoi est-ce que le monde me parle....? ((Why are people talking to me....?))
She quickly looked down at her body, seeing her breast in view, for they were pretty big. She pulled her upper body backwards a bit so she could she her stomach down to her shoes. Is this why? Shrugging as if she was answering her own question, Melysa took a step to the left, so that the three now formed a triangle, since she didn't want to be caught in the middle of this now growing, or so it seemed, conflict.

Blinking twice, Melysa was surprise at how quickly the first man (Caleb) had changed the subject. He went from bitching at the other to being concerned about her. Both brow rose this time, giving her a mix of a surprised and questioning looked. Again, she simply nodded, even though she was obviously lying, her arm was in a cast for christ sake, not sure it was in a perfect and healthy condition! But again, not wanting to have anything more with the two, Melysa didn't want to get into the details. And that if she did, her personal life would get involved... and no one... again, NO one knew shit about her personal life, other then her foster parents, not even Jessica knew of her life before their meeting.

Melysa took an other step back, just in case those two gorillas would go at it.

((Ooc: My character doesn't talk much, sorry if this doesn't give you guys a lot to build on...))

Edit : ((Ooc: Shit I wrote a lot....))
OH and Godlike : Quote : "Perhaps his confidence in his roll-on had been misplaced" You made me laugh so hard people in the library stared at me for a while. Didn't expect that :P

OOC: OMG WHAT THE FECK YOU GOD MODDER YOU SAID I HAD SHOES ON! I'MMA REPORT YOU! Sarcasm aside, it's all good if I don't mention it so long as it isn't ludicrous I'm cool. That and you let me do something with yo cat, I'll change if you don't likey.

IC: 'Quite the glare she has there,' Rich would comment mentally as the girl in front of him stared at him so intensely perhaps she was staring into the depths of his soul. Unlike most people who would be offended by such a glare he merely returned it with no expression, simply staring at her with no emotion present in his own stare. Regardless as he continued speaking and had noticed her looking down to her cat, he had glanced down as well just a tad worried that perhaps said cat wasn't too crazy about him. Luckily enough it seemed as though the cat was merely sniffing his shoes, identifying whatever scent happened to be on them, perhaps some Tide or whatever detergent he had decided to clean his shoes with, he certainly didn't remember.

No because his attention was soon directed toward "cool guy" who out of the blue decided to have a little outburst, his anger obviously directed toward Richard. Mentally Richard laughed at 'cool guy's' statement, noticing the glaring contradiction immediately and feeling the need to obviously comment on it... he found an idiot and he was about to bust his balls,

"So let me get this straight... I'm the asshole when I apologize for accidentally bumping into her and refer to you as 'cool guy'? Hmmm I suppose I am an asshole indeed for complementing you, after all who would want to be called 'cool guy'? I mean it's not a phenomenal nick-name or anything, no it's really insulting because cool means a number of positive adjectives so obviously you'd have to be angry about that. Woe is me I'm such a buffoon I really wish I was blessed with the same amount of intelligence as yourself, especially since you apparently don't put on enough deodorant, that's a really charming quality I hear!" Richard spieled, deciding to end his witty and insulting rant there. The more important matter was holding his breath slightly so he wouldn't pick up that funk in the air.

Regardless from what he could tell this girl was more than likely a lost cause, one of those "Boohoo I probably had a harsh life so I'mma be a bitch to everyone else" chicks that was impossible to get along with,

'Though I suppose I'm the same if I'm not faking my emotions... either that or she's PMSing but hey who knows? Don't have enough information to make any real conclusions yet,' he would comment to himself mentally. That nagging thought made him decide to turn his back toward the other man, instead turning toward the woman walking past her and making sure not to bump into her this time,

"By the way if your cat over there is a companion you like to keep around with you at all times, he might be a tad difficult to keep in this school assuming you're going to be attending here soon. Faculty isn't exactly kind to rule breakers but if you need any help making sure you or your friend stay out of trouble's way just ask me and I'll assist you. Regardless, I-" once again he spoke but now was interrupted by none other than the little kitty who had scratched him on his leg slightly. It wasn't enough to hurt but to get his attention and he wondered why exactly the kitty was scratching him now...

