After all, there was studying to be done. But unlike those who would spend their study time in the library, Zora has found herself in the records room, poring over old cases and assignments from her mother's era. Partially to fact-check Aaliyah's versions against recorded history, but also to get a better idea of the Academy as a whole. There's a saying about those who ignore History, after all. So she sits, back against a wall, leafing through first-hand reports in a manila dossier. Occasionally, her eyes flick up to the open door, ensuring no sudden surprises as she reads. She read silently to herself a bit as she does. "Hm," she snorts a bit, seemingly impressed. "The Academy's government funding was cut, and instead of obeying government orders, many agents chose instead to go on the run. When standard reclamation proved unreliable, an automated intelligence was utilized instead: Legion." She lets out a low whistle. "Standard reclamation - a.k.a. turning those who did come quietly on their former friends," she remarks, her tone surprisingly neutral. It's hard to tell just how she feels about that. The cloud of sand that once was Zora launches out in all directions violently as her clothes fall in a pile on the ground. She scatters in the air for a moment before returning to itself, swirling into a mini-tornado. The tornado swirls, condenses on itself, and whirls back into the pile of clothes. The clothes lift up, forming a vaguely human-shaped form before she reshapes inside of her outfit once more. She grins. "So, uh, yeah." His jaw nearly dropped. "Holy fucking shit! That is amazing. Can you control yourself fully as a sandstorm!? What happens if I jar part of you up as sand? Can you reform with other sand?
