Fremont High School Year: Junior Name: Taku Kenneth Welteel Alias: Wonderboy Date of Birth: April 14, 19-- Age: 17 Height: 5' 11 Weight: 151 lbs Hair Color: Black Eye Color: Blue Nationality: American Ethnicity: Various European bloods. Also has a small bit of Asian in him, but the blood as deluded over the many generations. Hometown: Philladelphia, Pennsylvania Sexual Preference: Heterosexual Love Interest: Still holds a deep love for Reira Ling, although her status is unknown to Taku. So, he's single women. Blood Type: AB+[/ul] l-l Physical Information l-l[/b] [/b]: Taku Welteel has always been a speed based fighter, but over the years he has worked to balance speed and strength. He's got a bit of muscle on him and his body shows many signs of working out. His legs are a bit more muscular than the rest of his body, as many of his fighting styles and his hobbies originate from using his legs. He's had to rely on them his whole life to survive and they show it. Bodily Tattoos: While Taku hates tattoos and usually has nothing to do with them, he has had one tattoo placed on him, on the upper left arm. A Moonlike sign. The reason he has said tattoo on his arm is a closely guarded secret and he doesn't speak about it.[/ul] Apparel [/b]: Taku's casual everyday clothing usually consists of plain coloured T-shirts, usually in the black, red, or blue variety, with a white coloured shirt every now and then. He's usually seen wearing black denim shorts or black pants. Last, a pair a black tennis shoes of boots to finish it off. Cooler Clothing: When the weather get's cool and goes on into Winter, Taku's bottom half doesn't changed much. Neither does his top half to say the least. It will be the same thing save for an over coat, jackie or hoodie depending on the severity of the weather. Signature Clothing: When Taku goes to events such as tournaments, has something special to do or anything else along that line, he will wear this. Business/Formal Clothing: If the occasion ever calls for it, he will wear a black or brown suit, with the same coloured formal shoes and a Red Tie or Bowtie, depending on the occasion or how he feels. Miscellaneous: Taku wears a small chain necklace as a remembrance of his mother with a silver ring attached to it adorned with a crescent moon and the Claddagh symbol, a gift given to him by Reira.[/ul] l-l Mental Information l-l[/b] [/b]: To some, Taku would be called an active and rebellious delinquent. To other he would be called a freedom fighters. Himself? He just wants to live life free and without restraint. Taku's views of the system haven't changed much over the years, but his position has. When he first attended a Corporal Punishment school, he decided to stay out of matters. He had no motivation to play a part in the system and wished to get out of there and move on with his life. He had bigger dreams than that. But his experiences in the school quickly changed him. He couldn't stand to see innocents get hurt and at many times found himself playing the hero, perhaps rushing into many situations blind. He sought to become the Captain of his school and became so to help protect the students there and uphold things. But no matter what he did, he couldn't ignore the source of what was happening. He became a rebel against the system and those who support it, trying to help those victimized find freedom and live up to themselves, without anything holding them back. Taku is a very trusting guy. He makes friends quite easily and is easy to put his trust in someone and return that trust. He knows the world is run on trust and if you can't trust each other, then there would be no relations in this world. He won't betray his friends and won't forgive those who betray him. He is easy to show emotion and can be quite sociable at times. Some have said that he talks to much, but he believes it's better to talk than to fight. He tries to keep his emotions intact, but when he is angry, sad, disgusted, etc. He won't be afraid to show it. He is somewhat open about his personal life and his past, but there are some subjects that are taboo to him and he will show it to people asking, often being rude and blunt. Taku sometimes acts before he thinks. Being the heroic type of person, he will jump into many situations to save a person or something of the like without thinking of the situation at hand. He knows this to be true, but he believes it's better to make a mistake than to let someone be hurt or worse. He is not afraid to show his disgust of the system and those who support it, but he doesn't do it stupidly, where the consequences of such actions might be against him. While he trust his friends, he can be somewhat of a Lone Wolf at times, diving into problems headfirst alone, and sometimes tends to solve problems by himself. Religious Belief: Deism - Taku believes that there is or was a god at one point in life and that there had to have been for the uniwerse to have come into being as he believes that the universe wasn't just always there, but he doesn't know which God or Gods exist, nor does he truly care. It is apparent to him that this God or these Gods don't care to involve themselves with life on Earth and he isn't one to sacrifice his life and freedom to someone that doesn't care or perhaps doesn't even exist anymore. He tends to keep out of religious talks and beliefs. His beliefs are his own and he isn't about wasting time preaching about his own beliefs when they are his own. Mentality: Taku is the type of person that would rather go with his heart than to go with his brain. His feelings and instinct judge and guide his course of decision rather than his logic, but most of the time his feeling and logic will usually intertwine. When faced with decision where he is conflicted, he will most of the time be seen diving head first into a decision before his brain can comprehend it. He believes that going with instincts if going with one's true heart and not doing so would be going against oneself. Of course, he's not one to abandon logic altogether and he knows that logic can reign supreme over instinct on occasions. Hobbies: Taku likes to go for walks around nature, especially when it's raining. He lived a lot in the rain when Nyorn was neglecting him and while he didn't like that part of his life, it makes him feel comfortable and at home. He enjoys reading and writing and dreams to become a writer just like Leute, as reading and writing has fascinated him and he likes to use his imagination. He also enjoys to play the guitar every now and then, but really only does in as a recreational hobby and has no interest in playing in a public scene or joining a band.[/ul] Fighting Information[/b] [/b] Street Fighting and Basic MMA - Having learned to fight on the streets when he was a young kid, he has adopted his many experiences over ther years into his own style of fighting. Because of how most opponents were bigger and stronger than him, he adapted and became a speed fighter, using his speed as his greatest ally. He has took basic Martial Arts classes, mostly classes centered on striking to compliment his speed based fighting. Like his mentality, he fights with instinct and his body will be doing attacks or movements sometimes before his brain and comprehend his attacks. Because he is a practitioner of Parkour, his movements will reflect that as well, and he isn't afraid to use and take advantage of the environment to emerge victorious. Strengths: Taku has great agility and speed and he will often combine that with acrobatic movements for both offensive and defensive purposes. Combine this with his decent strength and his instinct that lead him, he can be quite a force to be reckoned with sometimes. He is a fighter that excels in stirking and will most likely find himself having the upperhand in a striking match. Weaknesses: As striking is his strength, grappling is his weakness. He isn't entirely helpless when it comes to grappling, but he'll find himself having trouble in the area against an opponent if he lets them do so. Taku is almost a more offensive fighter and will find himself having trouble against fighters if he's on the defensive. Also, if one could take his speed out of the picture, chances are he won't be able to do much of anything else. Grades[/u] Strength: B - A low ranked B. Taku has trained himself to be quite the strong fighter over the couple of years, but his many years at speed based fighting as well as his fighting style leaves a few things lacking. While he is a strong fighter, he'll find himself on the smaller end against people who have equal strength yet are more strength based fighters. Dexterity: B - A high ranked B. And understandable as it is. Being a speed based fighter, he also always been very wuick and agile. This being his main attribute, he will usually find himself being a bit quicker than those who can match him. Constitution: C - A mid ranked C. Taku has always been once to train himself to be able to handle his own speed and movements, but as you can see he still has a bit of a ways to go. Wisdom: E - A mid ranked E. Where Taku is lacking. Taku has never been much of a read and react fighter, aiming to use his speed, strengh, and somewhat decent stamina and constitution to lead him through fights.
