Steven smiled as the car pulled up into the car park shared, by the three different schools of the collective. It was strange, he was going to be here without any friend for a long time. Looking over his shoulder to the back seat of the car, Steven's smile grew wider. He didn't know why they insisted on coming but his three best friend from Manhattan wanted to be with him on the day he started at O'Hare University.

Swinging the door of the car open Steven stretched his arms out and let the sun beam down on him. "You sure you got everything Steven. I know we brought most of your stuff down last week but I just want to check." James, Steven's cousin said stepping out of the drivers seat and leaning against the car, as his friend got out the back. "Yeah I've got everything, I just hope there is enough books here to keep me going." Steven said with a smirk.

A blond guy around his own age, came up beside him and lightly punched him in the side. "You come visit now." Lee said laughing as Colin and his girlfriend Sarah opened up the boot of the car, pulling out Steven's last two bags of stuff. "Catch." Colin said throwing the backpack to Steven. Catching it he swung it on to his arm. "You guys didn't have to come all this way you know." Steven putting a hand to the back of his head in a bashful manner.

"Oh be quiet, we wanted to, we ain't going to see you for a long time after tomorrow." Sarah bring Steven other bag round the car and putting in down by his feet. "We coming down here tomorrow in the morning before we head back to the airport, but after that." She said slowly starting to sound on the edge of crying. "Come here." Steven said pulling her into a hug. "All of you." He added, and Lee joined quickly Colin kind of shy but joining in. "Now get out of here" He said playfully. "I'll see you in the morning and there no point you coming with me just for me to sit around for the night." Steven said bending down and picking up his other bag.

"He's right, it won't be long till the sun goes down, and we all have a flight tomorrow afternoon, we should get back to the hotel." Steven's cousin said. Slowly after a few more goodbyes, Steven's cousin and friend left, and Steven started walking to the park like area, planning to take the long route to the University and his new home.
