(OOC: Playing the announcer for this post only)

The SDCFL arena, a small arena in the eastern outskirts of San Diego. An underground fighter's league that is open to every willing and proven participant. Tonight will be their first major event. Ground Zero. Live on Internet stream, free for on their website thanks to region-wide advertising. Four fights would take place that night The MMA Title match, Steel Cage Title, the Hardcore Title match, and the Wrestling Title match. The arena was packed with students from the Chula Vista Collective. The cheers echoed throughout the arena as the Announcer made his way to the center ring.

"Ladies and Gentlemen! Tonight the San Diego Championship Fighters League presents Ground Zero!"

The crowd roared with excitement as the night had officially begun. Chants for the company and Ground Zero echoed throughout the location. Drinks were cheap at the bar, and catering provided by the near by reastraunt, Jesse’s Bar and Grille. The crowd settled as the Announcer started up again.

“Our third match of the night will be for the SDCFL Hardcore Championship Title!”

“Coming out first, weighing in at 169 pounds, standing at 5 foot 10, Tiao Lei Shen of the Dragon Dynasty!”

The crowed roared once more for the first contender. Signs, chants, and of course the occasional boo. The Announcer would give him some time to settle into the environment before introducing the next competitor.

“And as a last minute replacment for the Black Bishop, please welocme our mystery challenger, weighing in at 267 pounds, standing at 6 foot 5 inches tall, Pain Killer!”

A similar reaction would flow. None of tonight’s fighters would be known well enough to have a definitive position on the fighter unless they knew him personally. The announcer made his way out of the ring next to the two Commentators. Joe Style a small figure that roots for the under dog, with the catch fraise “OH MY GOD!”. With him was his partner “The General” Ken Savarro, former SDCFL wrestling, MMA, and Hardcore Champion. With everyone in there place (after their enerances) the bell would ring and the match was on its way.

(Sorry for no Bishop Tiao, hope this vet works just as well. You have until August 31st)

Tiao Lei Shen walked out to the ring casually, hands swinging slightly at his sides. He wasn't interested in any sort of show boating, or any damned "title." Coming into this, Tiao Lei Shen had heard of who his opponent was supposed to be, and was intrigued. It would play to his strategies, however. By destroying someone in front of a crowd, not to mention the streaming on the internet, it would reinforce his already raised reputation, deterring people from fucking with him in the future.

Upon hearing the announcer say Bishop wouldn't be in attendence, Tiao visibly grew a bit more dissapointed. He had heard things about the man, and wanted to test their validity. However, in the end it wouldn't matter. Tiao's purpose was still the same throughout. That is, until he heard who his opponent actually was.

Adam Rydell, AKA the self-proclaimed Pain Killer. The two shared more similiarities under the surface than what would be surmised. Pain Killer had put it best himself, they were both just dogs, Tiao in accordance to School Captain Darren Blayne, and he for the infamous movement of Stern Mason. Both men had come to their own, more or less, but in essence, they were both just violent dogs.

It was also true that the two had faced off once before. The last tournament he had taken part of in San Fransisco had ended with the two of them face to face. It was the hardest battle Tiao had ever fought, though he was able to squeeze out the victory. Though he'd never say it allowed, Tiao was sure it would have gone the other way if the fight lasted just another ten more seconds. Tiao currently had one up on Pain Killer, but only one thing was certain tonight.

The fans would get to see some blood afterall.

"I feel like an idiot."

Standing just out of sight past the entranceway, Pain Killer stared at the floor, shaking his head. Despite the fact that he enjoyed watching wrestling on TV, he'd never had the inclination to actually participate in such an event. Fighting in front of a crowd was nothing new, but having it hyped up so much was something different altogether.

But then again. I do get to fight him again.

A small grin made its way onto his face at the idea, despite his doubts for the moment. His last fight with Tiao Lei Shen had been entertaining enough, but the ending had certainly not been what he had been expecting. It had been his last fight in San Francisco, definitely not the way he had intended on leaving, ruining any momentum he'd had leaving that city. Now, he could rectify that mistake.

