Caleb had been working hard all morning and it was nearing midday on a beautiful Saturday. Rather than practicing his backflips and other parkour skills, Caleb had decided to practice something he really wanted to learn. He had trained this kick on and off for a couple of years now. But his body had never been this strong before, so it was now or never. Caleb made a full 360 degree spin, extending his right leg to his own head height in the process. Before pushing off with his left leg. His left leg joined the right leg in the insane height, although slightly bend, Caleb would spin in the air and his right leg extended. Kicking a small branch almost 8 feet in the air. His foot crashing through the branch like it was butter.

Caleb would land on his left leg again. Almost losing balance, but both his hands touched the ground and he pushed himself back up. Both arms going up into the air. Victory.

"YEA! I DID IT! I FINALLY DID IT! DID YOU SE-"

Caleb turned around to face the people he trusted and cared for the most. His closest group of friends he often hung out with and trained with. But they weren't there. A cold reminder that this was San Diego. This was not his hometown. His joy vanished like dew bathed in the warmth of the sun. He picked up the part of the branch he had kicked down. The joyous smile from before was still frozen on his face. As he stood there he felt lonelier than ever before in his entire life.

OOC: A video of the kick can be seen here. The kicks are all roughly the same, but the one resembling Caleb's kick is the first kick (0:00-0:08)

OOC: Sorry for the delay. ^^

    "I'll make sure."

With a nod of acknowledgment Dimitri left the campus as I decided to take a little detour through the park that was on campus grounds. Silver heels clicked against the pavement while I strolled along the path that was ahead of me. A gentle breeze swiped past me and considering my white Victoria Secret dress exposed much skin, it felt quiet good against the surface of my body. For my eyes the sun wasn't a problem with my Chanel sunglasses sitting pretty on my face. I had plenty of time to get ready for the evenings event when it came, so for now it was just time to myself. While I continued to walk, my golden curly locs bounced a bit with each step I began to realize something. Ironically I didn't have an escort for this evening. I wanted to slap my head for forgetting such a thing.

Every event that I've ever attended I always had an escort. But there is no need to make a big fuss about such a thing, I could always easily make one of the gentlemen there my escort once I arrive. That is if I truly wanted to. Never mind that. There appeared to be someone just up ahead, a little off from the path I was currently on. My right brow perked as I noticed his athletic performance. Now I didn't know too much about martial arts, just bits and pieces of certain arts - though I have been extending my knowledge. I knew that kick. Though I was taken back slightly watching him react so joyously, speaking to no one. More than likely he was in his own little world. But it was pretty impressive, so I decided to approach him. There was no way my presence went unnoticed since my heels created enough noise doing my approach. Considering that I just decided to speak while I was walking instead of waiting to get near him.

"That was pretty impressive, though you're landing could use a little work."

Coming to a stop just a few steps from him, my right hand was placed gently on my hip while my left dangled at my side - my body weight shifting to the left as I stared at him through slightly darkened shades.[/ul]

OOC: My turn to be sorry. Forcing my muse to live now.

Caleb heard nothing. He had zoned off into his own little world of depression and homesickness. A gut-wrenching feeling. He hated feeling like that. But his heart would skip a beat when someone spoke to him. A female voice. Something he didn't really realize until he had spun to face the voice. Not any female. A rather attractive blond girl. He felt chills go down his spine from the shock she had given him. It would be a couple of seconds before Caleb really understood what she had said, and another second to understand what she was talking about. His first somewhat successful 540 degree kick. Thus, his response would be delayed.

"Why don't you give me a heart-attack..." Would be Caleb's first comment to her. He would grab at his already worked up heart and take a step back away from the advancing blond girl. "And thanks, and you're right, I could have busted my ankle if I had been unlucky." Caleb replied. He realized he still held his trophy branch. He dropped it to the ground like it had been nothing.

"So, anything I can do for you?" Caleb didn't mean to sound irritated. But she had caught him at a bad time.

For some reason this little moment was starting to feel more and more awkward as time passed. I watched the branch fall from his hand and onto the ground so nonchantlantly. Hidden red gems stared back up at him once the question came in my direction. There really wasn't anything he could've done for me, or was there. A devilish smile crept over my face once more, as I realized he was pretty cute - just a little polishing up might do the trick and I got my escort for the night. My arms folded loosely across my chest as I figured it couldn't hurt to let him step into my world at least for a night. Even though he might've been a little younger than myself it didn't matter.

"Actually, there might be something... I have this little 'event' of sorts to attend and I don't have an escort.. How would you like to join me, hmm?"[/ul]

Caleb’s irritation was ignored. Very much ignored by the stranger. She wouldn’t leave him alone, in fact. She did the opposite. Invited him to be her escort to some ’event’ the same evening. His irriatation turned to surprise and curiosity. This girl certainly knew how to change the mood of a guy. And if Caleb had been in a better mood, he would probably said yes right away. After all, this girl was a hot blond chick. Instead of accepting the invitation, Caleb raised his right eyebrow and looked at her for a couple of seconds before finally saying.

”Okay, you seem serious… So, sure. Why not?”

Caleb looked over the girl’s frame. He noticed her legs, long and slender. He liked that. The next thing he noticed was her chest height. She was almost as tall as him. He couldn’t see a difference, but his male-ego told him that he was at least an inch or two taller. Finally, he noticed her fully. Overall she was far above your average girl in looks. But her personality. Well. He didn't know about that yet.

”Where and when do we meet?"

OOC: Damn muse, come back here.
