At times too curious for her own good, she's grown wise from her misadventures and tested conjectures, and is often at odds with her desire to protect what knowledge she's gained and pass on her findings for the good of those treading a similar path. Armed with an ability that requires a great deal of responsibility to wield, she tries to remain as level-headed and objective in many, sometimes controversial matters. She carries herself to the standard of a god only because others feared her as one, and this has left a heavy toll on her perceived identity. Her actions and inaction has affected and taken away the lives of many, and she feels she'll never be able to redeem herself. But despite everything, especially after a phase of omnipresence and immortality, she's still a human. She snaps when pushed too far, she rambles when she drops her guard, and had gone against the law many times, empathizing with criminals and terrorists. After losing so many loved ones throughout her life, she has grown weary of internalizing her pain. She often tries to hang on to what few she has left in her life in attempt to not take them for granted like friends and family past... For better or for worse. She's a terrible liar. It makes her super uncomfortable to lie, and often in a burst of effort, the information may come out as ridiculous. Sarcasm is probably the most effective way for her to conceal information, if not omitting information altogether. Interests: Magic (in the sense of witchcraft and human-made illusions), Cosmology, Her Mysterious Origins Eugene Never Got Around To Telling Her, Food, TV/Films (more for the special effects than anything), Internet Culture, Video Games/Art/Animation (especially for inspiration nowadays), Animals Skills: Intelligence Expert Ever since high school, she's always had a knack for digging up information and investigation. Should her power not be an option and when her formidable Google-fu isn't enough, the relationships she's built over the years under her pseudonym allows her access to a wide variety of insights, should her internet comrades feel generous enough to assist this 1337-$p34|<ing $|-|!7p05+3|2. In high school, she was an information broker in The Network. Unconventional She always was an odd person who attracted trouble and constantly had to weasel her way out of it somehow. Sometimes she gets overwhelmed by all the possibilities she may come up with, but there's no denying that she has a knack for thinking outside of the box.  Abilities/Powers: Reality Warping At its core, her ability is actually magic (really) and she is a witch (yup), but it could be summed up as generating an ink that's described as primordial chaos goop and manipulating it according to her will (as a cosmic "fuck you" to the universe). In a way, it started out as perceiving and expressing a will so strong that it's hard not to perceive (or something like that) and as Valencia unraveled what her ability could and could not do... It turned out she could do a whole lot more than just cartoony mayhem. A lot of it is powered by her stamina, both physical and mental, and she's built a whole lot of it over the years. She's even streamlined her technique to perform feats using less energy. Magic being magic though, there's only so much she can "take" from the universe before the universe takes back. She lost her immortality and her ability to revive the dead. What She Can't Do She can't control the wills of others. There may be workarounds, like summoning something that might, but all in all, she can't mind control people or animals. She can only control what she creates. She can't change others. No changing people's forms into other things, no turning people into stone, no bewitching pre-existing things, stuff like that. She can put ink on people and change that, but only the surface. More on that later. Short Cuts Some things are easier to perceive than others, and usually, it's something with their own "realities" already established. The way Valencia sees it, she generates constructs, borrowing from fiction and makes them real. "Spells" - Usually accomplished through a "conduit", be it a physical object or through execution.     Celestial Brush Techniques     Dragon Shouts      Harry Potter Spells Conjuring - Generating objects and structures. They last a good long while, especially if made without the immediate intention of jumping consciousness to. Summoning - Generating living beings of many kinds. Some creations have their own skills and abilities, but the more complex they are, the harder they are to keep track of.     Individual animals     Many animals, from swarms of bees to murders of crows     Pokemon Dimension Warping - Much like how time is the expansion of volume, dimension warping is the altering of space. Less strenuous now after years of practice, but still challenging all the same.     Closed spaces are easier to warp.     Open spaces, like outside, is trickier to maintain.     Generating portals is a matter of making "wrinkles" in time and space.     She hasn't gone too too far in the worlds she's made... She sort of lost the ability to. "Transforming" - Not using her actual flesh and blood like she used to, but an extension of dimension warping. By coating herself in ink, she can manipulate the ink, and by changing its dimensions from the inside, she can be somewhere else while controlling the physical form. Jumping Consciousness - What is reality, but what we perceive? What is the self? Reality warping gets abstract. Her parents died when she was born, one from childbirth, the other from a car accident to the hospital. She was raised by her aunt and uncle. They later died during a cruise while she was in high school. She worked in several libraries. One of her employers died (much later). She had a white American shepherd named Riesling. He died from old age. Her godfather was an organized crime leader who tested an unstable serum on her. He got killed by her own hands. Her power was one of the first that gained sentience. She died after finally being split from her host. She had an African Grey parrot, acquired from one of her adventures, named Georgina. She got killed by an intruder from another world. Her husband got killed by someone she heavily suspects. She lost her high school friends. Some of them died. She made friends at Paradigm. Some of them died too. She made friends with various criminals. They died and couldn't be brought back. Ultimately, her life is a mess and she doesn't like talking about her past. It's really long and terrible, and only got worse as she wove in and out of Paradigm's history. She initially became Paradigm's librarian to practice her dimension warping and has been doing so since.