Torn out of his thoughts by the announcers voice, Pain Killer would head straight through the entranceway, ignoring the crowd and staring directly at Tiao instead. He wasn't here to entertain the masses, or even for whatever belt he was apparently fighting for. Instead, he was here to start his life in San Diego the right way.

Wait. This is a Hardcore title match, isn't it?

Slowly, a smirk began to form on his face, an idea taking shape in his mind as he neared the ring. Kneeling slowly, the self-proclaimed Pain Killer would lift up the apron of the ring, life he'd seen on TV so many times before. While keeping Tiao in the corner of his vision, he'd proceed to pull out everything within reach. Two chairs, a table, even one of the easily bent garbage cans, and in huge arcing loops, began tossing them into the ring, all but the table, which he would slide under the bottom rope. The crowd began cheering wildly at the display, loving the fact that things would escalate so quickly, and despite himself, Pain Killer found himself getting caught up in the moment, hefting the top part of the steel steps and chucking them into the ring, as well.

Feeling that he had enough options to work with for now, Pain Killer would pull himself up onto the side of the ring, pushing the elastic rope downwards in order to step over it and lessen the risk of Tiao attacking him as he entered. From there, he would take two large steps away from the ropes, shifting his feet shoulderwidth apart.

"Let's go, pup."

Unlike his opponent, Tiao Lei Shen didn't waste his time in front of a television watching oiled up men pretend to fight. Instead, he'd been drilled in the Chinese arts by his father, giving him the more refined skills in comparison of the two. Still, this didn't mean Pain Killer was to be underestimated, far from it. It just meant Tiao felt a little more out of his element as PK began to throw in random objects into the ring.

It was showboating at its finest. The more shit lying around, the more exciting the match would be in theory. Tiao wasn't sure how the crowd would react to a match like this that wasn't fake, but he was sure that either PK or himself would be very happy at the end of this, given the high probability of serious injury.

Among the items thrown into the ring was one of the chairs, to which Tiao picked up at his feet. While Tiao very much preferred his bare hands to weaponry, he was far from avoiding dirty fighting. Against a larger opponent, especially one like Pain Killer, he'd hold no qualms whatsoever. Obviously, Adam Rydell had intentions to use something as well. Otherwise, he wouldn't have added anything to the setting. Still, Tiao would wait for the verbal recognition from PK before beginning. It was one thing to fight dirty, but altogether something else to cold clock someone.

Hefting the aluminum chair in his right hand, Tiao would spin a quick counter-clockwise circle. Stepping away from his corner as he did so, Tiao would use the technique he gained from years of Hircine High's Track Team, throwing the aluminum chair accross the ring like a discus aimming squarely for Adam's torso. No matter where it hit, Tiao figured it would hurt. Best to aim for the largest target.

In hindsight, it would have perhaps been a better idea for Pain Killer to arm himself when he noticed Tiao grabbing a chair, rather than running his mouth as usual. Had he kept something with him, he could have easily blocked the chair whipping towards his body, causing no harm to himself in the slightest. Instead, it seemed he would need to actually get his hands dirty, so to speak. From one side of the ring to the other was a fair distance, enough for Pain Killer to have a fairly good idea of where the chair was heading, and as such, have a better chance of deflecting it.

Swinging his right hand up and to the right, Adam would palm the underside of the flying chair, swatting it aside, where it would crash against the ropes of the ring, saving the crowd from being struck by the spinning metal. Eager to return the favor, and relying on sheer distance to keep himself from getting attacked while doing so, Pain Killer would lift the steel steps he had thrown in the ring next to him, the top facing himself while the hollow inside faced away. He knew full well that, while the steps were hollow, the fact remained that they were still steel, and didn't bend or fold even when supporting the weight of men over five hundred pounds.

In short; it would still hurt, when swung properly.

