She wipes the other forming tears way. She takes a few deep breaths to calm down some and turns back. When she speaks, her voice is still shaky. "Forgive me, Director... i am not the best with emotions." She shook her head. "That is why i want to become so good of an agent one day. " She looked down again and then adds. " I still have a lot to learn. " She smirked sadly but is not calm enught.
" Burn out how? " Susan asked not really sure. " Pace myself... i understand. " She nodded and thought for a few seconds. "Will the business and singing become a mental distraction as i get more experienced? i am concerned that i would have to only focus on the training and missions. " Susan told the Director. " How do you see this situation? " She asked.
" I see. " She can not hide a small smile. " That is actually great... and i already love what i do... but i am afraid that the enemies i will get as an agent... will target my civilian life. How could i avoid that... by wearing a mask? " Suan smirked, holding back a smile. That was not a bad idea, actually.
" When would i be able to go on more dangerous missions? " Susan asked after a few seconds, now being serious again.
"Dangerous missions come after you've had a few of the easier ones finished. We need to see how well you do before throwing you out in places you might die."
" Director... i am very hard to really injure or harm " Susan said but then nodded. " You are right, easy is always better to start off with. " I can not decide what kind of mask would be good for me actually. " Susan said with a frown.
" I am ready and willing to take more hits. " Susan said seriously. "Heck... i took about a dozen bullets and two impalments so far... but it hurt like hell and took me a while to heal " Susan said with frown. It was natural for her but i might have been shocking for others. She then shook her head slightly. " It is alright... but sometimes i can not decide even small things. " Susan frowned, blushing slightly.
(I'm assuming this is chronologically after the matches but before the Miami kids leave, but if that ends up not being a thing we can nuke this/retcon stuff.)
Aaron lets himself in, with a respectful nod. "Sir. I checked up on the other matches, after mine."
He takes a moment to steel himself, taking a breath and drawing himself up as much as he can. "I know this isn't my place, but I wanted to ask you not to expel Skylar and Murdoch like you said you'd do to anyone that lost."
Why, huh? That could be tricky. Would he start with the fact someone good at remembering things has no business being expected to beat someone with super strength in a fair fight?
"It was a close match, sir, and they tried their best, especially when Murdoch doesn't even have a combat power. If they got dumped onto the streets without any further training, what good will they be able to do? They'll have learned nothing."
