"Yeah. And believe me, I've been considering that. But then you'd just up and revive me with your life, after. Just like I will, you, if you go through with this."
Aryn's eyes swerve to Tyler and her brow arches a little higher.
"And I can't let you commit suicide when they are going to be executed one way or another. You've been so far gone into guilt and everything else that you're not in any mental state to make a decision like this...and I just about let you."
She looks back to the Albino.
"Wouldn't suppose it's anyone I know, but, d'you know the names?"
She points at him - touching her finger to his nose - and stares a moment.
"The one you were honestly trying to kill was Trent, he's the one that duped you, and he's dead. Enough is enough, Tyler. The one that's choosing to take a life now isn't you, it's me. You can wind up hating me if it makes you feel better, but I'm not going to stand by while you commit suicide. I'm just that selfish, yes."
...she should have just knocked him out to begin with.
"And not feel the slightest bit guilty about that?"
The only problem with this situation, right now, was that if he knocked her out, she'd have a hell of a time finding the Albino. And...
"Tyler." She begins, if only to try and appeal to part of him that might listen. "Wouldn't you want to talk with Audrey again? Maybe find some solace in seeing her alive and healthy?"
She can hear the scrape of the chair and she's not happy.
"Of course. And I don't want to leave you either. But that would be selfish. This is the best way, the only way without getting more blood on my hands."
Aryn moves to set her hand on his shoulder and gives a squeeze as he does so.
"The way you're so adamant on doing it actually makes me wonder about that, Tyler." She frowns, "Besides, how do you think Audrey would feel about you offing yourself to bring her back? I'd have to tell her."
