He was excited for the date today. He'd put in a bit of effort for this one. And had to portal in a few things, but he thought she would love it. He was trying to play into her interests at least. Eric was dressed much nicer than normal. Full on suit with a rose pinned to his collar. He thought he looked dashing, and his Mom would probably agree!
He'd lead her to the auditorium. Which was normally kept empty when there wasn't something going on. On the stage though would be several fancy looking displays of roses and candles. The seats were all empty of course, the show was just for the two of them. And in the middle of the stage was a coffin, wide open.
"I thought since you were so interested in death and stuff that it would be fun to do Eulogies for each other."
He snorts but leaves it at that as he made it to the podium.
"I don't think I've ever met anyone quite like Enyua Reagan. I've never met someone so full of life, so in the moment. Who takes so much pleasure in all of the small things in life. Who can see the beauty of today rather than dwell on the ugliness of yesterday. She was beautiful, inside and out. And she was taken from us far to soon.
No one could have expected that squirrel to know kung fu. And while she fought valiantly, there is sadly no counter for nunchucks. She was a fine agent. But more than that she was a friend, a lover, and an inspiration. I know that if she were here with us today she wouldn't want us to mourn her death, but to celebrate her life, and to look forward to all of the wonderful things that we have in store for us. Because she will always be there to share them with us, as long as we hold her in our hearts."
Enya tries her best to look very dead, but her smile doesn't leave. It becomes harder to keep her composure at the fact she died to a kung-fu squirrel, but apart from a few amused snorts, she hangs in there.
Once he's done, her eyes would flutter open.
"Ohh. That was so sweet. I would feel to happy so hear that in the afterlife!"

He said as he passed her, shooting her a wink before awkwardly climbing in to the coffin. Admittedly he wasn't as into this as she was. Or Rebecca maybe. But he could lay still for a few minutes. He'd even place his hands folded over his heart. Totally like a vampire.
Enya takes a moment to take in Eric's "dead" self.
"Ah. What can be said about my poor, dear, Eric? He was a master trickster with a love for magic and bringing smiles to those around him. He made friends easily, and just as easily captured my heart. Words cannot describe how much I will miss him, and how much everyone he's touched will also miss him."
She takes a breath, smiling a bit more.
"In life he fought, taking down the mime army that tried to turn this into a world of black and white. We are truly blessed for his sacrifice in keeping this a beautiful world. In death his fight will continue as he's drafted into the skeleton war! His flesh will nourish the world and his ghost will continue to haunt unsuspecting victims for all eternity! The last prank! The one that never ends!"
She throws her arms in the air.
"And at this point a blanket falls over your coffin and when it lifts back up you're GONE!"
He lost it at the end, unable to hold in his laughter. Was she really turning his funeral into one last magic show? Oh God if she was. This was the greatest funeral in the history of death! He'd sit up and just look at her with the biggest shit eating grin of his life.
"Are you serious? You turned it into a magic trick!?"
God he hopes his real funeral is that awesome.

"Well of course I did! I thought about you reappearing by having your corpse fly down suddenly from a rope like that chandelier in phantom of the opera but I think that might have been a bit much."
"You don't need to top it. You did an amazing job."
He pressed his hand against the side of the coffin after she had climbed in before moving back to the podium.
"What can I say about Eithne Reagan that hasn't been said before? Her courage was unwavering, her spirits unquenchable. I know I speak for many of us gathered here today when I say that without her I would not be standing here today. Never in all of my years did I dream that I would be lucky enough to find someone who completes me. To find someone so beautiful and sweet. So full of life that even after fifty years of marriage she was able to take my breath away.
While my heart breaks at the loss of my one true love, it also rejoices in the knowledge that she is finally able to go on one last adventure. And I can only hope that somewhere down the road I will be reunited with her again. Just one last time."
