With cautious footsteps Fiona crept through the halls of Paradigm, long after most agents had gone to bed. But she didn't sleep, not often. She never did. She'd cling to the dress in her arms tighter with a bright smile. Tamara didn't want to go out because she was always bombarded with everyone thinking. But if everyone was asleep, then surely this would be the time to do it.
She'd beam at the door that would descend down to the depths of Paradigm. Opening it and creeping downward she could feel the whole mood of her environment shift. Where the halls had been optimistic and dare she say normal, the air down here was stifling, stale, and the walls seemed to close in around her. There was a palpable sense of urgency that caused her to move faster down the stairs.
Her eyes would widen in horror when she reached the bottom floor, the dress fell to the ground as she witnessed Tamara standing atop several crates, slipping her head into the noose. If Fiona was seen Tamra didn't react to her presence. But the room was screaming at her, pulsating with urgency.
"Nooo!" She shrieked as she rushed forward as Tamara's body fell off the crates. Fiona dived for Tamara in an attempt to keep her neck from snapping with the fall, but Fiona's body would move through the phantasm. Her hands barely have enough time to catch herself against the wall, even as she winces at the sound of the crates smashing and the rope going taught around Tamara's neck. She winced at the sound as she slowly slid to the ground. Crouching and staring at the wall. Afraid to turn around, certain that she would see the body. Whether or not it was even really there anymore.
"You promised me you'd think about it..."
She whispered as she clutched her knees trembling.
"I... I don't know what the point is if I can't change anything. And now you can't show me..."