Walking towards Tiao, Pain Killer would close the distance slowly, almost casually, holding the steps to his left in order to give him a clear view of his opponent. He was in no real rush to attack, as throwing the steps would likely only have Tiao dodge them. Instead, he would need to get within striking range before he would swing them, where he would rely on his strength to be able to manipulate the steps fairly quickly and easily. In the meantime, he was interested to see whether the Asian would pick up another weapon, or choose defend himself with his body alone.

With a swing of his bear paws, Pain Killer was able to swat the chair away. Tiao was dissapointed that the chair proved to only sting Adam's right hand at best, and it showed as he frowned. Still, he made no gesture to show he was worried about the situation. As Adam chose to pick up the hollow stairs, Tiao merely began to slip off his jacket. Casually, he'd slide it off his shoulders and into his right hand, balling it up at his side.

Just before Adam would reach the center of the ring, Tiao would sprint forward, punting the side of the garbage can into Adam's upper shins and knees. At best, it would cause Adam to trip and fall forward, knocking himself out on the steel steps. At worst, it would cause minor bruising and swelling to the legs depending on where it would actually it. At the same time however, Tiao would shove his right hand forward, tossing it directly into Adam's line of sight.

If it went accordingly, Tiao would be standing halfway between turnbucle and the center of the ring, still out of Adam's immediate reach as the jacket would cover his head and the garbage can slammed into his legs. Tiao intended on pressing any advantage he would get, but it would ultimately depend on how Adam would respond to such tactics.

OOC: Fine, fine, here's your post. Even though I was being nice and letting you fix your move.

IC:

The moment Tiao began to sprint forward, Pain Killer would push himself to move faster as well, relying on the fact that whatever Tiao was planning would have to be adjusted on the fly to make up for the rapidly shortening distance between the two of them. Pain Killer was certainly not a fast man, especially while carrying something as awkward as steel steps, but there would still be enough of a change in his momentum to make a difference.

If Tiao expected the easily bent trash can to force Pain Killer to trip, he would be sorely mistaken, as the large man would crash through the flimsy metal like it wasn't even there. Had it been a regular trash can, the Asian's intentions may have been realized, but as it was built to bend harmlessly over wrestler's heads, it would do nothing but let Adam know he'd been touched.

With Tiao moving closer as he kicked the trash can, however, Pain Killer would not go on the defensive, at least, not intentionally. Thrusting with his left arm as hard as he possibly could, Pain Killer would hurl the steel steps at Tiao, aiming for the middle of his body. This, in turn, would force the thrown shirt to hit the steps uselessly, but more importantly, the shortened distance and fact he was already in motion would make dodging the steel steps difficult for the Asian man to accomplish, at best.

Upon connecting his foot to the garbage can, Tiao's intentions of tripping the giant would be realized as a failure. Tiao, not quite the wrestling fan his opponent was, was under the impression it had been a normal garbage can, rather than the tin dissapointment it was. It seemed Tiao's throw of the jacket would also be met by a throw of Adam's own, in the form of the steel steps.

As Tiao's right foot would plant back down from the punt, his left foot would shoot straight up, coming down hard in an axe kick. Tiao's foot would turn the stairs back to an upright position, planting them firmly on the rings floor as he continued to press down with his left foot. Jumping off the stairs with that left foot, Tiao would pull his right knee up, propelling himself into a high flying knee strike.

With Adam running at Tiao as well, he'd have a great deal of momentum leading his chin straight into Tiao's right knee. Meeting with Tiao's forward momentum as well, the two would be on a straight collision in a matter of seconds. With both momentums set, it would be impossible for Pain Killer to dodge the attack, and almost as hard to deal with it straight on.

Tiao was as fast and precise as ever, knocking the steel steps to the mat without breaking his rhythm. A grin would begin forming on Adam's face as he watched his fellow dog run up the steps, apparently intending to gain some height with the move, though for exactly what Pain Killer would be unable to tell. Much in the same manner as his first fight with Dain, Adam's mind wouldn't focus on the possibility that his opponent was counterattacking, but rather, the fact there was a chance his foe was going to escape him.

