"Sam! Sam, you have to come quick!"

"...What? Why?"

"There's a fight in the cafeteria, and one of them is pretty big!"

The classmate didn't wait for another reply from Sam as he took off running, leaving the Knox cadet with no choice but to take off after him. Grabbing his backpack out of his locker, Samuel slung it over his shoulder as he began to jog down towards the cafeteria.

Let's backtrack a few years first, though.

From childhood til now, Samuel had always been a passive child. He was still assertive enough to never really get bullied himself, at least not for very long, but he pretty much stayed out of all frays. People tended to leave Sam alone, and in turn, he stayed out of other people's affairs as well. It was a simple life, but it was his. Not quite anymore, though.

Place a man in two similiar situations and everything changes. The first one, all Sam had to do was attend class. It just so happened that the specific classroom was also one chosen by a student terrorist to make his introduction known. Samuel hadn't seen him since that day, where in his own anger he chose to subdue him before the Headmaster had arrived to take him.

The second was a similiar, but altogether different situation. Take a walk and what do you come accross, but a giant. Not just any giant, but a tough ass one that's beating the holy hell out of someone else. Now, Samuel liked to stay relatively to himself, but only the heartless could walk away from a scene like that. Ten excruciating minutes later, no more harm was done, save for Samuel and Will themselves.

Returning to the present, Samuel's reputation had grown to a rather uncomfortable spot for the introvert. He didn't mind the notice, he was pretty indifferent about it, but he could have gone without the expectations. Now, any fight anywhere was his duty to break up. It was a grave he dug for himself and would reluctantly have to sit in. Thankfully, with a terrorist and a giant out of the way, a cafeteria brawl didn't seem so hard to break up.

Sam came just in time for what was probably the second or third punch to be thrown. Coming in behind the larger guy he wrapped his right arm underneath the other's armpit and around his torso. Twisting to the left he toss the guy down to his back, being sure not to slam him with any real force until he knew exactly what was going on. Sam took a step back from the larger one, finding himself having to shove the smaller one back with his right hand as he seemed to be out for blood to an extent farther than the larger of the students involved.

"Whoa, whoa, settle down. What's the problem?"

"That jackass has been on my ass all year! I'm sick of it! I'm going to kill him!"

"Screw you, buddy! It's called hazing, get over it!"

Samuel sighed, rolling his eyes as the two continued to bicker back and forth, proving to Sam that the largest role of a mediator was having the patience to waste your own time.

Leaning against the wall Conrad could only watch on as another freshman got bully again. A few minutes ago Conrad received a punch to the face causing a bloody nose. So as soon as this incident occur Conrad only pinch his nose close with a paper towel trying to make the blood stop dripping.

Watching the incident unfold Conrad, like many others, turn his head to see a giant behemoth come storming straight towards the fight. Conrad did not like people like him since guys with that kind of build normally have a huge unfair weight advantage in a fight. Also since they are naturally strong they tend to look down on help who are shorter then them. Sure Conrad is not as strong or durable as the big guy, but he is pretty good. Plus the smaller guys tend to be pretty vicious in a fight. Need proof? Just type midget muay thai on youtube.

Tilting his head back Conrad only grins as he watches the pathetic scene take place. Freshmen will always be picked on, and chances are the people getting bully this year will turn into the bullies next year. It is a rather vicious cycle, but that is life.

Removing the tissue from his nose Conrad tapped it to make sure that no more blood came out. Giving a few more sniffs Conrad gave a nod to himself confirming that the blood has stop. Of course another blow to the nose would just set it off again and if the blood got on his uniform he would be in a lot of trouble. However, Conrad’s tattoos often attracted a lot of trouble despite his good grades.

Moving off the wall, Conrad made his way to the freshman that seem to be about the same build if not a little stronger. Appearing on the other side facing the ‘mediator’, Conrad tap the shoulder of the freshman. As soon as the freshman turns to face Conrad; Conrad would move his right foot back, step slightly forward with his left, bring left hand up to guard, tighten right fist, and then perform a right handed cross connecting with the freshman’s lower jaw. As the freshman fell, Conrad move both of his hands to the top of the freshman’s head establishing a clinch in order to redirect the freshman’s face into Conrad’s right knee before allowing the freshman to fall to the ground with a bloody nose.

Looking at the freshman Conrad said apathetically, “You got blood on my pants. This means I am going to be running laps this afternoon for a dirty uniform.”

Bending down slightly Conrad perform a futile attempt at wiping the blood off. Suffice to say that most of the people where silent at this sudden act of violent and most people would not dare to question it. It is after all justice.

ooc: I decided to a little more to my post 8-)
