What kind of evidence would they need? What kind of evidence would they need!! Way too much. "Video documentation for a start." Steven started know what he was about to say would probably so long winded. "And most likely the convincing or hiring of some of the social science student, to do a study on the current school system structure." Steven said, slighting amused at his own unintended alliteration of most of the statement. "They would have to prove that the current school system lead to the naive belief that violence can solve anything and many other physiological and criminal behavior." Steven said finishing the first part of his explanation.
"Only when, we have a behavior study and enough video proof to back it up will qualified sociologists take interest. Once they do it won't be long before they come to the same conclusion that the current system is detrimental to the country nationwide." Steven said glad that he had read so much to give himself a basic understanding of sociology. "Only problem is we would need evidence from many schools to prove it as the norm, and getting people to get such evidence on our behalf would probably cost quite a bit." Steven said looking at his feet, a bit pessimistic at his own plan. It was the best he could come up with and had taken age to do think of just that.
Ryorin crossed her arms yet continued to walk as Steven mentioned the many schools working together.
"Not to mention it would cost money, but I'm more concerned with trust. Getting so many people from schools to work together like that, I'd figure trust would be a bigger issue. Money? Money's not much of an issue in today's world...Trust is a lot harder to come by."
A shame how trust, the most important thing in communication today, was hard to come by. Without trust, cities, states, even nations would be at each others throats.[/ul]
Yes, trust was important, but nowadays there wasn't enough trust to fill a cup and it a small cap Steven was thinking about, well no in truth it was, his mind had just stolen a line from a game based on a book series he like which fit what Shu had just said. Steven would like to have said, 'That with enough money trust wasn't needed.' But he knew that wasn't true in anyway.
"I know, the only person I trust enough to ask, in another school is my friend from my old school." Steven said, talking about Lee Sinclair one of the only people from his old school he called a friend. "What we really need is to find enough people in the collective, who will trust us, and ask them if they trust people in other school." Steven added on, not really believing the the words himself, getting people to trust them would be hard. Getting the people those people trust, him and Shu would be even harder.
It could work, and no one couldn't say it was large and ambitious idea, when it came to thinking Steven didn't like to do things big, it means you did less in other thing in the long run. "Anyway, before I get myself down, about hard far off this is. How much farther is the Golden Coral?" Steven asked.

It would be a difficult situation for any person, even Ryorin. In order to do this, they needed the support of many students, among other things. She would have to work with students she didn't like working with to get things done. It's why the system survived for this long. Students didn't trust each other to work together. They got their own people together in vain attempts to try to take the system down that the Staff and those who ran the system knew wouldn't work. They knew students wouldn't be able to put enough trust in each other for that kind of thing and Ryorin knew that would be the most difficult part. The question is, if the students did work together, how would the the system respond? Coercion? That seemed the most logical answer. If the students started to trust each other, put something in there to break the little trust they had away. Nothing is ever easy.
Steven's question broke Ryorin out of her long thinking trance. She had forgotten all about the restaraunt, which was something that never usually happened. Her stomach reminded her of that...and just on queue her stomach made a huge grumbling sound and Ryorin knew it wouldn't be long before her stomach turned into a demon who hungered.
"Oh, it should be just around the corner..."
Ryorin was surprised that didn't pass it while walking.[/ul]

Indeed as Shu had said, as they turned the corner, only a few shops down, on the other side of the road, was a decently large restaurant. It had large window that seemed to meet and door also of glass, and above them was in large orangery gold letter 'Golden Corral'.
"Pretty decent timing, I was starting to feel like I was gonna fall to the floor, from hunger." Steven said, heading toward what a crossing, and crossing the road as there didn't to be any car, and such like, not that much apart from the Collective's buses came down here.
Grabbing a handle on one of the glass door, he pulled it open. "Ladies first." Steven said and would wait for Shu to go through. Once she had he would follow. "If I can't be a gentlemen by paying. Do it other ways." Steven said quietly to himself.
It wasn't that busy looking. Yes a few of the larger tables were taking up a few tables, but the rest of the place was pretty empty compared to those groups.
She said with a joke, acknowlodging what Steven said about being a gentleman. At this point, she didn't care much. If Steven would pay attention, he'd realized the first side effect from hunger that Ryorin would have. That was a lack of manners and a lack of priorities, so to speak. It wasn't that she was without manners, she just rarely showed anything. All that she cared about, or more specifically her stomach, was food and she wouldn't be back to normal before that first bite.
She wasn't always like this, but public restaraunts seemed to have an effect on her, as well as being with people as well. When she met Berlin and Torque at the McDonalds some time ago, she was the same way, like an animal that wouldn't bother with anything else until it was satisfied.
And that was only one of the effects.
But, she held herself together and tried to keep herself as the two headed in an she signaled to the waiter that there were two of them for the buffet. The waiter than asked the two for a drink, which Ryorin asked for a Mountain Dew, craving Soda more than anything else at the moment. Ryorin didn't really like Coke, Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, etc. She enjoyed the green soda variety when she did drink soda.
She would pull a card out while Steven would ask for his drink. In a Golden Corral, you got a drink when you first went in, paid when you went and sat yourself. Golden Corral didn't have many waiters. It was more of a do it yourself restaraunt and that's what Ryorin liked about it. The food was already prepared, you could seat yourself and the only thing waiters did was refill your drink. It was perfect for someone like her and while the food wasn't the best, it was still really good food and worth it all.[/ul]

Steven laughed lightly when Shu commented about what she would be like if she went to long without food, and then waited as a waiter came along and asked what drinks what drinks they wanted. "Just a large glass of tap water please." Steven said after Shu had told the guy what drink she wanted and then waited as Shu card passed hands. It would have been rude to walk off to the buffet without waiting.
Once Shu was done paying Steven would head to the buffet and grab a plate. Serving himself a load of sliced ham and beef and a couple other different types of meat, and then some mash. "This is my sort of place." Steven said with a smile looking down at his plate. It was a lot of food, Steven could see himself coming back to this place in the future.
"Any preference on where to sit?" Steven asked instead of just picking randomly. He knew that some people had a habit of sitting in the same place all the time when eating out. Steven didn't quite get it, but he knew enough people that had done it in the past, he might of well asked.
Steven followed and sat down opposite Shu, put his plate down with a clutter, but not spillage of food. "Doesn't everyone. Anyway this place is pretty decent. Might come in again when I have a bit more money." Steven said picking the fork from his plate, twilling it with his fingers and stabbing it into a piece of ham.
Using the fork to fold the sliced ham in to what looked kind of like a cube of meat, he put the whole piece into his mouth, and after chewing, swallowed. "Might bring in some bread and make myself a load of sandwiches though." Steven said with a laugh, nothing beat a sandwich, to him just because you could them anywhere, and Steven had the habit to spend a lot of time in place not near places to by food.
'I wonder if they have tea here.' Steven though before dismissing it, why would a place like this serve tea, not many people at meat and mash with tea. In some regrades Steven was a walking, or currently eating cliche. "Thanks for paying by the way, it feels good to be eating a proper meal." Steven said with a kind smile toward the women before he carried on eating.