'Oh that's why,' he thought as he spotted his shoe lace on his right shoe had come undone at some point. The culprit of the leg scratch was having fun with said shoelace, pouncing at it again and again, not likely to run out of energy soon and pinning him to the spot he stood ground on. He sighed lightly, almost about to chuckle at the display of "hunting prowess" before him but he quickly dismissed it not allowing himself to show more than half of the smile that had almost crept upon his face. No it was replaced with his normal faceless expression that could be best described as solemn, the face that showed no emotion at all and was as lifeless as the Sahara,

"Le fait de s'amuser à cet endroit?" Richard questioned the cat, hoping that maybe if he spoke a bit of French to the cat it'd calm it down a bit. While his French wasn't that great, and he was only able to say something simple like he just did "Having fun over there?", French was supposed to be the language of love so perhaps it would soothe this "savage beast"... either that or make him look a bit odd for suddenly changing languages... though he did need the practice anyway so it bothered him very little.

OOC: Maybe that'll grant a lil more interaction from ya ;p!

Caleb was largely ignored by the girl. But apparently everything was largely ignored by her. Except the kitten. But the girl wasn’t important right now. What was important was the mind-numbing long rant by the stranger, who had taken quite the offense to being called an asshole. Caleb actually smirked at some of the things that he said. Quite on the far-side some of his remarks. Patiently waiting for the finishing punchline, Caleb just said a sentence that was a good chunk shorter and much more precise and less inspired by Dr. Cox and his hilarious rants.

”Woah, a bad case of diarrhea right there. And, I called you an asshole because you spew crap like that.”

Caleb said with a minor smirk before turning away from the dynamic due. He had lost interest in staying there. The girl was too cold and absent and the boy was too interested in the thing between her legs to give him a noteworthy mental fight. So it was better to get out of there before it got too pathetic between the two males.

”Oh well, see ya around peeps, gotta jet, apparently my deo isn’t working.”

With a roll of his eyes he walked away. Returning to his dorm room to get naked and finally hit the showers.

OOC: Short, writers block. *Dies* and I figured it would be best to leave you two alone.

Ooc: O.o don't leave?!
>.<
Bye...

And Richard : Good thing you translated that, your french is... real bad :P
--

Melysa's brow met when this new male, Richard, began to rant at the other guy, Caleb. This scene was become very dull. Male getting their hormones fired up so little. All in all, Melysa's discovery of a new school turned out to be a male brawl over nothing. This one though, Richard, was taking it to an other level, he didn't stop talking and bitching, it was... not even amusing anymore. Her brows rose as he mentioned that last part, about Caleb smelling.
On her part, Melysa didn't smell anything.

Odd.

She now began to be annoyed by this newcomer. He reminded her of those jocks she had had in her previous school. She disliked them all... Attention whores... Her lips tightened, teeth grinding. She had a short temper... Yes... But that's the way Melysa was. She wasn't a bitch, she wasn't a dumb fuck, she just didn't care. She didn't care what other thought, she didn't care how others felt, she barely cared about herself. She was born this way, simply put. Emotionless, to a certain degree.

At Caleb's reply, Melysa tilted her head. She wasn't used to all this commotion, yet his reply was kind of well put, or so Melysa had understood. Her eyeslids blinked three times as Caleb seemed to have enough of this and turned around to leave. Yer intelligent lui... ((Intelligent move)) Her eyes followed Caleb as he turned around and walked away. This actually gave Mel the thought of doing the same, since this guy over here, Richard, seemed like he was in a pissy blow off steem mood, and Melysa didn't want to get involved.

As he began talking once again, this time, a little calmer then he had two seconds ago, Melysa's eyes shifted towards her beloved Chouchoune. And so her question had been answered, your not allowed pets. Melysa would have to wait until someone with some power around here to actually let her know, till then, the cat wasn't leaving her side. She tugged on the leash a couppl of times to get Chouchoune off of his shoe lace she seemed fond of. Melysa was wearing flip flops, no shoe lace to pull on here.

Chouchoune's eyes widened as she was jerked back. She meowled a little, though not out of pain. Melysa brought her eyes back up at Richard as he... tried... to speak french. A brow rose on Mel's forehead, that was a pathetic attempt... yet he still tried. Melysa was now wondering how he had known she spoke french... Or was it just a coincidence? Most likely.

Melysa looked far to the left, where she had intended to walk to in the first place.
"Desole, je dois y aller."
Not bothering to speak english, Melysa turned towards her left and began walking. Nothing more would come out of this conversation, and this male did not peek her attention at all... if he did, it wasn't the right one.
And so Melysa just left Richard there, walking at her usual slow pace, head looking down, eyes fixing the grass. Then something flicked through her mind, when that guy had bumped into her and continued all of this... socializing... and so Mel kept her head low but brought her eyes upwards a little, to see better what was in front of her.
Now that she had had a tasted of the students, she felt bitter about the school now... Hopefully the students she had just encountered didn't reflect what the school had in stored for her...

((Ooc: Yeeeppp.
It's over bud. ^.^ Until next time!))
