"Makes sense. The bigger your power reserves, the more powerful each attack will be, because you can afford to put more of your power into whatever you're doing."
He looks like he wants to see this "best attack" but isn't sure he should ask.
He'd heard the stories. He'd been a baby, and his mother was out of Chicago with him on maternity leave, but Dad had been fighting in the city, taking out demons and protecting civilians. Aaron'd had nightmares about it.

If he has the reserves for it, Aaron will create a wall of shadows a little down the way from them, to provide Jack with a target if he wants one. He's watching closely.
Jack just keeps holding it the spear for a moment, then it suddenly flares brighter, the solid electricity giving off more errant sparks and flares.
"And this... is something I just call the great lightning spear. Same thing, but much stronger."
Taking a few steps forward, he hurls it like a javelin straight for Aaron's target, and the moment there's impact, the spear punches straight through and keeps going.
"If you say so, sir. I'll practise what you showed me in tutorial - safer there if my power goes out of control."
A tumbleweed would have blown by, if there were tumbleweeds in Chicago. "Do this again sometime? I don't know how often you'll have time to see me but I think I'll learn a lot."
Like to put his targets in the sky where nothing will get hit if attacks go rogue.
Aaron hadn't been sure what else to say. He's still looking in the direction the electric spear went, as if expecting signs of catastrophic damage down the road.
"I, um... I'll email you my class schedule and the times Mr. Amtrum expects to see me, when I get back to my pod. We'll figure out what works with both our schedules?"
