She had a few names crossed off her list. People that had either seemingly disappeared, people she had spoken to, or people she knew already and didn't need to speak to. She had a few names circled, and in her other hand, she held her phone, where she had downloaded all of the files she needed to go over. Savaak was one of the ones near the bottom of the list, and once more, a strange name. Her middle name, she realized once she located her file, but interesting nonetheless.
Going off the picture and description in her file, Venus set out to find the light-user. The very idea of her power made the little spy twinge in agony. Ahh, why couldn't she have worked with her opposite - Aaron? It would have been so much easier to deal with shadows than light...
Still. Don't judge, Vee. She gave a shake of her head and looked up to find the blonde.
Savaak is fairly to easy to spot when Venus comes across her! The blond is scrolling through messages on her phone, and doesn't appear to be aware of the woman seeking her out yet. A small, private smile graces her face as she catches up with friends from outside Paradigm.
"Hmm?" She puts her phone away, tucking it in her pocket as she turns without jumping or showing any sign of being startled. It's a lot like having an older brother harass you.
"My name is Agent Venus Campbell. I am a senior agent here at Paradigm. You're an intelligence specialist, correct?"
She offered her a guarded smile, one with an obvious edge to it. She wore all black in a skin tight, stretchy material that allowed her flexibility, and seven obsidian blades around her belt.
The rest of her weapons were hidden very well. So well that they couldn't be seen.
The one gun she wore on her back was something that could be seen... if somebody looked hard enough.
Check out the spoopy shadow lady. Savaak's gaze sweeps over the woman who introduces herself as a senior agent, not to mention the weapons on hand. This felt very much like a movie where she was going to be given the choice of a mission or die.
"That's correct." S he offers Venus a polite smile. Still waiting for the woman to get to the point.
"I transferred from Paradigm DC in an effort to train the junior intelligence agents." As well as the senior, but no need mentioning that fact.
She didn't sound arrogant in that statement, but she looked over Savaak with an appraising eye, silently judging every word and action. What the hell was WITH these kids?
"You were listed as one such agent. I figured I'd spend a little time getting to know you before I dove right in to the training."
"That sounds fair." Her smile widens as she nods. This one, at least, seems less grumpy. Serious, perhaps, but not grumpy. "I don't really have a deadline to be anywhere right now. What did you want to know?" She slips her phone inside her pocket, all sunshine and smiles for now.
She's very aware of that near-aneurysm and suppresses the laugh she can feel bubbling up. This one's going to be fun.
"And what if there's nothing beyond my file that I feel like sharing?" Again the smile, humor in her voice until the next question is asked. She nods in acceptance as they begin the interrogation. It's not a bad thing to know, either. Sadly, there are no bonus points for not asking about her power, since it would have been in her file.
"Because I discovered early on that I can follow patterns and trains of thought that others might miss or just overlook. It's come in handy. Why did you?"
"Because finesse is always better than brute strength."
Of course, she knew people who would disagree. She knew one person that would DEFINITELY disagree, and the hint of a smile showed on her lips before the seriousness hit again.
"A sharp mind is not the entirety of intelligence work. Is that your only reason?"
.......don't strangle her, Venus. Killing agents is bad. Don't do it.
"Correct," she said, leaning back. "Most of you need work on your observation and your tactics. Paradigm is becoming infamous for running into things head on without any knowledge of the situation." Or finesse.
She debates pulling back of the light-hearted tone, but she's enjoying herself too much to do it just yet. She nods at the observation, recalling the mission she went on to rescue Zora with the others.
"It's whatever I need to be." She shrugs, as though dismissing the idea. "I have the sort of training you pick up in gyms, but not much. Every fighting style has its habits. Some are good, some are unable to work in tight situations."

Avoiding the question? Savaak seemed very content to give her round about answers and say things that were TECHNICALLY answers. She could already tell she was going to be difficult.
Venus remained silent, waiting for an actual answer.
"I still am." It's a good thing it's been established that Paradigm's gym has the equipment for her to continue!
"I would say I'm well balanced, but I prefer the beam and bars." She thinks back a moment, tilting her head with a soft, thoughtful hum. "The beam was my strongest early on. I suppose it still is."
So she could keep her balance, and it should be easy for her to regain her feet. Her legs were strong, but her arms balanced. That was interesting enough.
She remained quiet for a moment as she thought about that, tilting her chin upwards ever so slightly.
The agility and hand eye coordination it took to be a gymnast could always come in handy, and she did say she had an excellent mental capacity.
"You should prepare a beam routine, then. Three days." It wasn't much time, but it should be enough. "Broadcast your skillset to me."
Ah, there was her homework. She wondered if she would be getting any, or if the agent would jut dive right into whatever she had in mind. Savaak nods, mulling over her options and what would suit best.
"Sure. Is there anything else?" Since they're standing right there.
Savaak nods once more in acknowledgement of the senior agent's words, smiling as she waves at the retreating figure. The gesture even includes finger waggles!
"See you later, Agent Campbell!" she calls out in a sing-song voice. It's not until the other woman is out of both sight and earshot that the blond tilts her head back and lets out the laughter she's been biting back, laughing until her lungs ache.
Her new hobby is now officially trolling her trainer. Hopefully, the other woman would figure out the game before Savaak gave herself a headache with all the extra effort.
