Silas wanders the grounds, looking for Valo. He didn't see a room having been assigned for him, so after spending some time just wandering he opens his holocomputer and runs a thermal scan to see if it picks up anyone hotter or colder than normal.
"I was thinking after our other meeting how heat sensitive hear could come in handy, such as an ice cluster grenade to freeze specific body parts or feet to the floor."
Valo takes the white disc and tries to pick it apart cautiously. He slides over the three clusters, roughly five inches in diameter, he currently has for Silas to inspect as well. All three seem to have different plating but that's all that's obvious from a glance.
"I get to cut out the middle-man, sure, but I don't think it'd bee too difficult for you considering..." He just motions toward Silas somewhere, but doesn't finish that statement.
He nods after he eyes what's inside, then casually reassembles it.
"The end-game is so worth it. Ever play any of the Batman: Arkham games from way back when? Freeze clusters? So intense."
Silas will see things he recognizes but the player doesn't exactly know how to describe! Just that they plating reacts harshly to his intense temperature change. He can take them apart, as well, and he'll see nothing but water within. Any typical agents for cooling/heating would be absent, as per his power.
"I don't play video games." That might be a lie and all of his gadgets might be based off Bat-family characters.
"But I'll move them higher on my list. So far I've been prioritizing based on who I come across. If someone proves to be an issue, they become a higher priority."
Valo gives Silas a look that reeks of sheer disappointment and disbelief.
"Makes sense. Well you've got a cluster prototype right in front of you - feel free to take one or three, try out a few agents to see what you get. I've got about fifty of these with slight modifications so trial and error won't be as much of a chore."
He finishes a fourth cluster and tosses it up in his palm. Then he cools his body down and chucks it at a nearby tree, and the cluster explodes into a slushy mess.
Silas takes off his belt and lays it on the table. There are now five disc colors: black, red, yellow, blue and white. There's a grappling gun and what looks like a laser tag pistol (though lacking in much of barrel so a label maker might be a more accurate description).
"Black is about as low tech as you get, standard shuriken. This-"
He pulls the pistol from the belt.
"-has been one of my more time consuming projects. It's a radiation gun that fires a condensed beam that specifically targets nerve clusters. It's based on a weapon of the same design from the Chthonic Empire, though my design is more portable requiring a longer recharge period between shots."
"Their higher powered rifles have a secondary lethal setting. To pack the same punch I would have to sacrifice the practicality of size. Perhaps I could build a much larger cannon, but it obviously wouldn't be practical for every day use..." He starts to think aloud.
"I won't tamper with your design, I'll just try and see if I can recreate it. If I can get my own, I'll return yours, and any changes I make, I'll record and send to you."