Such a thought was simply unacceptable.

The moment the Asian leaped from the steps, Pain Killer in turn would leap upwards as well, having no clue of the attack that had been launched towards him, and instead intent on keeping Tiao from jumping over him by tackling the smaller man, forearms first. Unable to adjust in midair, Pain Killer would be helpless to avoid or deflect Tiao's attack, and as a result, Tiao's knee would catch Pain Killer in his overly developed chest, painful to be sure, but hardly the knockout blow it was likely to be if it had struck him in the chin. At the same time, however, the youngest surviving Rydell's forearms would slam into Tiao's stomach, hitting him with the combined momentum of both men.

Perhaps most importantly, the sheer size difference between the two fighters meeting in the air would force Tiao to be driven back, towards the very object that he had used to propel himself upwards. If the Asian gang leader had thought being slammed into the hood of a car had been painful, he was about to discover just how much more brutal things could become, as he would find his lower back slammed into the edge of the top steel step, the rest of his body landing in an awkward slope across the rest of the steps, ending with his head and shoulders landing hard upon the mat. To compound such an injury, the full two hundred and sixy seven pounds of Adam Rydell would land on top of him, driving his body into the edged steel. Tough as he was, even the infamous Tiao Lei Shen would be hard pressed to even walk after such punishment, much less continue to fight.

What happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object? Well in the case the immovable object was the self-proclaimed Pain Killer, that said force of Tiao Lei Shen wouldn't quite match up.

Adam's mass was far larger than Tiao's, and though Tiao's speed made up for that in his momentum, it still wouldn't be on even ground with Adam's. Tiao's right knee crashed into the center of Pain Killer's chest, likely painful even for him, but nowhere near the damaging blow that was intended. However, with both arms free, Tiao wasn't helpless as Pain Killer barrelled forward.

Even as the knee sailed in, Tiao's hands shoved outwards. Planting both hands on Adam's forehead, Tiao would extend his arms, pushing against Adam's head. Rather than pushing the larger man back however, Tiao's arms would shove himself backwards following the knee strike. As Adam's arms collided into Tiao's midsection, it would assist in Tiao's mid-air sprawl, sending him backwards at the lower torso first.

Tiao's feet would land back on the other side of the stairs, planting back firmly into the ground with his left leg in the lead. As Adam would no doubt be following down to the ground, ableit in a different position, Tiao would close his hands into fists, gripping handfuls of hair at the hairline. Bending his knees and violently tugging his hands downwards, Tiao planned on continuing Adam's momentum and redirecting his face into the steel steps.

OOC: I figure this'll be short, since it's just going to be the effects of what you did.

IC:

Precious moments ticking by, Tiao's hands pressed against Pain Killer's forehead, waiting until after his knee struck Pain Killer's chest before shoving against the youngest surviving Rydell's head. Strong as he was, Adam's neck would be no match for both of Tiao's arms, forcing his head to be pushed back and wasting even more time for Tiao to alter his fall. Finally, there would come a point where Adam's head would not go any further back, and would therefore give Tiao something to push off of.

Tiao's sprawl, however, wouldn't quite happen the way the Asian may have wanted it to. His arms pushing against Adam's head would serve to driver his own upper body downwards, as it was the only point he was pushing off of. Had he also attempted to drive his foot into Pain Killer's stomach, he could have also pushed his lower body away from Adam, but as he had not, only his upper torso would move away from Pain Killer.

With his knee already bent, and leg lifted up in order to land his attack, Tiao's lower body would not be driven back faster than the top, especially considering his own shove would have canceled out such a thing. Had Adam struck him in the hips, or if the two had still been on the ground, then perhaps Tiao's body would have reacted as he thought, but instead Pain Killer's forearms had struck the Asian in the stomach, bending Tiao's body like the letter "C".

With the gang leader's push against Pain Killer's head, there was a chance that Pain Killer wouldn't land quite as he had imagined earlier, sliding up Tiao's body and having his forearms rest against Tiao's chest and neck, but the tradeoff would be more than worth it, as the Asian would have driven his shoulders and neck into the steel steps with more force than before. There would be no time left to attempt another counter, as the entire ordeal would have taken place in a second or less.

