Seth is certainly not built for speed, his muscles making him too bulky to be as agile as those smaller than him. Even in his older age, Seth continues to train himself almost religiously, keeping himself in great condition in a dangerous world. Cosmetic: Seth has been known to wear old fashioned clothing, more often than not a white dress shirt, black vest, and a red/black tie, or switching out the white shirt for a black one with white stripes. Personality: Completely self-absorbed. Nothing that Seth does is for someone's benefit other than his own, which in turn can make him either very easy to predict, or very difficult. Most often a very cold person when involved in some sort of a confrontation, Seth is otherwise a charismatic yet manipulative individual. With the birth of his children, Seth’s attitude has changed somewhat. No longer does he solely think about himself, but instead, he puts his family first. Interests: Smoking, gambling, womanizing. Skills: Manipulation Coercion Charm Very powerful Fairly high endurance Intelligence Abilities/Powers: Gravity Manipulation. Seth can alter the gravity of any complete object or individual pieces to either three hundred times their normal gravity, or negative one hundred times their normal gravity. The more extreme the change in gravity, the less time he can sustain the effort. History: Originally sent to Paradigm to watch for potential troublemakers, Seth attempted to take Director Scott’s life and took his place as Director for a time. He was eventually outed and fled, confronting Paradigm several times as part of the Sons of Judas, though he betrayed them as well in order for Paradigm to defeat their leader, Sebastian. Afterwards, Seth would work for Paradigm once more as the Director of Defense, overseeing power training for agents, as well as having to deal with Sebastian once again after his and Mae-Lim’s daughter Freya had been kidnapped. This in turn would cause the Calloway’s to take exceedingly cautious care of their children, Freya and Silas both, ensuring that they would be able to handle anything this world could throw at them, powered or not. Now retired, Seth watches over his bar in San Francisco, the Lion’s Tooth, only occasionally becoming involved in Paradigm’s business. Appearance: Personality: Mae-Lim is a strict and protective mother to her two children. While a lot of it was spurred on by the kidnapping of Freya as a baby, she likely would have still been like this if not a tad more lenient. She expects a strict dress code from her children, as well as a level of manners in her presence. Her inability to show much emotion has had an obvious effect on her children, something she does not regret. Like her, she has wanted them cautious and merciless in order to survive this world. Especially so for Silas and how he did not inherit any powers. Abilities/Powers: Constructs (Melee Weapons)- Mae-Lim can morph her entire body into any melee weapon she chooses. Even her hair. To compensate for probable damage, she also has regenerative abilities to fix herself up. History: Mae-Lim's history with Paradigm itself is a short enough one. Being part of Seth's gang at the time, she became part of a branch of the Sons of Judas, earning enough favor with Sebastian to be present in his inner circle. Of course she was conspiring against him along with Seth and Conner. Paradigm, not knowing this, captured her in order to lure Seth in. During that time she tried to warn Aryn that Paradigm was making a mistake. With the help of Tiao and Seth she was able to escape. During the final battle against Sebastian, Mae-Lim used her then ability to sap powers to steal Sebastian's power from one of his clones before killing the clone. The psychic backlash caused by this was the pivotal moment where Paradigm could finish off the Prime Sebastian once and for all. Or so it seemed at least. Years after that moment, Mae-Lim kept away from Paradigm, lost her power to LIFE, accidentally gained a new one from a feisty sentient power that wouldn't leave her alone and then had her first child. Freya's birth calmed Mae quite a bit, and for a while she was almost a nice person. However Sebastian's sister orchestrated the kidnap of her daughter and Mae was brought back to the viciousness she'd been known for. When she and Seth saved their daughter, Mae became far more obsessed with keeping the baby safe. Two years later, Silas would be born, and her constant cautiousness was likely felt by the baby. Especially once they found out Silas had no power. She insisted that Seth teach him how to defend himself as soon as possible, while she herself would warn him about people and their intentions. Freya (mostly upon first meeting) conducts herself in a charming and polite manner. She unfortunately shares her mother's temper, a small flaw that can easily shatter that perception. She comes off as very confident and a little posh. She adores to dress fabulously, and there's something in the way that she talks to people that makes you feel like she sees you as a child. Or at least something beneath her. Abilities/Powers: Telepathy and Telekinesis- Freya, despite her age, shows a lot of skill in her psychic powers. Particularly in the Telepathy region as she's being trained by Destiny. She's able to reach minds from miles away, but isn't quite at the level of spanning the globe yet. That likely won't be for several years still. So far she can at least search Chicago and some surrounding areas if left undisturbed. In terms of telekinetic skill, she's stronger than average people her age, but not to a shocking level. In terms of technique, precision and handling, she's surpassing expectations. Raw power however? Not quite there. That unfortunately is more of an experience thing, and there's no way for her to speed up the process. That just means she needs to play smarter rather than harder. History: First born child of Seth and Mae-Lim Calloway, Freya grew up a little over-protected. Mae had always kept a close eye on her, but the kidnapping that occurred when she wasn't quite 1 year old yet made things worse. Freya's first power had been evident since she was in the womb. Mae had always thought she could "feel" what Freya wanted. As a baby, Freya could quickly understand what was said to her. Even before she could speak actual words, Freya's actions would also demonstrate some high levels of understanding. When it came to learning to control her abilities, Tamara (aka Destiny) became her mentor and teacher. For a while, it was assumed Freya could only use telepathy, but they eventually learned of her telekinesis. She spends her time learning to use her psychic power with Destiny in the basement, "helping" her seek out new metas they can recruit out in the world.
