I have no idea what that was about, yesterday, but I'm not going to live my life looking over my shoulder. I'm not afraid of you. It's obvious we have irreconcilable bad blood, even if I'm not totally sure why, but we can't be at each other's throats every time we see each other - it's not good for anyone involved to have this constant tension and butting heads. I won't put up with it anymore, and I won't subject Sarah or our other friends to it. Meet me in Tutorial in an hour, we'll settle this and leave it there. Show up if you have the guts to face me like a man instead of ambushing me.
-Aaron Silverman
If he replied, he wouldn't get an answer back, because Aaron was already out and wouldn't see it to read it. They weren't exactly each other's biggest fans, but that attack out of nowhere, which nobody would explain to him? The last straw, especially with that death threat attached. Aaron is willing to take a lot of crap from people, and he knows he was acting... strangely, irrationally, yesterday, but nobody gets to put their hands on him. If there's not an end to this, soon, he can tell something horrible could end up happening.
Aaron is there well ahead of schedule, in workout clothes that won't restrict his movement, his hands wrapped. He'd decided to prepare, to get some warming up in... and to scout around for someone willing to be a referee. He didn't want this getting out of hand, and Angel doesn't seem to be somebody who knows how to stop when things are past that point. While he waits, he's doing some shadowboxing - the kind that doesn't use his power - to keep the blood flowing.

Aaron stares blankly at John for a second! The Director wasn't on the mailing list, but sure, okay.
"Waiting for him, uh, sir. I wanted someone senior on hand, who could keep it on the up and up. Someone who can step in if things get too crazy or something permanent might happen."
He might be in the mood to work Angel over a bit, but he doesn't want anybody to get seriously hurt.
"There's been a lot of bad blood lately, and I want it settled before something really bad happens."
"My girlfriend's podmate, sir. Friend of hers. He and I haven't gotten along... basically ever. But yesterday he attacked me while I was visiting people in the infirmary, and threatened to kill me. So, because he wants a fight so badly, I'm gonna make sure he gets one - we're gonna settle this problem like men, before someone really gets hurt."
Aaron blushes, and isn't sure whether to just let John assume! It is in a way meant to assert who was the real alpha around here, just... not for that.
"I hope he isn't after her, sir. But he's been itching for a fight for months and it's time he got one. I don't want to hurt him, but if throwing down is the only way this will stop, then that's fine."
"...Right. So I'm sure you're under the impression I need to fight you to get some sort of self worth. But after thinking about it, there is nothing I will gain from beating you."
Angel wasn't going to play whatever game Aaron thought he was laying out. Angel had better things to do than to appease some douchebags sense of pride.
Angel nodded and stared at Aaron like he was an idiot.
"I apologize for the other day, that was a case of bad timing. I saw Piper hurt, I was told you screwed up, and then you immediately walked into the room. What you took as an attack was only meant to be a 'I pin you to the to wall and demand answers' to which you defended yourself. Fair enough but at what point after ward's did I attack you back?"
Because he didn't, and as stated before he didn't make threat just a warning. Aaron was the one taking all of this out of proportion.
John steps in between the two, glancing down at Angel.
"As things are right now, I've already been called down. Lets not waste any more of my time, and have you two train together. A friendly spar is healthy, and it seems like you two have some things to work out."
"Paranoid much? I'm not a monster. I'm a predator, and I don't seek out pointless fights. Sarah said you screwed up, and that's it. Because guess who interrupted!"
Angel shook his head to the Director.
"No offense but it sounds like the real issue is between Aaron and his girlfriend, don't involve me in your 'love' spats. So with that taken cared of, I'm out of here. I'm going to go do something that isn't a waste of time."
Angel turned around and was about to walk out when he stopped and called back.
"Also, just so you know. You said you wanted to handle this 'man to man'. Well guess what Chuck. I'm an animal, and animals don't dabble in the meaniness affairs of Man. We are above that."
Then he left.

"And yet you've joined Paradigm. You can't have it both ways!"
He's not angry, just shouting after Angel so the guy can hear him!
...Okay, a little angry. Shut down, he sighs and looks to the Director.
"He's been picking fights and arguing and talking to me like crap on his shoes for months. I give him the chance to settle it, and he runs off. Sorry, sir."
"If you like, sir. He's so up himself with that 'grr I'm a lone wolf and smarter than everyone' crap I don't know if he'll listen. He pulls these ridiculous condescending speeches all the time."
He sighs. It doesn't feel good talking so... bluntly, meanly, about someone. "I have no idea how I could possibly mend bridges with him. Dude's hated my guts for months, and frankly, at this point I'm not exactly a fan either. But we can't keep fighting every time we see each other."
