Once finished Yeva would thank the Doctor and head out of the office into the lobby spotting one of the new junior agents from the test. The shadow manipulator Aaron Silverman. He was impressive during the trial, she decided to approach him.
Turned out she'd noticed him before he'd seen her come into the lobby, so Aaron looked up from his magazine to see her already standing there and talking to him.
"Oh, thank you; I did my best." Well, not 100% his best, what he sent against those robots wasn't all he was capable of, but within the confines of the exercise, and considering he had a team to work with... anyway, he put the magazine aside and gave Agent Maginhild a thin smile. "I thought I'd come by and check up on you, since you took a hit. How's your leg?"

"Well, we're all in this together. We have to look out for each other."
Still, he was glad she seemed to be okay. That wasn't the worst training exercise he'd ever been in, but a non-zero number of people had gotten hurt, and that felt like a black mark to him.
"I probably should've been more careful in there. I could've hurt you or one of the others really badly with those spikes."
He did stab that one dude, the one who'd jumped into their path when they were going around her, but he'd healed right up from it. Could've easily been nowhere near so lucky though.
Yeva was silent for a few moments after he stopped talking simply to take a breath or two and gather her thoughts on it.
"It would take someone with twice your experience at least to have that kind of control and precision to do even what you did. Which says wonders for your talent. For the situation the spike's were a good idea. We just need to figure something out for it's use."
"Usually I don't use that attack at all, or at least I blunt it, if we're not fighting the bots."
Because, you know, people could die. Maybe sometimes that had to happen, but he didn't want blood on his hands. Not yet, not unless it was absolutely necessary; Mom and Dad always said that at the end of the day, if only you or the other guy can go home alive, make sure it's you. But he'd never been in a situation where he had to yet, and hoped that wouldn't come up.
But there is a war on, after all...
"But thank you, ma'am. It means a lot coming from you."
