Name: Tiao Lei Shen Alias: Tiger of Hircine Date of Birth: 07/12/91 Age: 17 Nationality: American Ethnicity: Chinese Blood Type: B- Height: 5'10" Weight: 169 lbs. Hair Colour: Black Eye Color: Brown Handedness: Ambidextrous Sexual Orientation:[/ul] Straight
Physical Appearance:
Tiao isn't the largest person around but he is one of the hardest. Though his muscles around large in mass, they are extremely high in definition and density. Tiao's muscle groups have layered upon one another, building a very strong and sleek muscle tone, with barely an ounce of fat on him.
Tiao typically wears a simple pair of jeans, sneakers, and a long sleeve T-shirt. On colder days or nights, Tiao will wear a green khaki jacket over it. Between his physique, style, and attitude, Tiao Lei Shen has always been considered one of the better looking students in school, and he can play that charisma card to his advantage if he wishes. While training, Tiao is known to adopt his former apparell, known for its lightweight and loose fitting nature. This encompasses traditional silk pants, and a tight sleeveless white chinese top that clings tightly to his chest.
Personality:
Throughout the last few years of Tiao's life, his personality has spun in circles. Though there have been changes, distinct features have always remained the same as well as forgotten traits resurfacing.
Tiao remains brutal and merciless when it comes to physical confrontations. Though his "angry vibe" is still given off in most cases, it can fluctuate back and forth from an explosive rage to an intense silent one. Tiao remains independent, not bending to any authority but his own as well as remaining very territorial to all that is dubbed "his."
Miscellaneous Information:
Tiao Lei Shen often cracks his joints, or flexes his hand to relieve pressure and excentuate blood circulation. Other wise, Tiao will often become stiff and sore, the body conditioning hardening his joints if he doesn't excercise them regularly.
Tiao is also extremely picky about what he puts into his body. Raised to believe his body is a temple, Tiao doesn't drink alcoholic, carbonated, or caffeinated drinks. Along with that he doesn't smoke, partake in drug use, or eat any type of junk food. Tiao keeps his body in the best physical condition possible.
Tiao is fluent in both American English and Mandarin Chinese dialects, as well as some very limited knowledge of the Japanese language. Time spent around the border has also made him able to pick up a bit of Spanish as well, though only enough to understand a few words here and there, as with Japanese.
Combat:
[/b] Northern Shaolin Kung Fu- Not exactly raised in a soft family, Kung Fu was just another daily chore made mandatory by his father. This intense practice everyday has carried on throughout his life and into the present. Tiao is proficient in several sub-styles of this art, including the Tiger, Snake, and Crane animal forms.
The tiger claw is often used in striking with his palm or grasping/tearing at a limb. The Crane hand formation is used to hit certain parts of the body as well as giving him the elegant grace of the crane to match the strength and speed of the tiger. The snake brings a flowing motion to his movements, and pinpoint accuracy to the pressure points. In addition to these, Tiao has been trained in Kempo and Wushu, giving him hard punches and quick kicks.
Weaknesses: By relying on speed and technique, if he is caught in a game of sheer brute force of someone larger he would likely lose. He lacks the dexterity of many other fighters. In addition, due to the conditioning in his limbs (hands in particular) his joints often become sore and stiff making joint locks and holds more painful than most.
Strengths: His body is conditioned to an unbelievable point, his hands able to retain grips on much, much larger men than he. He is incredibly fast and almost always accurate, giving him all the power he needs to take down anyone else, regardless of his lack of mass.[/ul]
History:
Depending on who you talk to, Tiao Lei Shen is either a legend or an enigma.
For those that knew him before the transfer, or at least knew of him, could tell you as much about him as Tiao could--if he was willing. In the West Coast city of San Fransisco, there wasn't a soul who was associated with the education system that didn't know his name.
Tiao Lei Shen grew up in a strong and proud family of Chinese Americans. He was the only son, therefore with 100% of his father's expectations on his shoulders. Homelife aside, Tiao Lei Shen was popular growing up, being both the most outgoing and athletic student in his class. This continued on all the way through and up til his highschool days.
Chosen by Hircine Hero Darren Blayne, Tiao became arguably the most powerful pillar of all time in the halls of Hircine High. Together, the two of them ruled fairly but without compromise. This created peace wouldn't last come time for the Varron transfer, landmarking the beginning of Hircine High's constant cycle of troubles. Riots and Marshal Law came in the dozens, Tiao still triumphing alongside his Captain time and again, even rumored to have been involved with the death of Principal MacMillan during one of the largest riots ever documented by the System.
As time went on and the school system changed, so did Tiao Lei Shen. Once relinquishing his pillarship title as his captain graduated, Tiao Lei Shen fell into a loner's lifestyle, having constant contact with only a select few. Among these select few was a girl Tiao expressed genuine interest for, and while he didn't pursue it his feelings were very much real and extremely rare. This girl ended up being sexually abused, and while it became a conflicted issue for those involved, it continually enraged the Tiger of Hircine.
Facing student-placed contracts on his head, Tiao's tension continually increased. These tensions would finally find their peak during the Velocity Outbreak, where Tiao would face off against the dangerous cannibal and organ trafficking frontman Garrett Avci. Upon defeating the feral giant (with the help of outside fire from unknown origins), Tiao snapped the dying man's neck and took his first life.
Not many heard from Tiao after this incident, which was quickly buried by the following terrorist bombings in the schools. Seperating from his family, Tiao made his way to the Chula Vista Collective for "business." When asked to elaborate, Tiao only provided the smallest of smirks, leaving the rest to speculation.
