Because Aaron was pretty annoyed about the thing with the pitching machine - oh, don't get him wrong, it was a good idea, but not just randomly thrown at him like that - but it would take more effort to make him actually angry. Well, going after him and continuing to pester him would only make things worse. Aaron sighs, guilt still gnawing idly at him, and once Silas is gone he reloads the pitching machine to continue where he left off. Might as well get some more practise in before he has to head to class. Keep at it until the balls run out. (End of scene?)