With Adam's push against Tiao's direct center, it wouldn't propel his lower body back as he had intended. However, given Tiao's jump off the stairs, he was at a more elevated position in the air than the self-proclaimed Pain Killer. As a result, when his hands would push against Adam's head, they'd not only push him back, but at an upwards angle as well. Still, with Pain Killer's head unfortunately giving a little, Tiao wouldn't be able to clear the stairs as he intended.

This elevated position would give just a moment's longer pause before Tiao would collide with the stairs, changing the placement of impact back to the original. The center of Tiao's back would collide into the edge of the steel stairs as Pain Killer had intended. With Tiao's body bending like a "C" though, Tiao's rear end would collide with the mat just a beat sooner than his back against the stairs, not saving on any pain or injury, but avoiding permanent damage nonetheless.

Tiao Lei Shen was in a bad position, and he knew it as soon as the sprawl didn't go as planned. There was nothing more dangerous than a cornered animal, and Pain Killer would receive damage just as he dealt out to the gang-leader. Upon their descent, Tiao's hands would still yank down on the hairholds, pulling Adam's face down. In the milliseconds between Tiao's impact of his ass on the mat and his back on the stairs, Adam's face would be pulled directly into Tiao's right knee, as his right foot planted into the ground bending at a sharp angle.

Falling through the air, Pain Killer wouldn't be able to adjust as well as he would have wanted. While his head had been initially shoved backwards by Tiao, the pulling of his hair to bring it back down was proof enough that the Asian had bad intentions in mind for his head. The angle at which his head was pulled down would force him to take the impact on the chin, rather than the face, forcing his jaws to clamp shut, his teeth incidentally slicing part of the inside of his lip open. Rearing back slightly from the impact, Pain Killer would pull his knees under him and balancing slightly on the balls of his feet. His forearms would continue pressing into Tiao's stomach, holding the Asian in place.

That fucking hurt!

A red haze falling over his vision, Pain Killer would thrust himself forwards toward Tiao, both hands leaving their position on Tiao's stomach to reach between Tiao's arms. His right knee would lift upwards, looking to pin Tiao's left leg to the ground by the upper thigh. His left hand would grab at Tiao's throat, while the right hand would palm the boy's face. Squeezing both, Adam would drive Tiao's head back, aiming to slam it into the steel steps. First blood may have been drawn by the younger man, but Pain Killer would make sure his opponent wouldn't be able to stand at the end of this fight.

Tiao felt the bone on bone impact between his knee and Adam's chin, knowing that it had to have hurt even the man known for pain tolerance. However, Adam was able to fight through the pain and daze of a straight on chin shot and continue an attack, giving Tiao no choice than to fight through the pain in his back as well.

More than a little uncomfortable with the edge of the stairs in his back, Tiao dropped to his right side, placing his right hip on the mat and creating more space between the two of them. Extending his right leg, Tiao would wrap that around the back of Adam's quad and atop the back of his knee, pinning that leg to the ground as he pulled his left knee in, placing his shin against the front of Adam's hips. This way, it kept Adam from passing any sort of guard right away, or easily pinning his legs to the ground.

As he dropped to the side, Tiao's arms would both slide down to Adam's left arm, as it was the closest one to him. As Pain Killer would attempt to bring his hand to the asian's throat, Tiao's hands would grip Adam's arm above the elbow and below on the upper forearm, pulling and pushing it to his left (your right), and causing him to either plant that hand against the stairs or get pulled into them. This would also prevent Adam's follow up attack, as he wouldn't be able to reach all the way accross his own body to reach Tiao in their current position.

If all went accordingly, Tiao would hold Adam's arm in its positing just long enough to place his right foot against Adam's hip and push off, sending Adam off balance to his right, even just slightly, as Tiao would slide himself away from the giant and roll back to his feet.
