What came out of it was a freeze gun of sorts that had a similar design, but different application. Having completed the build and copied down the design to the best of his ability, he figures it's time to give Silas his tech back, so he calls the guy to meet him as he goes through some of Paradigm's records. Valo is currently researching anything and everything Paradigm has on the Chthonic Empire's technology at a terminal, looking for anything the academy may have on file, or hopefully on hand for inspection at a later time. There have been reports of Chthonic agents using spherical devices as either the equivalent of bombs, effectively vaporizing buildings, or to destroy smaller obstacles in a red light. He doesn't like that Paradigm has nothing else on hand. "These bombs sound good, though, so..." Valo looks for any known Chthonic associates who have used them, as well as any other possible tech there may be. He also scoots over so Silas can broaden or limit the search if he chooses. There are also reports of the Empire using long distance teleportation technology to transport their operatives to foreign soil. Silas mentioned a recent mission, so it shouldn't hurt to check. He checks for any known bases, past and present, especially any that can feasibly be reached without requiring transportation from Paradigm.
