Bianca settled herself in a crouch, having pulled herself up onto the highest ledge the school had to offer. Though she didn't expect anyone way up here...Paradigm was home to both power and skill, and typically, a target. And her mom had instilled the habit, on top of that.
She exhales and dusts her hands off before cat walking along the ledge, peering around, down below, and giving a pondering hum.
This side. This side was good. She crouched, hands finding purchase against the edge and pipe, and the teen took a deep breath, allowing a radiant smile to cross her face as her heart kicked up in excitement again. She turned and lowered herself with the intent of descending to the window halfway between the top and another level of roof with a narrow walkway, not using her power for assistance this time, either.
Venus watched in silence, completely hidden amongst the background. She didn't move, just... watching. It had been a bit since she had seen Bianca and she was... improving. That made her smile.
As soon as she began to lower herself, Venus walked over to her, and placed one foot on her hand. She knew the girl's power, and really didn't expect her to fall. She crouched, preparing herself to reach out and grab her if she did.
And then she kicked out, trying to move Bee's hand from the ledge.
The sudden and silent pressure on her hand - foot, but she didn't consciously register that immediately - had the brunette's blue eyes widening. Unsure of who or what, she instinctively activated her power, her hand sticking to the surface!
Turns out it was a good thing, as the kick tried to budge her hand! Bee grit her teeth with a hiss of pain and shoved with her legs, bracing herself, so she could reach out with her other hand for what and where she now assumed an ankle attached to that foot would be. If she managed to grab the invisible and completely silent offender, she would activate her power on that hand, too, and hold tight!
"Vee?! Hi—what are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be in DC?"
She's dumbfounded but removes her hand from the woman's ankle and reaches up to take her hand, her disbelief merging into a pleased grin! She hops up with the help and stands from her crouch.
Venus helped the girl up, watching that shock play across her face. She wasn't sure what she expected, really. She knew that her relationship with Kyrie had its own twists and turns, but Bianca was a sweet enough kid.
"I am," she said simply. "Well, I was. I transferred." Just in time, it seemed, but the agent didn't need to know that. She stepped back a bit, still moving just as silent as ever. Her knives didn't shift from their ever present position on her belt, and she was dressed as usual.
Plus, she wasn't exactly difficult to remember. Considering her work in DC.
"Figured I could stop pestering your mother for missions and come do some good for the world."
Bianca blinks rapidly a moment, absorbing that. Why would she transfer from DC..? She waits, though, figuring the black-clad woman would give her something of an explanation. The first bit made her quirk her head, knowing part of it might have been true. The second part, though, had her considering, and the last part..?
Made sense.
"Decided to come pester us, then?" She smiles, okay with this. More or less, anyway. She was familiar with Venus, after all. "How long have you been around? I'm guessing it was all very, very recent."
"I've said hi to the Ga.... Mak.... Jack and Abby." Why couldn't they come up with a name that was easy to remember? Dammit. "I rested. I saw another agent earlier today. So an entire... What? Day and a half?"
She didn't bother to mention Matt and the tension there. Crossing her arms, she cocked her hip and looked the girl over. "I offered to help train the intelligence agents for Jack."
Ah, the irony. Boss Lady was Boss Lady and now she's training Boss Lady's daughter? Deeeee-licious.
"You're apparently following in Boss's footsteps, hmm?"
She listened intently, an eyebrow perking somewhat. Then followed by the other. Train the intel team?
The irony doesn't escape her. She sheepishly grins and shifts a little.
"Wellllll, I probably could have made Defence work, but Intel seems to be more aligned with powers. So I guess~!" She chirps the last part, pretty much, making it clear it's not a bad thing in her eyes.
Pretty much a foot-in-mouth moment, there. Bianca tips her head a little and shifts.
"Well, I'm pretty adept at getting around. Lock picking...well, that's coming along. I'm fairly spatially aware. I don't go running into situations, juggernaut-style, often," She blinks. "I'd like to think I'm pretty darn smart. But I also know there are others that are smarter, and just...better than I am. But that's not a deterrent. If anything it means I can get better to close the gaps."
She smiles! She may never be as hard to see or hear as Vee, but, that was something to strive for all the same.
She nodded slowly at every skill Bianca offered up for scrutiny. The fact that she didn't go running headlong and reckless into the fray was always a plus.
"Do you have your picks on you right now?" She asked, eyes scanning across her frame to try and identify the familiar bulge. Venus had a special place for her own set of picks, just as flush against her skin as everything else.
She also looked for any specific weapons that she might be able to see, standing still and crossing her arms.
